Comes with converter, original box, and 5th anniversary "Minori" ink bottle (a greenish color that dries to brown, imitating the color change of rice as it grows) with around 75% left. 2. Vintage Platinum 3776 Briar Wood [B]. 14k M JIS nib. Not quite sure how old this is. Has been inked. Comes with modern Platinum converter. The nib writes a fairly fine line and has a little bit of spring to it. The pattern of the wood is rich and very beautiful. Snap cap. $350 OBO.

My previous case held 121 pens, and I have pens stuffed in coffee cups and a variety of cases, in pen sleeves stacked in containers in my closet, etc.  I’m committed to owning 39 pens, so I still have an incredible number to destash.

• Diplomat Viper: Condition -- B [ Excellent] This pen has been used a fair bit, but shows no visible signs of wear. It writes very smoothly and overall is a great pen. The converter will come with the pen. $70 + shipping.
• Opus 88 - C [ Fine ]. This pen also is in otherwise excellent condition, it just has some very mild staining on the rear of the pen from a time I somewhat accidentally put carbon black in it. Under normal operation with any ink in it, you really won't ever notice. I don't really even notice it when it's empty. 85 + Shipping
• [sold] Nahvalur Nautilus Original Really sorry, I had the model wrong- B [ Excellent ] I've used this pen literally twice and it's my first ink fill with it still. I just personally hate how it feels. Iunno, $30 + shipping, I just want this pen gone and I don't want to throw it away.

This workhorse performs flawlessly and is in excellent condition for its age (although it does have some scratches on the clip, pictured). As such I’m rating it a [C] condition. Many of you may have seen my last posts trimming my collection and selling off some of my weak-minded impulse purchases. I've since been talking to people around me as well as done some self-reflecting, and I did come to the conclusion that my collection has outgrown its purpose. Now when I look at my pens, I don't only see the tools I use but also unnecessary overconsumption. So with difficulty and help of friends I've decided to heavily trim even the remainder of the collection to only keep pens with sentimental value or handmade items, hence the number of additions to this post.

Shipping: All items ship from Czechia. Prices are without shipping, shipping will depend on where you are located and which method you wish to use for shipment. I'm willing to accommodate shipping anywhere, as long as it's reasonably accessible. I'll ship the items as soon as possible after receiving payment, I'll aim for the next business day, but expect it to be between 1-4 business days.

Shipping costs: Depends on the country, intra-EU it should be €6-20 in most cases, depending on the amount of insurance and distance from Czechia. The buyer is responsible for all possible import duties, taxes, and other fees where applicable. Shipping to the US depends on the destination but appears to be €40 to 80 on average. (It does really vary widely based on box size, and destination)

  • Another impulse buy for a grail pen I have not ended up using because the Pilot Custom Urushi is the one that stole my heart. I bought most of the grail pens at once, only ended up using one of them. I have inked this with a cartridge of Sailor Shikiori Rikyucha and only used 2/3rds of the cartridge journaling. The pen hasn't been used at all since I have bought it, apart from a few pages of journaling.
  • The pen is in a perfect state, I've been extremely gentle with it, and it shows, in the pen having no marks or signs of use and is basically pristine.
  • Comes with the original box and everything which was included in it. Additionally, comes with a box of Sailor Souboku cartridges (12pcs).

I've used this one quite a bit more than the rest, about 4 fills, but I have two SF Pilot pens, and rationally I have to let go of one of them. There's no real signs of use I can find, but it's been used for indoor journaling and creative writing.
  • I don't have a box for this one, so I'll instead toss two packs of Pilot cartridges as a freebie, unused Pilot CON70 converter and a box of Majohn A1, Pilot compatible refillable cartridges.

  • The pen is in great condition, I'd say there are not even signs of use, urushi is really a resilient material. I used the pen for a few months journaling and for creative writing. The pen is wonderful, one of the best nibs I did ever use. I found it extremely difficult to put this one for sale, but ultimately it was bought as a bad decision when I heard these are getting harder to find due to the general slow down in urushi manufacturing. I have another blue one in FM and that fits my writing style better, so in the spirit of being reasonable and preventing myself from becoming a hoarded I decided to let this beauty go into the world.
  • Comes with the original box, unused Pilot CON70 converter, and a box of Pilot cartridges.

The following pens are rated as B because they have seen a lot of use for indoor journaling and creative writing. They have been well cared for, and I don't see anything wrong with them. Ban-Ei vermilion with semi-flex 14k nib from Kabutogi Ginjiro in B condition. Pen has no serious defects, save shallow marks including fade lines above threads caused by cap rubbing onto the body. The nib and feed are in perfect condition. Overall build quality is remarkable. Threads are tight and precise. Hard to believe it was hand made, nevertheless here we go. Vintage ebonite pen lacquered in vermilion Urushi with ebonite feed. The colour of vermilion is tad darker than what you would find on modern Pilot CUs.

The nib is 14K, semi-flex, with a line width ranging from F to B. Please note that this degree of flex is standard for GK nibs - the nib has not been modified in any way. The nib and feed were heat-set by the pen maker. To preserve the original assembly, I strongly advise against removing the nib.
