24 is about 25 years from November 6 2001 the best show FOX ever had. I went and recorded the dvd menus it's like memories of season 1. I think fans need those season 1 recaps too with the DVDs it just adds more to the suspense.

This comment made me curious. I started with binging as I started in 2005, later waiting patiently, how did you get stuck in? Would you recommend a binge watch?

Dammit!

The most multi-layered characters in the show. Gregory Ipzin and Penny Johnson Jerald really did great jobs.

What's popping gamers. A long time ago, I was given a YouTube link somewhere on Reddit (maybe r/television) to a segment of a Japanese comedy sketch show that featured Carlos Bernard combatting a Michael Jackson impersonator. I'm unable to find this link, and I've been unable to find this video through various methods that I've exhausted. Do any of you lovely people happen to have a link to such a segment.

Villians? Patriots?

I gotta say, the Bill Cole storyline in Day 3 gets a bit spooky. His thoughtless affair starts increasing the casualty count, with no end in sight. I wonder if that was even necessary? I would think the loss of Annicon, and the 700 at the hotel, and Chappelle, and Gael, would be enough pain for the Day.

appreciation post

Tell what the worst season for 24 1 to 6, there was no room for 7,8,9,see 2nd post

Hes not that complex but hes one of my favourites. Hes one of those guys you just trust implicitly.

I’m rewatching the show for the first time and for some reason I remember thinking Ryan was a bad person on my first watch.

But after watching it again, he’s really just the ultimate red tape bureaucrat. Sure he hinders and slows Jack and others but it’s not because he wants to. He’s just going by the literal letter of the law as if there was no grey area or room for interpretation. But when that red tape gets cut he’s happy to allow CTU to do their jobs.

He’s not evil, he’s just corporate.

Most intense scene and also heartbreaking moment imo. I knew something was gonna go down between Jack and Audrey but didn't knew it will be like this

Let's play a game. say if you become the showrunner of this show for a season. what would you like to change or improve something that has always bugged you while watching??. for me: I would improve the dialogues, I always thought 24 has like the most tacky dialogue ever on tv, like every person (even the civilians) sounds like they are trained military or IT sector people and they just happens to know about electronic or military protocol etc. I would give it a bit more flavor, yk this kinda tachy dialogue has been perfected by Michael Mann movies yk, and his style of dialogues always have personality to it. I would do something like that

Im not casting any aspersions on the writers/casting directors, its just a curious pattern. There was one in each of the first four seasons.

It was a bit like "ohh Ryan has to die. Bummer. Anyways..." They didnt even consider staging his death or negotiating.

This name belongs to a character in two productions that star Kiefer Sutherland. Who knows the one besides 24, and which character it was?

Kiefer had to be involved in giving Eric Balfour’s character in 24 the same name, because it’s too coincidental.
