Germany Should I get the Galaxy S26 Ultra for basically €0 or wait for the OnePlus 16?

I've been using the S24 Ultra 512GB for about 2.5 years, and the battery life has noticeably degraded. The fingerprint sensor is also barely usable without a screen protector, and with any protector I've tried, it doesn't work at all.

I work at an electronics store in Germany, so I can get the S26 Ultra 256GB, normally €1,004, through the following deal:

- €350 trade-in value for my S24 Ultra

- €175 trade-in bonus for an old device

- 10% employee discount

- €400 gift card if I sign up for a gas and electricity contract through the store

Basically, I could get the phone without paying anything out of pocket.

The catch? I honestly don't like the S26 Ultra's overall, and I'm not impressed with its battery and probably the Display too. My dream phone would be something like the OnePlus 16, but it's going to cost me a bit.

What would you do in my situation? Take the deal or keep using my S24 Ultra and save up for the OnePlus?

Getting a new flagship for essentially €0 sounds amazing, but I don't want to end up with a phone I'm not even excited about.

Both these phones are almost around same price nowadays, From the reviews it looks like oneplus camera is week and samsung battery, Now which one to choose. Expectations atleast works 4-5 years, don't get lag, even after 4 years, Capture natural colours, not saturated.

France Durable phone under €600 with good multitasking, battery life and camera (EU)

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a new phone and would appreciate some recommendations! Here are the main points, but I will go into more details of my usage afterwards.

Budget: €500–600. I'm starting to compare options now and plan to track prices until Black Friday. Open to reconditioned phones

Location: France / Portugal.

What I'm looking for:

• Good multitasking performance, including split-screen and floating windows

• Good battery life and wireless charging

• A good camera, especially in terms of image processing

• At least 256 GB of storage

• Good durability and water resistance

I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy A52, which is starting to show its age. Overall, I've really liked this phone, it's held up pretty well over the years, and I love its size. I'd prefer something around the same size or slightly smaller.

I tend to keep my phones for as long as possible, but I'm also quite rough on them. They need to survive frequent drops and occasional exposure to water. I like the Samsung Z Flip phones, but I'm worried they might not hold up well with my usage.

Although Pokémon GO is probably the most demanding app I use, I often use several apps simultaneously. For example, in my current phone, if I'm playing Pokémon GO while listening to Spotify and try to reply to a WhatsApp message in a floating window, one of the other apps will close.

I'd like a phone that handles this kind of multitasking smoothly, without apps constantly closing or the phone overheating.

I like taking pictures and would really appreciate a good camera. From the photos I've seen from friends, I like the image processing of phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S21+ and iPhones. I'm not necessarily looking for the absolute best camera on the market, but I'd like consistently good photos without having to do much editing.

I also travel quite a lot and regularly watch shows on my phone. I don't pay enough attention to have the screen and refresh ratio being super important, but battery life is a major factor. Ideally, I'd like a phone that comfortably lasts a full day of heavy use. Fast charging would also be a big plus.

Other features I would like but not deal-breakers:

• A magnetic system similar to MagSafe to hold onto a power bank or a tripod

• The ability to play different audio through the phone and Android Auto simultaneously

• Double-tap to wake the screen

• Around 6.5". I personally find the Samsung Ultras too big.

I was interested in the OnePlus 15, but from what I understood they are leaving the european market. A friend bought one in Korea and is now selling it, but I'm unsure how the warranty would work if something went wrong. Does anyone have experience in these situations?

What would you recommend based on my usage?

Thanks!

Best camera for moving subjects

I've been on a mix of Samsung phones (eg the S23U, S26U) and Pixel phones for the last 5+ years now and I've thoroughly enjoyed them. I'm currently using an S26U.

However due to recent events (having a baby), I've noticed that baby photos from family members who use iPhones are generally better. We have a family chat where people share their photos in, and iPhone photos just seem to be consistently good.

I already have an iPad and Airpods, so it's not like I'm unfamiliar with the Apple ecosystem. However I absolutely hate the iOS keyboard which is probably why I've been on Android so long.

Every other aspect of Android I could easily give up, but the keyboard is tough...but I might consider it if it will result in generally better photos.

Does anyone have any camera reviews they can point me to which are specifically of moving subjects such as kids and pets? Cameras are so good now that in ideal conditions, I think most of them look great. It's conditions such as low light and moving subjects together which I'm interested in.

The only review I can find is this one comparing the 18 Pro, S26U and Pixel 11 Pro

Philippines What phone should I get

What smartphone would you recommend with a budget of ₱33,000?

I'm looking for a phone that focuses on gaming performance and multitasking without sacrificing too much camera quality.

Here are my requirements:

- Budget: Maximum of ₱33,000

- Software: Must run at least Android 16

- Software support: At least 4 years of software updates

- Performance: Powerful chipset that can handle demanding games and heavy multitasking smoothly

- Camera: Good overall camera quality for everyday photography and videos

- Availability: Easily accessible in both physical stores and official online stores in the Philippines

- After-sales support: Reliable warranty and customer service

I'm looking for the best all-around option that balances gaming, multitasking, camera quality, and long-term usability within my budget.

Poland iPhone 15 Pro to S25 or S26?

Hello,

I recently thought about going to Android since my friend got an S25 and I love it. I don’t know if I will switch from Apple, especially because I got the whole Apple products collection in Poland and idk if it’s worth it. I’ve got AirPods, an Apple Watch, iPad, iPhone and other stuff. I don’t know if I want to get the S25 or the S26 tho.

Can anyone help me please? Thank you

us My mum’s camera roll keeps growing. My budget doesn’t. What phone should I get her?

• Upvotes

My mum’s old OnePlus is constantly running out of storage. She loves taking photos, so every clear-out buys us about one outing lol. I’m working with a fairly limited budget, so I’m trying to get her the most storage and the best camera I can for the money.

A friend suggested the realme 16 Pro. 512GB would give her plenty more room, and the 200MP camera with OIS sounds good on paper. But how does it do indoors or when people won’t stand still? She’s very much an “open camera, tap, done” person. No messing with settings.

The 7000mAh battery is a nice bonus. At around 192g, it doesn’t sound too heavy, though a case will add a bit. Hopefully the switch from OnePlus wouldn’t take too much getting used to either.

Is it a solid buy for her, or would the same money get her better photos and similar storage elsewhere?

Please advise me a good 5g phone for a moderate user, no gaming, should have least after sales problems. My Samsung Galaxy A35 5g, bought just in Jan 2025, froze suddenly & stopped working, motherboard issue.
