Hello!
We are still looking for a few more student paramedics to participate in some online semi-structured interviews.
This study is undertaken as a part of a PhD and hopes to understand student experience dealing with ethical challenges whilst on placement.
The hope is that we can better support students and mentors in navigating ethical challenges in the future.
The interviews take between 30 – 60 minutes and are held online.
If you are interested, please sign up on the link below or follow the QR code.
Thanks all!

This study has ethical approval from the University of East Anglia and mod approval for posting

Hi all, quick share for NQPs or those prepping for placement blocks or OSCEs.
Having recently qualified as a paramedic, I know how hard it can be to get realistic practice making clinical decisions without the pressure of someone grading you on the spot.
I spent time putting together a free tool called ParaSim (parasim.co.uk) where you can run interactive UK ambulance scenarios from dispatch to handover and get a full clinical debrief afterwards.
It is totally free and you do not need to sign up to use it. Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone heading out on the road or brushing up on assessment frameworks. Any feedback on the cases is always welcome.
