Blogs I found helpful while I deal with severe parental alienation from my father

For Adult children who were victims: https://www.papaorg.co.uk/post/do-adult-children-ever-recognise-parental-alienation

You can read both also. Not the most encouraging, but I find them to be quite on point.

Family court is a joke. It continues to allow the abusers to abuse.

Question as the Step Parent

My husband has been going through parental alienation a while with a 12 yo G and 14.5 yo B. We had an ours baby this year (that the kids had previously asked for). Well of course it was an exhausting summer but we made it through and then in August his son refused to come over or see my husband anymore and his ex backed him of course. The last time he stayed over my husband told him to stop carrying his phone around everywhere because he kept taking it out during dinner, family times, etc. and his son basically refused and said I don't have to listen to you, and then this happened. Well anyways, now he messages the other day and asks to come rummage through his room and pack up whatever he wants with less than 24 hrs notice. I said absolutely not this week. His son causes tremendous amount of anxiety when he comes over due to his conflict nature and we are having a rough week this week with trying to prep for a last minute road trip (leaving Sunday), hosting people for Halloween, and our baby had vaccines earlier this week and neither of us have slept since.

So he said he can come get his things after we get back from the trip, and asked him again if he wanted to hang out (see a movie) with him and he said yes. My question is where should be go from here? If he is only hanging out with him to get to his things that's one thing. If he wants to keep hanging out with him but not come over the house or see me and the baby (his half brother) I have a lot of feelings about that. I'm torn and part of me just wants to let him erase himself from my and my son's life to not have to deal with his drama and just let me husband see him. But the other part of me feels betrayed in a way. if my husband is okay with his son cutting me and his baby brother out and continuing a relationship with him solo. We've been living together for the last 3 years so it's not like this all happened really fast and I'm some sort of stranger.

What are your thoughts as an alienated parent? Hopefully this sub is kinder than the stepparents sub, I've learned my lesson about posting there.

Communicating through letters.

In the new order it says my husband can write letters to his daughter through her cou selor who must review them. He hasn't written any letters because why would his letter be reviewed?!

Anyways so I write my stepduaghter letters directly to her I let her know she's having a baby sister on the way.

She ACTUALLY WROTE BACK. She said she would like to be in her sister's life.

It seemed reassuring.

She hasn't spoken to her father in 10 months now. I mailed her a baby shower invitation. I have no idea if she will go or not. If she will have a ride or if she would be allowed to go at all. I will be extremely surprised if she shows up but I'm also concerned about of her mother or step father goes as her chaperone.

If her stepfather goes, I will need to call the cops to have him removed but if her mother (alienator brainwasher mental health abuser) goes idk what to do.

She's at least very good at pretending to be nice so I know the peace will be kept. Her husband on the other he doesn't pretend. Hes a genuine POS. If they show up to chaperone for her, what am I to do?

This shower is for my baby, my friends and family with good and positive energy. My step daughter is family but her abusers are not.
