In other words, which anomaly is significantly overrated in terms of the danger it poses?

This might be a controversial opinion, but I think SCP-055 fits the bill.

Sure, we don’t know what it is, who it is, or where it comes from, and we forget about it all the time, but if it were truly dangerous, the world would have ended by now. Since we’re still here and everything is normal, and the world hasn’t ended, I don’t think it’s actually that dangerous.

It’s not exactly an easy entity to contain, but it’s highly overrated, as it poses no long-term danger.

I'm saying, in my opinion - that it's scp 053. She's always alone as if someone is near her for more than 10 minutes - they'll try and kill her. She can't have normal friends or a normal life. She's stuck at the age she is now. Heck she has to enclosed or trouble will happen. And her only friend is a reptilian killing machine that's immortal and hates all living things except her.

I've recently been reading 20th Century Boys and was wondering if there's any SCP that gives off a similar vibe to Friend.

I'm not looking for a 1:1 equivalent, but rather an SCP that:

• influences events from the shadows
• has a mysterious or hidden identity
• gains a devoted following or cult-like influence
• feels more like a mastermind than a physical threat

Basically, an SCP where the idea, movement, or person behind it is as dangerous as the anomaly itself.

Does anything come to mind?

Sorry if this is a generic post but the fifth church is my favourite GOI

A little different than the heatstroke kit. Iota 10 is a vibe though

Hey guys, so I recently started to get really into the Scp lore and I’m amazed on how much information there is.
This raises 2 questions that have been in my mind:
1. How do you guys keep track of what you read and have not? Or you just don’t bother and read randomly?
2. Do you not feel a sense of need to read everything just to know everything that there is to know?
My experience is that I just go into random rabbit holes and start reading from there. For example, the integration program kept me in the same place and I learned so many different Scps. But I always feel like I’m missing a whole world of scps out there and don’t have the memory to remember everything I want. What’s your strategy like?
3. I feel like I’ve always been a artistic person. Drawing and cinema were always my ways of expressing myself. And I have a hard time with so many amazing stories within the Scp community that I just can’t move on from some stories without drawing it. I just feel a big urge to do something with that amazing story but don’t have the time or money to do the filming I wished in my head.
Is this a common problem with people? Am I alone in this strange feeling?
Sorry for the long and probably criptic post. Thanks for reading

TL:DR: how do you deal with the immensity of information that it’s inside the Scp lore?

havent used that specific artwork of him since forever (not talking abt the sprite its pretty recent)

is this niche enough😂😂😂

i spoilered the post mainly because i feel like people should read SCP-6140 (honestly one of my favorite Daevite SCP's)

We did it! THANK YOU🎉 Escape from Site 19 is funded, the SCP inspired board game, Polish edition and English extras of the game is happening.

A huge thank you to everyone who knows and backed us, shared the campaign, spread the word, or helped us through those final hours. You made this possible. 🖤

Thought I'd share/remind this series to y'all. Scp Confinement by LordBung.

A shame, how it ended...

I'm drawing a lot these days somehow.

I tried to be creative.

I based them on jesters and ballerinas; I like to think of them as extremely theatrical and walking on tiptoe most of the time.

Extremely annoying too.

If you want me to draw any other SCP, you can mention it in the comments and i'll try to do it :D

I'm having so much fun doing these!

So the semi-official Standalone 'SCP-001 - When Day Breaks' game SCP:Daybreak is being redone.
After years of struggle, I just decided to go ahead and do this now.
^{why not, eh?}

My project, my work, credit for the '001' SCP goes to SDLocke.

Been enjoying it really nicely but so far I have 17/20 main ones excluding the 5 continuations, but having trouble even with the Arcana/Reader hints

Didn't like the chibified fan model I made of it.

Hello! Very enthusiastic TTRPG and anomaly horror nerd here. I’m currently creating a call of Cthulhu campaign for each site and area that the SCP-foundation owns. I was looking through the site and area dossier and realised that site-5 was on the list but apparently it doesn’t exist? Every article that mentions it has no explanation other than it doesn’t exist, and the actual SCP article it explicitly states for the dossier to read doesn’t say much other than “oh hey, site-5 doesn’t exist and there is this stupid anomaly that keeps on insisting that site-5” exists. Apparently SCP-9923 is also contained at site-5 (or was at least on the crossed out list of anomalies contained at site-5) and I’ve read the whole article and I’m still lost. If a really nice guy could help me out here I would be very thankful. Thanksz and have a beautiful day, night or afternoon wherever you are :]

I'm still behind schedule, blame that on my doctor's visit, I can't hear out of one ear. This one was curious! I tried experimenting with textures pencils for the tall dude skin, so maybe in the future I learn to use them for making my drawings better! This SCP is alright tho, I like the premise I'm just not a fan of tall simple guys in general

OST I listened while drawing: Tensions - Martin Kvale

In short, I'm making a board game about scientists, where the objective is to contain some SCPs, I think about 15, and to help achieve this objective they can research upgrades, in addition to there being an infiltrator among them. But I wanted to get ideas for SCP types like cognitive risk, pathogenic, etc... since there will be upgrades that will give more points depending on the type of SCP you are containing, recontaining, or researching.
