Every.single.white.person. EVERY SINGLE ONE. Has always told me to shave my head or cut my hair short. Every single POC has complimented my hair yet every HwiteTM person I meet or would slide into my DMs just to tell me I should get rid of my hair. Why do you hate my hair? Why does it bother you? Why do I need to be bald???

I genuinely hate it here because I have a good friend, and like he’s really nice. I just feel bad because he’s straight and doesn’t know im trans, like I haven’t told really anyone. I sort of just secretly wear a binder and my baggy masculine clothes, preferring to stay androgynous until I can start transitioning as I figure stuff out.
And obviously I wanna hang out with him bc he’s my friend but it’s also like im sorry bro I don’t mean to reject you like this but im a dude. it’s not his fault he doesn’t know but it’s so awkward. Man.

i've noticed that a lot of content is made for transfems, by transfems, and while i absolutely don't have a problem with this (and support it, of course), it's been really difficult to find other trans men.
i've tried looking for transmasc-centered spaces, but the gap between transfem vs transmasc communities is huge, and it's been much more significantly difficult. on top of this, if i do find a transmasc space that looks good, there's this underlying feeling of toxic masculinity just to ''blend in''.
i've also been feeling this cultural divide of sorts, since a lot of the trans people i see in general are white. because of this, i merely feel like a peering spectator who's grasping for any sort of resonation.

I used to be part of a trans sub meant only for black people, but it got archived by the owner a while back so I left
ever since then, I haven't really tried looking for other servers because in my experience, most trans subs on the English side of the Internet are very white. I tried staying in the server for a while but I just couldn't really relate to anyone there. people would actually be shocked when I mentioned I'm black
so now I would like to know if there is a discord server for trans men of colour. if not, would anyone be willing to create one?

It feels impossible to pass with non-eurocentric features…
