I am looking to see if there are any people looking to sell a pelikan. I don’t have any pelikan and they are the last of the “big” brands I have yet to try. I’d definitely prefer an M809, but I hear the m1000 is a wonder to write with.

I’d prefer <EF> in the m1000 because I hear it’s a firehose and I have a bad habit of not writing legibly without a thin line.

<EF> or <F> is fine for the 809. I have a type, and those all black pens are just my jam.

I wanted to love the Estie but it's not for me. The Jowo #6 is gigantic, the pen is gigantic, it's supersized like many American things. I'm a fan of functional Japanese pens, they fit better in my hand. I did buy it second hand but all of the papers and the ink cartridge it came with are in tact and it obviously comes in the original box. The matching converter is also included. I'm not sure if this was from the original release or the re release.

The nib on this pen is fantastic and I love the filling mechanism. I have 4 total and one has to go, the others are all numbered editions. The nib and filling mechanism are in perfect order the only issue is the resin ring that locks the crescent is a bit loose. It doesn't affect functionality at all but I want to be transparent.
