Hey, folks. I made a post a few days ago promoting the North Pittsburgh Past Finders Metal Detecting Club, and reminiscing about the ring recovery I did earlier this year. Well, I was able to help recover another ring this evening!

A member of the community reached out to the club and I was able to find the ring and return it! Attached pic of successful exchange!

Was at the Daniel Donato show tonight. Show was ended early due to medical emergencies.

I know everyone’s been talking about this for months, but frankly, I need to just vent for a sec: the street I live on is under construction, the intersection I live NEXT that gets onto the highway is under construction, the entire many-miles-long street I take the bus on to go to school is under construction, the parking garage in my school is under construction, the 61B just broke down on my way to get to work from school, and when I get asked to cover a shift down at a separate job in downtown, the street I work on is under construction.

I hate this so much. After a while it feels like the construction sites are actively trying to prove a point or something — like what, did you want me to think leaving the house is impossible? I don’t even drive! I walk as much as I can and I take one of the most-used bus routes in the city. If even I’m finding it impossible to get to school or work on time — *and waking up at 7 from construction noises* — then something should probably be done about this. We’re getting terrorized by construction

I see this guy all over the place. The car is very thin and has no rear view window or side mirrors - I’m assuming there are cameras instead of mirrors? Anyone know what kind of car it is?

…and no one cares. Kudos Pittsburgh.

At the Jonas Brothers concert tonight (Monday but who’s counting), the line for the women’s room was so long in Ultra Club that women started going in the men’s restroom and using the stalls.

It eventually got to the point where women were waiting outside the stalls and men were waiting for the urinals…and no one was assaulted wow

I made the comment that “wow, it’s a bathroom, no one really cares what you’re doing”, and got a few “exactly”,”right”, and “for real”. Damn straight.

To the woman who just walked in and said “I’m a Mom of 4 boys I don’t care if there’s guys, I’ve got to piss”…amen, as a Dad to 4 girls I couldn’t care if you’re in there with me (you must fart as loud as I do though).

My daughter went in the men’s room outside the club and said there were women using the urinals the line was that long. No matter what sex you are, just don’t be a meat gazer.

How is this safe, or even legal? There's not even a visible license plate!

The Pittsburgh councilwoman proposing a city tax on unearned income acknowledged Tuesday the proposed levy could face legal challenges.

Councilwoman Barb Warwick, D-Greenfield, said she is confident the city could defend such a tax in court — though not everyone is convinced.

So the remaining option is Oakland? Where there is zero parking? Pass.
