I M30 has accepted the true me

Hello, I’m new here and I feel like I have finally found a place for me. I have always felt like that sex isn’t for me after trying multiple times with my partner. Sex has always felt uncomfortable and I really don’t like the feeling either. It has always felt a bit gross to be honest. I have finally accepted that I’m asexual and sexual averse m. Thank you for creating this subreddit, it really helped to discover myself

I wish I hadn't lived on this planet or even been born here 😒....

My name is Rikelmy; I’m 19, I live in Brazil, and I’m AroAce. I’m writing this because I’ve reached a breaking point where the exhaustion has simply overflowed. I feel a total, absolute, 100% extreme repulsion toward any kind of carnal attraction or romance.

I hate living on a planet where sex and romance exist when I want no part of them in my life, and honestly, I’m not in a good headspace. It feels like every day just gets more boring and repetitive—the same old thing: people reproducing for the survival of the human species; people finding sex pleasurable with partners who only think about getting down and dirty or talking about it—"Wanna do it, babe? 😏 I’ve been waiting to try this with you 😏." SERIOUSLY, MAN!!!!!!!!........ IT ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTS ME! I hate this polluted world, I hate the sexuality of this world, I hate growing up, I hate the whole family-building thing, I hate sex ed classes at school, I hate people who like sex out of biological impulse, I hate the impulsive reproduction of animals, I hate people being happy within the illusion of the biological matrix just to get intimate with one another, I hate wild nature—I hate EVERYTHING! This extreme hatred drains my energy.

Sometimes, all I want is to be a child again, to go back to that time of purity where I didn't have to understand what it means to be a teenager or an adult. Or, better yet, I wish I were a totally asexual being on another planet, far away from this reality that everyone calls beautiful but which, to me, is flooded with impurity every single second. I want to make this very clear: I don’t want to die, I don’t want suicide, and I’m not looking for therapy. What I feel is a deep desire to be safe in my childhood or to belong to a cosmos where none of this exists. Don't tell me this is a psychological issue or mere childishness.

This is my daily reality. From the days of cavemen to the present, I have viewed *Homo sapiens* as a species addicted to primitive instincts. I just wish I had been born in an evolved, logical, and asexual place—without even knowing that Earth and human evolutionary biology exist. It is exhausting to deal with the automatic thoughts my own biological brain generates about the people around me, when all I ever wanted was total neutrality.

I leave this question for others who don't fit into these gears: do you also feel like you simply don't belong on this planet?

Feeling a bit confused here and there about myself?

I was searching about sex-repulsed label on some lgbtq+ wiki and I might fall in the category of uhhh.... sex-drained. Due to trauma reasons. And I was wondering if it's okay to talk about it here? To get some better understanding about myself.

I'm confused because on one hand I enjoy some sexual stuff, but on the other I feel uncomfortable to see in some occasions sexual things, especially irl photos, I feel like I'm breaching privacy of these people (even though they posted the pics by themselves consensually) and I got some paranoia that I might be forced to talk about what I saw (this fear happens with sfw media as well).

The traumas involve my parents and uhhh... how to say, it does still affect me because of helicopter mom who doesn't understand privacy and still wsnts to talk to me a lot even though I'm an adult. It's a whole mess in my case. 🫠

When did you all find out you were not like other people?

When I was in elementary school I began to withdrawn from my schoolmates and spent all my free time in the library. For some reason, I decided one day to never fall in love or sleep with anyone (I don't think I even knew what it meant then). To this day, I've never liked anyone or felt any sexual attraction. I have always felt this away. The thought of someone else being near my body in a sexual way really makes me feel disgusted. I sometimes wonder what is it that makes me feel this way. Maybe it's simply statistical?

I'm curious to hear about other people experiences if it's similar to me or simply different.

I don't understand myself fully. I'm suffering extreme repulsion, In need of people who can relate. Please.

Hi, idk if this subreddit is active enough that I'll actually get responses, but it's worth a try.

I (m17, aroace) don't know what exactly is wrong with me but I have a SEVERE repulsion to all sexual things, especially orgasms. Simultaneously, I seem to have a libido, though low.

I was not abused, I was not harassed (well, we'll get deeper into that). I am sick of my body doing stuff I didn't consent to. If anybody who isn't completely sex-positive is interested in trying something like masturbation, I heavily recommend avoiding it because it feels so...

I genuinely flinch thinking about this stuff. I have panic attacks, and I should stop looking online for solutions and get help because the things I see people say online in this hypersexual state of the world... it's... it should be considered sexual harassment.

I've reached out to the internet a few times about this, and one you can all see in my post in r/asexuality. Every time, there's always these strong recommendations claiming the only good way to make the feelings go away is... to act. I've tried that before. I've even had the urge to many times before.

If you are sex repulsed, I need you to listen to me. You are not alone, and you DO NOT HAVE TO DO THAT STUFF. NEVER make yourself do that stuff. NEVER let your body or urges make you do that stuff if you don't actually want to. NEVER EVER let peer pressure make you do that stuff. These kinds of statements often make me cry, in joy. This is because it's in an unholy contrast to what most of the world seems to say.

I don't have many words for what I've been through, but I'm hoping to communicate with those who have been through similar stuff.

We don't deserve this. The world sees us as broken, and they want us to "fix it" by learning to enjoy that horrible, horrible sensation that I NEVER recommend to the people of this sub.

Please, I need somebody to talk to who understands me. Truly understands me, not just someone pretending to because they see that I'm suffering. I don't want anything long-term or irl, just a temporary online friend who is also suffering, or, if we're truly not rare, a little group.

I know I'm not alone because I see people on these kinds of spaces describing similar or even identical feelings to what I feel. I'm just so fucking terrified of feeling that sensation. I have not been abused, and I seem to have just been born with extreme repulsion.

What do you think about people that likes to have sex?

Mine is a bit complicated but when I see them, I just see that these people are so pathetic and incapable that they can't even suppress their urges from stone age. They're basically slaves to their stone age impulses, too pitiful to evolve. They think the purpose of life is to reproduce and continue the bloodline, but that's the most despicable goal and mindset imaginable. A lot of asexual young people end up feeling lonely and fearful of betrayal just because of everyone else's obsession with reproduction, lust and sex.

It's just my opinion, but I wonder if anyone does think the same thing as me. (İ posted this in r/asexuality but it got deleted because of "allophobia")
