Hello, I am new to ubuntu, is this update for desktop only or for both (desktop and mobile). I have ubuntu touch on nexus 4 15.04 ota 10.1 is there any 15.10 version for mobile?. I am also running xubuntu 15.10 on my laptop and it works great. I am going to update to 16.04. Ubuntu is great :)

It's only for desktop/server/cloud/etc.

For your Nexus 4, OTA-11 (which like OTA-10 is still based on 15.04 for driver purposes but is supported and has updates from 15.10 and soon 16.04) will be released in May, at which point they will consider whether they want to rebase the phone on 16.04 LTS or if they want to just wait until they move entirely to Snappy Ubuntu Core.

So keep enjoying that phone and get your laptop updated when you have the time. :D

Thank you to everyone who worked on this. Ubuntu makes my life better and I'm grateful for all you've done.

I've played just a tiny part around the edges, with the wallpapers and example content and release notes, but thank you! It's great to give back to an OS that has improved my life so much and to know that others can enjoy it, too!

If I installed a RC from a week ago can I just do a regular apt-get upgrade?
