Here we have a common practice among production companies to keep squeezing a franchise dry, in this case, by creating a version suitable for young children.
1.) Muppet Babies.
While the Muppets already had the logic of being puppets, in their world they were something like theater actors. In Muppet Babies, they are all siblings.
2.) Attack on Titan: Junior High
This was released even while the manga was still ongoing. It presents a world where the characters, I believe, are the same age as in the Attack on Titan arc, but now with an appearance befitting a peaceful world. Titans exist, but now they are like a separate species with which humanity coexists. The problem is a school, and I think fans were familiar with it because, being supervised, it comically reinterpreted several moments from the main series, but it also contained spoilers. I'm not sure how it was in the manga, but in the anime, to give you an idea, it was Frieda Reiss's first animated appearance.
3) Betty Toons
In another attempt by RCN to continue the success of Betty la Fea, they released this series that reinterprets the telenovela episodically in a school setting, where Betty is the new girl, and everyone else is a child, except for Gutiérrez, Inés, and the characters' parents.
It recreates some moments from the telenovela, ending with Betty going to France, although here it's on a scholarship.
This is what Draw Together was making fun of.
I'd like to include El Chavo, but that was just one episode. Later, they released merchandise featuring El Chavo as babies, but it wasn't an animated spin-off.

The Liar Revealed is one of the most divisive tropes in fiction. Some are fine with it, but many, myself included, despise it as overused and cliche.
But... There exists a rare variant where a liar is finally ousted and they absolutely delight in being caught, because either their plan is coming to fruition, or they're just having a great time in the thrill of the chase.
Arasha lied (Smosh/IRL): If you haven't seen the three part epic that is Arasha's little prank on her coworkers at Smosh, it is insane. First was a subtle one, lasting only a week. She pretended to have booked Marvel (which would be HUGE for the small time actress), but the second, far greater one was her pretending to be engaged for six months. The reveal was DEVASTATING to her friends and lasted for way longer than the prank did, with some not finding out until way later. And now that she's leaving Smosh, some people don't know if she's even telling the truth.
Spy Master (Doctor Who): I don't watch Who, but apparently the 13th doctor was pretty contentious. However, this scene of her realizing that an MI6 agent is actually her old nemesis the master is absolutely delightful, with him just so excited to have his plan laid bare at last.

These jesters or jokers speak for themselves with their own silly-looking, unique looks and personalities.
Pomni (The Amazing Digital Circus): Why she looks like a jester is one thing, but her being part of many comedic moments speaks for itself.
Joker (DC): Probably the first of many that comes to mind when talking about jokers.
Kefka (Final Fantasy VI): Absolute villianious scum with a jestering personality and infamous laugh.

Apothecaries (40k) They are the Medics for the Space Marines… they specialize in battlefield medicine, surgery, and the recovery of gene-seed. But they are still Space Marines they possess the same superhuman strength, reflexes, endurance, and combat training as their battle-brothers.
Mordin (Mass Effect) He's knowledgeable about medicine, chemistry, firearms, and assassination. He's perfectly comfortable explaining that sometimes helping people involves killing dangerous people.
Unohana (Bleach) She commands Soul Society's medical division and is one of its greatest healers. She was also the first Kenpachi, an extraordinarily lethal swordswoman who originally learned healing techniques partly to prolong her battles.

Star Wars Rebels - Kanan and Ezra both try and fight Darth Vader, but he is too strong. Their only way to survive is to run away.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - At the end of the game you face against Darth Vader. But you don't get the option to fight him. All you can do is run.

In Project Moon's The City universe, guns are just very costly as they're taxed high. With the same amount of money required to buy a gun and its magazines, you can bought body augments to your whole team.
Also, gun isn't that good against capable opponents. As skilled Fixers can just dodge/endure/deflect bullets or approach the gun users fastly with their augments.
So overall, regular guns just aren't that effective against skilled opponents, and they're too expensive to use on trash mobs

Being extremely afraid of something, also known by the suffix, -phobia, can be used to define characters themselves.
Indiana Jones-Snakes (Ophidiophobia): Despite the countless near death experiences that he has had in his adventures, Dr. Jones has a unfathomable fear of snakes, even when he almost drowned in quicksand when he had to hold one to get out of the sand in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Batman- Bats (Chiroptophobia): Bruce Wayne becoming a sudden orphan after the murder of his parents would usually have him transition his fear of bats into the very theme of his eventual crime-fighting alter ego as Batman.
Ted and John Bennett-Thunder (Astraphobia): "Thunder Buddies for Life" as a way to express their shared astraphobia fear of lightning and thunder, especially on nights where they jointly chant about it and give the finger to them.

Sonic the Hedgehog is the world's fastest, coolest, and bluest hedgehog famous the world over for his super heroics. You would forgiven for mistaking Shadow for his brooding brother given how similar they look. They even rival each other in speed and Shadow also has access to the golden Super form activated by harnaessing the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds (or the Master Emerald if you're cheap). However, 25 years after Shadow's debut and despite being a major plot point and despite Shadow himself being the 2nd most popular character, no official explanation has been given for their similarities.
Goku's actual brother looks nothing like him. I suppose he has his dad's eyes and his mom's hair, if you squint a bit. Regardless, it's funny that another Saiyan who looks like his twin brother came to Earth to use it as fuel for the Tree of Might. Goku and Turles are both Saiyans, a warrior race with a social structure dictated by a power tier that's basically set in stone from birth. According to Turles, while not related, Goku and Turles look alike because they're both low class Saiyans, aka weak Saiyans. Their appearances are a dime a dozen. However, both have overcame this social structure in their own ways: Goku through effort and tutelage and Turles by sucking planets dry to fuel the Tree of Might and eat of its fruit.
They have similar abilities because ki blasts and waves are basically all the same. The differences come from how exactly they do it and the colors. Turles has a rather burtal fighting style. Goku knows techniques such as the Kaioken, a move which can double his strength up to 10 times (at the moment, but the dub makes it 20), the Destructo Disk, Solar Flare, and the Spirit Bomb. Aside from the darker skin, Turles also has strands of hair that resemble devil horns on the top of his head.
Originally, author Tadatoshi Fujimaki was going to make Kuroko (indigo hair) and Akashi brothers. However since Akashi was the last opponent for Kuroko to defeat, he decided doing so would be too sad. I speculate he also wanted to avoid this because Akashi already has a tragic back story since his mother's death is what kick started his twisted second personality. This is a basketball shounen, btw.
I haven't watched Bleach in almost 10 years ignoring a beach episode and the filler arc when their swords became people so forgive me if I'm mistaken. Regardless, to my knowledge, these mfs just look a like for no particular reason. I ain't read his wiki article in ages, but Ichigo's name only appears 3 times in Shūhei's page. So these are two rather important characters who just so happened to look alike but have no strong connection or relation to each other. And then there's this mf who looks like him, is related to him, and he has the same hair color as Shūhei. Master class trolling on Tite Kubo's part.

Luke and Leia with Darth Vader
Do I really need to explain this? I feel like this is so ingrained in popular culture that it's impossible for everyone not to know atp. But Luke and Leia are the children of Darth Vader.
Yuji with Kenjaku
Kenjaku, Yuji's mother, was a 1000+ years old sorcerer with the power to brain hop from one body to another. Mf was responsible for the rape of Yuji's half-brothers' mother and the murder of his father after using the corpse of his mother to give birth so that he would become to be the host of literal Satan, who's his great uncle.
Strom Thurmond with Essie Mae Washington-Williams
Strom Thurmond, former senator from South Carolina, he was staunch white supremacist and segregationist, who ran as a Dixiecrat (Southern Democrat) candidate in 1948 against Harry Truman because of his support for Civil Rights. His eldest child was a mixed race girl named Essie from his relationship with Carrie Butler, a 16-year-old African-American domestic servant when he was 22.

King (One Punch Man)- considered the strongest man on Earth, but is actually just a regular man with a scary face who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and got credit for defeating a monster, and then his reputation just kept getting him in more dangerous situations that he had to bullshit his way out of
Ciaphas Cain (Warhammer 40k)- propaganda paints him as the hero of the Imperium but he thinks of himself as just a manipulative coward only concerned with his wellbeing
Gim Giryeo ( Illusion Hunter from Another World)- Alien wizard who's soul ended up possessing body of a dead smoker, which is a problem because lungs are important component for casting magic. Still, he managed to save people using the knowledge from his previous life and now everyone is convinced that he's just hiding his real power.

I don’t even have a real way to actually explain what I mean but the vibes are there.
First and second examples are Severance and Shogun, and the third bat themed example (I think? It’s the first one I can remember doing it) is Westworld.
At this point I see it and think “oh look another Westworld intro”

Slides in order: Crusoe (The Water Horse) inspired the Loch Ness Monster, Sasquatch Family (Sasquatch Sunset) is just a group of Sasquatches/Bigfoots, Behemoth (Godzilla: King of the Monsters) inspired the Mapinguari, Peeny-Weeny (Dandadan) inspired the Dover Demon.
To count, characters must be cryptids and NOT purely mythological creatures (so things like unicorns, dragons, and mermaids don't count). They can be the straight-up cryptids themselves or creatures that canonically inspired real-life cryptids in-universe.

Marluxia (Kingdom Hearts 2): at the beginning of his fight he casts doom on you, giving you something like 35 hits before you die. Easily my favorite org 13 fight in that game, shame the "harder" version gives you more hists instead of less which seems like an oversight. I think he also does this in 3 but its been years since I played that game :p.
Carmilla (Castlevania: Belmonts Curse): same deal as Marluxia, she gives you 8 hits before you're done for.
Very specific one but I always like when it shows up.

Lester Nygaard (Fargo TV show) - A meek salesman who is bullied by nearly everyone in his life, Lester finally snaps when his wife belittles him over not being able to fix a broken washing machine and beats her to death with a hammer. This is only the beginning of his villain arc.
Milton Waddams (Office Space) - A shy, neurotic employee who is at best ignored and at worst abused by the Initech management. It’s even revealed that he was actually fired years ago but he still works there because no one bothered to tell him and a glitch causes him to still get his paychecks. The final straw is not when he gets his desk moved to the basement and told to kill the cockroaches while he is down there. Nor is it when they finally stop his paychecks (again, nobody bothers to tell him why). No, the final straw is when they steal his beloved stapler. He ends up burning down the office and running off to the Caribbean with three hundred grand that he stole.
Ziggy Sobotka (The Wire) - A more tragic example. Ziggy is well-liked but little-respected among his fellow dockworkers, who often use him as the butt of their jokes. It happens more than once where drug dealers rip him off without even trying to make excuses just because they know they can get away with it. Even those who genuinely love and care for him—namely, his father Frank and his cousin Nick—don’t trust him with anything because he is a perpetual fuckup, to the point that Nick even tries to pay him a generous share of his own earnings from drug dealing just to keep Ziggy from getting involved. The fateful moment arrives when a fence in charge of a warehouse pays Ziggy only half of what was promised for some stolen cars. Ziggy comes back with a gun and murders him and wounds another employee. Unlike Lester from the first example, Ziggy is remorseful and immediately confesses everything to the police.
