Research/Survey/Interview 30,000-40,000 Nurses and napo-produce ng Pinas per year

If we’re going by PNLE statistics, from 2023-2025 approximately 40K ang nagiging nurse per year but still andami pading hospitals ang understaffed - how is that possible?

All About JOBS Lesson learned mga kuNars? 😭 HAHAHA

• Upvotes

Hi, guys! Share ko lang experience ko kasi until now napapaisip pa rin ako kung mali ba na naging honest ako during my interview. 😭

During the interview, tinanong ako ng manager kung magte-take ba ako ng NCLEX, and being honest, sinabi ko naman na YES kasi may plans talaga ako magtake.

Sabi nila, tatawagan na lang daw nila ako ulit this October. So syempre, naghintay ako kasi akala ko may chance pa. HAHAHAHA 😭

Kaya sa mga nurses diyan na nag-aapply din while planning to take the NCLEX, should we be honest ba talaga about our plans, or better na huwag na lang muna? 😭

Gets ko naman na baka ayaw nila mag-hire ng someone na aalis din eventually, pero as a newly licensed nurse, gusto ko rin naman magkaroon ng experience and opportunity to work.

Kayo ba? May naka-experience na rin ba ng ganito? Or baka naman ako lang talaga nag-ooverthink HAHAHAHAHA. 🥲

All About JOBS Contract signing timeline, probationary period, and employment bonds

Hello everyone!

Wala lang po kasi akong mapag tanungan about this, and since I'm a newly board passer, this will be my very first job bedside. HR told me that I got hired, and right now I'm just waiting for the orientation and training schedule.

However, I have a few questions and would love to hear your insights:

- Is contract signing usually done before training starts, or during?

- I was informed we have a 6-month probation. I’ve seen some posts online saying a lot of nurses don’t end up getting regularized even after 5 or 6 months. Is this really a normal occurrence in hospitals? I'm overthinking a bit because I saw some posts saying nurses sometimes don't get regularized just for being palatanong.

- I’m a bit confused about what a "bond" means, like 2-year bond stated in some contracts. How does it work? I know I should read carefully before signing, but may tips po ba kayo when reading the contract?

- Also some people say that if you don’t get regularized, the pro is may malalagay kang experience in your resume, but the con is future employers might ask why you weren't regularized, which could look bad.

Any advice or tips is appreciated.

Thank you!

hello, is there anyone who recently applied to CSMC and already got a job offer?

for context, i applied as a nurse. had a 9-month experience prior and have all the certifications needed. i had my final interview last Oct 23 (Friday) and HR said that they will be contacting me early next week (this week). it's already wednesday and im starting to feel anxious that i didnt get in.

i would have followed up but i think it's too early for that, might do it on friday so it'll be a week at least

so can i ask how your timeline looked like applying in CSMC?

The thing is I’m not from Bulacan, but from a province nearby. I am currently processing my NCLEX. Should i go for the examination? Or should i focus on NCLEX alone? (Funded naman by my father yung NCLEX ko pero wala monthly allowance in exchange). Pls pls i need advices po thank you 😭😭😭
