I’m out for my first Klap ice skates and it’s a bit dizzying what the options are.

I skate a bunch but not very well and feel that going from the high boot fixed shoes with clasps to something more properly fitted would help me progress. I feel the material is limiting me at the moment.

What‘s a good strategy to start? For instance: Is there really such a difference between Viking Bronze and Silver shoes? What blades should I pair with and is it an easy upgrade later on?

I’d like to get something that’ll last me a bit without breaking the bank.
