Hi all! I made a free Android companion app for Phasmophobia — Spectral Journal — and I'm looking for beta testers.

What it does: all 30 ghosts with an evidence filter for every difficulty (3/2/1/0 evidence), 50 observed-behaviour checks for no-evidence runs, incense/cooldown/hunt/UV timers with voice alerts ("Demon can hunt again") — start them with the volume buttons, a Contract tab with setup-phase clock and estimated team sanity, floor plans for all 13 maps with cursed items and hiding spots, footstep speed tools, and the official news / Twitch Drops feed. Offline, no ads, no account, 9 languages. Unofficial fan project, no game assets.

How to join (1 minute, use the Google account that's on your phone's Play Store):

I know that a lot of people on this sub complain about the whole eye adaptation thing, I just got this game literally yesterday and tried to turn it off, but there’s not even an option to do so. Can you vets help me out? I just wanna play the game

This game is a unique experience for me. I've been terrified of ghosts for as long as I can remember. Can't watch horror movies with supernatural elements because they'll give me nightmares for a week.

I've been playing this game occasionally since it came out, usually around Halloween, and there's nothing like it for me. Nothing else is consistently scary. I can't play it for more than one game at a time but I love it

I have an issue with all the light always being red. It’s not because I’m in an event lobby or something. I’m playing with my friend and they say the lights are normal to them. I’m on pc, my friend is on ps5.

I tried turning off pretty much all options relating to video, including eye adaptation which i read was a common issue.

My graphics card is a nvidea 3060.

A few years back, my friend was playing phasmophobia and he sent me this video of a ghost voiceline that we can only seem to hear as 'Close to Busting'. I'm not sure that would be appropriate so any ideas on what it COULD be saying?

So keeping it short I have been a pirate my whole life, multiplayer, single player every game never paid a dime but when I started playing phasmo I got addicted to it and loved it so much,so today I decided to finally buy my first game on steam and I can't tell how much more fun and meaningful progression has become in this now. Game so good they made a pirate into a customer

Anyways now to the question when I played the purchased copy after deleting old one (switching account too) but it still shows now old level in game (86) will I get banned for this much level this fast? Or should I reinstall the game I don't think that would work though or is it fine?

Hi, I’ve been killed by a demon twice now—both times in under a minute—but I didn’t receive the Achievement either time. I’m wondering why that is; could it be a bug?

My SO and I got the Second Edition Cursed Voodoo Doll back in 2024. He's almost always at my bedside, occasionally I cuddle with him and I often like to play with him. Gotta give them that enrichment to keep them happy! He's just too darn cute. (Keyboard fidget if it's not known). My favorite cursed object in game is definitely tied between the Voodoo Doll and Tarot Cards.

When i started i used to just throw writing book because i thought there is a pen, there is paper it will surely write in it. Took me a bit before i realized I needed to place it

Then when i unlocked crucifix i thought same thing and would never throw crucifix instead id always place it thinking it wouldnt work otherwise

So I played for quite a bit today, some in the early afternoon and some later at night. The early after noon session was completely normal zero issues, but when I came back in the evening I had an odd audio glitch: I could hear audio in the pre-map lobby, and on the main floor of the map, but not on the truck//outside or basement of the map. This persisted across all games and after closing and reopening steam, phasmo, etc.

I already went through all my audio settings on the computer and made sure no enhancement stuff was turned on, made sure it was set to the actual headphones I was using, tried different headphones, still no fix. I was able to still play on tanglewood and luckily only got a ghost in basement once, but also it was a rev and that could 've ended very poorly with no audio lmao.

Anyway does anybody have any suggestions on things to try, either in game or out of it? I tried a quick good and subreddit search, saw other people with issue in past but no solution.

P.S. To make sure it is super clear I don't mean a multiplayer or comms audio glitch, I mean full audio. Can't hear foot steps, no background ambience rumble, no spirit box static, then the moment stepping off the stairs to main floor or through a main door it comes back with like a half second delay. Not sure if glitch persists in all maps or effects all maps equally.

I really wanna play :( is there any way I can disable flashing lights because its hard being a horror game fan but epileptic at the same time

Not sure what I did wrong. I always watch NukaDave for the twitch drops, and I always get the foil versions, but this time I didn't get them.

Are they at a later date?
