Discussion My favorite quotes from Scream
I’ve seen this movie dozens of times and did my October rewatch last night. Decided to take notes on lines of dialogue I liked from each character for fun. Definitely want to hear which quotes others like! And please don’t kill me for any misquotes. Enjoy.
Casey
- Popcorn!
- He’s big and he plays football and he’ll kick the shit out of you!
Ghostface (on the phone)
- What’s your favorite scary movie?
- Because I want to know who I’m looking at.
- Can you handle that, blondie?
- I want to play a game.
- Helloooo, Sidney!
Tatum
- “I’ll send you a copy” Bam! Sid! Super Bitch!
- Nice welt, Sweetie.
- Billy and his penis don’t deserve you.
- No, please don't kill me, Mr Ghostface, I want to be in the sequel.
Dewy
- Does mom know?
- What did mom tell ya? When I wear this badge you treat me like a man of the law.
- Where did you learn to punch like that?
- I’m 25. I was 24 for a whole year.
- I'm sorry, I'm on duty.
Gale
- Move your fat tub of lard ass NOW!
- I’ll send you a copy.
- Oh god, Kenny, I'm sorry but get off my fucking windshield!
- It all began with a scream over 911...
Randy
- Theres always some stupid bullshit reason to kill your girlfriend.
- There’s a formula. A very simple formula! Everyone’s a suspect!
- There are a set of rules one must abide by in order to successful survive a horror movie.
- Jamie, look behind you!
- I never thought I’d be so happy to be a virgin.
Stu
- Liver alone!
- After you branded him the Candyman, no, his heart’s broken.
- I’ll be right back.
- Surprise, Sidney!
- Watch a few movies, take a few notes. It was fun.
- Cause let’s face it Sidney, your mom was no Sharon Stone.
- I’m feeling a little woozy here!
- Peer pressure. I’m far too sensitive
- You fucking hit me with the phone, dick!
- My mom and dad are gonna be so mad at me!
Billy
- Sidneyyyy! (while being driven away in a cop car)
- You’d rather call me a psychopathic killer than touch me.
- We all go a little mad sometimes
- What’s the matter Sidney, you look like you've seen a ghost
- Now Sid, don't you blame the movies. Movies don't create psychos. Movies make psychos more creative!
- Say hello to your mother.
Sidney
- You owe my mother!
- Why can’t I be in a Meg Ryan movie? Or even a good porno.
- You sick fucks have seen one too many movies.
- Not in my movie.

Discussion Does Scream need a New Nightmare?
I was thinking about this today, they’re making a Scream 8 with Neve Campbell, and I’m sure I’m not the only one to feel like the series has run its course. What would be a better way to close out the series than an homage to Wes Craven’s New Nightmare? Imagine Neve Campbell (and as many fan favorite actors as you’d like) getting hunted by a deranged fan in a Ghostface costume. I feel like it would be a nice meta way to refresh and close out the series.

Image Did you get Fanta Ghostface Punch in your country?
Honestly not really that good, I just bought a couple for the cans
Is a collection of different Fanta flavors, each for a horror character like Chucky, Megan, that guy from Black Phone, Michael Myers and others

Question Is this the right mask? Why is it so cheap?
galleryI was thinking about ordering a mask and costume and was caught off guard when I saw the low price. Are there multiple versions of this new mask? Is this the one I’m looking for? This is the one with the shroud hood right?

Discussion The tv show is so good imo and worth a watch Spoiler
galleryWhat were your thoughts on the show overall if you watched it? favorite characters, kills, or most shocking reveal/moments for you?
I remember watching the first season on MTV back in the day when it was airing and really enjoying it, and being a huge fan of the franchise, bought and watched all three seasons last year and absolutely loved it and consider it one of my favorite tv shows of all time. I was pretty invested in the Lakewood Slasher storyline, loved Emma's character development in season 2 as a more active final girl and liked her PTSD portrayal, and Audrey (and her cool camera) was probably my favorite character in the show. The scene with Jake's body falling on the stage in front of Brooke in season 2 is one of my fave scenes in the show and was absolutely heartbreaking and such a great and shocking moment. The kills were honestly very graphic and brutal for being on tv (Will's especially, like goddamnnn), I dug the more psychological methods the Lakewood slasher used against the survivors, and both Piper and Kieran were great reveals (the latter especially, him repeating "You will feel safe again, Emma" from the phone call was such a chilling slip up).
I know season 3 is controversial, but I loved that it had actual Ghostface in it, and has some of the nastiest and most mean spirited kills in the entire franchise. Keke Palmer was also great and a standout as usual, and Tony Todd (rip) playing a small role was awesome. The Ghostface in it is also one of my favorites in the franchise.
Season 3 spoilers! As an alt horror girl myself, I really dig Beth as Ghostface. I liked how her character was playing in everyone's faces as the horror nerd trying to tell everyone the rules and catch the killer as she was orchestrating her own villain origin story around them. Her motive being she was just bored and wanted to be her own slasher villain was cool ("See, I used to think that. But then I realized horror isn't about the victims. I mean, why do you think the franchises last so long? The body drops change, but the killer always comes back for more. The killer's the real hero of the story."), her mandatory reveal monologue was fantastically unhinged ("Because I was born bad. Unlike you and your little Deadfast besties, I don't lie to myself about it. The difference is, when I take mine off, nothing changes. I always knew I was a sociopath. I mean, why do you think I love horror movies so much? I watched every single one I could get my hands on until I realized it just wasn't quite enough. Why should Michael Myers get to have all the fun when I could be a better monster? Because I'm not just some actor behind a mask. This is who I really am on the inside."), and the actress really nailed being a detached calm sociopath. The eyeball overdose kill with Shane and elevator bifurcation with Amir were absolutely gnarly and horrifying, and it was cool of them to do different things with Ghostface rather than just the same old stab routine. Also, she's maybe the first Ghostface since the original where one of their victim's saw their faces before they died (whoever killed Casey when she ripped their mask off in the OG and Beth letting Amir see her face as he died.) Ngl, as much as I loved the first two seasons of the show and the Lakewood crew, I actually really liked season 3 overall. If you watched season 3 of the scream tv show, what did you think about Beth's character? Did you suspect her reveal as Ghostface? Where does she rank in terms of your favorite Ghostfaces in the franchise? She's def up there for me, and her line about "No wonder Jason never runs after all those stupid counselors. This is freaking exhausting!" after chasing Liv onto the school roof lives in my head rent free lmao

Discussion Something I just realized about the scream movies.
In scream sequels, gale writes a book on the woodsborro murders that stu and billy did and gets turned into a movie called stab. Wouldn't stab version of Gale do the same thing in the movie, repeating the process of a film within a film within a film?

Discussion Sound stage in Scream 3 looks just like Foreman house.
I’m sure the only intentionality behind this choice was “It needs to look like a home exterior sound stage set.” But it did give me a giggle how much this one particular angle makes it look so much like the Foreman house from That 70’s Show.
