TRT help TRT & potential issues with supply chain

I suspect some will blast this post as paranoia but here goes:

Does anyone worry with all the issues around the world (manufacturing in China, Artificial Intelligence doomsday predictions, financial insecurities, wars, etc….) that supply chains for TRT or other meds would be disrupted? It’s doesn’t have to be a complete collapse to cause minor disruptions for our daily way of living.

I just figure if they can run out of toilet paper during Covid, I would suspect that medications could just as easily have issues or delays due to a variety of world issues.

Any thoughts?

TRT help I’m considering TRT Concerned About Escalation of Supporting Prescriptions

I’m 52 and extremely healthy, with the exception of age-related lowering test levels. Not a single chronic prescription drug I ever had to take in my life (antibiotics at most for acute illnesses).

TRT interests me but I’m concerned that it will create a cascade effect where symptoms will require other prescriptions to manage, and each of the prescriptions will have its own side effects. So i end up with chronic daily prescriptions when today I’m healthy and don’t need anything.

What has everyones experience been with this?

Blood work How long does Enclomophiene Citrate affect LH and FSH?

I split a total of 100mg of clomid over a week and have now stopped. I'm wondering if anyone knows approximately how long clomid remains in the system after the last dose.

More importantly, how long does clomid continue to affect or suppress LH and FSH after the last dose?

I'm particularly interested in how long it might take for LH and FSH to reflect my body's own levels.

PED/cycle help Question on Anastrozole

I’ve been on TRT about 12 weeks. My start on my testerone was just above 300 (I’m 43 male). I started off at 200mg once a week but that was really messing me up so I have been taking shots twice a week at 100mg monday then 100mg thursday which really seemed to keep me more leveled out.

However, I got my blood work results back and I was at 1,440 ng/dL and estradiol of 74 pg/mL. This was before my 2nd shot (same day just didn’t take it yet).

My doctor prescribed Anastrozole but really didn’t give much information on it.

I would like to take Anastrozole for a couple of weeks to lower my estradiol level and I am also going to lower my injection amount to 60-75mg twice a week rather than stay on estrogen blocker.

I have noticed that I feel more puffy, my nips are sensitive and my left one is starting to develop gyno. I can feel it but it’s not massive or noticeable yet.

As anyone had a similar experience and does this sound like a good plan?

I also had to donate blood as my hemoglobin was a bit high as well.

Other Anastrozole 0.1mg (along with Enclomiphene)

I know everyone here promotes the real TRT (I'll get there eventually, don't worry). I'm just starting out and my TRT clinic doc thought I should try a low dosage of Enclomiphene along with Anastrozole. I started the Enclomiphene (6.25mg EOD), but have been hesitant on the Anastrozole. I believe I am starting to feel some high e2 symptoms and was considering taking a very small dose.

I have been doing research here and many advise very low dosages of Anastrozole. The dosage I was given indicates 0.1mg on the bottle. So this would be far less than 1mg. Should I cut that in half, or is this already a small enough dose? I haven't seen anyone discuss a dosage this low.

Just looking for some opinions. I wouldn't take it more than once or twice a week depending on how I feel. Getting more labs done in a couple of months.

Blood work 23M, Testosterone at 392 ng/dL. Is this low for my age?

I’m 23M and recently got my bloodwork done.

My results:
● Total Testosterone: 392 ng/dL
● Free Testosterone: 81 pg/mL
● SHBG: 17 nmol/L
● Estradiol: 32 pg/mL
● Vitamin D: 20 ng/mL (low)

I’ve been experiencing low mood, fatigue, low self-esteem, and difficulty losing body fat despite regularly lifting weights and doing cardio.

My doctor prescribed vitamin D3, but I’m wondering if my testosterone could also be contributing to these symptoms.

I’ve been considering TRT or enclomiphene, but I’m concerned about messing with my natural production at 23.

Is 392 actually low for my age? Has anyone with similar levels experienced these symptoms, and what helped?

TRT help Could TRT help me out?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’m 32. Workout 5-6 days a week for years now, recently did a blood test @ 7 am. I’m 6’ 223 lbs. I’m struggling with low test symptoms especially low libido for like 5 years now. I know my test level is over the considered normal range, but could TRT help me out? anyone started from these levels? Also diet is locked in. 200g protein a day.

I’m just really sick of feeling sluggish, brain fogged, and incredibly low libido. I just don’t feel right. It’s caused me issues with relationships because I just feel like my sex drive is gone even though I don’t want it to be.

Blood work 8 weeks on TRT (125mg) – High trough E2, severe lethargy & oily skin. Protocol advice?

Hey guys, looking for a quick sanity check on my 8-week bloodwork.

Current Protocol:

125 mg Test Enanthate / week (split 2x/week, shallow IM delts)

Lean / athletic build (~154 lbs / 70 kg), low body fat

Blood drawn at true trough (morning before scheduled injection)

Labs (US units):

Total T: 568 ng/dL (260–930)

Free T (calc): 13.2 ng/dL (5.7–17.8)

FAI: 81.4 (17.0–78.3) [HIGH]

E2 (sensitive): 40.9 pg/mL (< 39.8) [HIGH at trough]

SHBG: 24.2 nmol/L (16.5–79.3)

(Thyroid, HbA1c, PSA, Lipids all fully optimal)

Symptoms:

Extreme fatigue / lethargy: Brutal afternoon crash (2–3 PM), brain fog, falling asleep super early on the couch.

Very oily face by midday (zero gyno/nipple issues).

The Dilemma:

My doctor only looked at Total T (568 ng/dL) and suggested increasing to 150 mg/week because "there’s room at the top."

However, with lower-normal SHBG (24.2), FAI already above range (81.4), and E2 elevated at the lowest point of the week (40.9 pg/mL), I’m worried 150 mg will just spike E2 higher and worsen the lethargy.

Questions:

Would you keep 125 mg and just switch to 3x/week (~42 mg M-W-F) to blunt peaks, or drop the dose to ~100 mg/week?

Has anyone cured TRT brain fog/lethargy caused by high E2 simply by increasing injection frequency without an AI?

Appreciate your thoughts!

TRT help IM vs SubQ confusion

Hi All

Apologies for asking this again, I searched the group and there's massive mixed opinions on which is better between IM and SubQ and looks like it depends on the person. I have recently switched from cream which didn't work to Cypionate 150mg per week, I'm trying EOD which is about 43mg per pin. Will put some of my latest labs below.

Does IM really make you feel better than SubQ, and is the side effect risk worth being cautious about? I'm reading higher peaks from IM which makes people feel better but it also increases hematocrit a lot more than SubQ. Also reading IM is better for those with higher SHBG so I'm really confused which route to go with.

What is best while still being safe long term?

Labs on cream

Total testosterone: 7.0 nmol/L = 202 ng/dL

Free testosterone (calculated): 96.3 pmol/L = 27.7 pg/mL

SHBG: 54 nmol/L

Hematocrit 43% (before cream)

TRT help TRT at 200mg/week — Increase Test to 250–300mg or Consider HGH for Muscle Growth?

I'm 44, currently on TRT taking 200mg/week of testosterone cypionate. I lift consistently and am looking to increase muscle mass and improve my physique.

I'm considering a few options and would appreciate hearing from people who have actual experience with them:

Stay at 200mg/week and focus on optimizing training, diet, and recovery.

Increase testosterone to 250–300mg/week (or potentially higher).

Stay at 200mg testosterone and add HGH. I've been considering 4–6 IU, five days per week, with 6 IU on lifting days.

I'm particularly interested in whether HGH provides a meaningful advantage for actual muscle growth compared with increasing testosterone, especially considering the cost, side effects, and long-term health implications.

For those who've tried both approaches:

What differences did you notice in actual muscle growth, strength, recovery, and body composition?

Was HGH worth the additional expense and potential risks?

Did increasing testosterone above TRT levels produce noticeably better results?

What side effects or bloodwork changes did you experience?

Looking back, would you do anything differently?

I'm not looking to make changes blindly. I want to understand the tradeoffs and what bloodwork or health markers I should review with my prescriber before considering anything.

Appreciate any firsthand experiences or evidence-based advice.

TRT help Putting on muscle too fast.

I'm a big boy, 6'6" 460lbs, 44yo. Started TRT in Feb. Was 415lbs and fat. Now im a lot less fat but stacked on some muscle to the point where my body is having a hard time adjusting. My feet have been hurting and the sudden change in weight has left myself, Dr and wife confused.

I look leaner, am definitely more active, but can the muscle really that much? If I had pics of before and after, first would be fat guy, second would be fat guy but in way better shape. I DO NOT LIFT. I KNOW, I know.... ive been lazy and have been more active with my 8yo daughter. I need to go back.

Just seeing if anyone has had experience with this. Also I have had no bloat or swelling, just sore feet and confused how I wouldn't weigh LESS with the amount of fat I've lost.

TRT help Trt without using hcg

I have a question for those who use testosterone without HCG: do the testicles shrink so significantly that it becomes clearly noticeable? Also, does the volume of ejaculate become extremely small, or does it remain within a reasonable and acceptable range?
