Celebrate with me⭐️🎂🥳

I had been planning on it for quite a while, but after quite a few people were outspoken about how a certain subreddit was poorly moderated, I finally broke down and made a new version of it.

Problem is, I've gotten 0 members (as far as I can tell) in 2 months. 1 post by 1 other person, and 1 comment by 1 other person. That's a total of 2 other people posting in the span of 2 months.

99% of the people who complained about the other subreddit? Completely silent.

I get it's a slightly niche subreddit, but I figured if it looked nice, had good moderation, and I promoted activity (which I slightly dropped the ball on I admit, but I only had 1 post when I was doing such) people would actually want to contribute and post. But all I hear are crickets.

It's just frustrating to put so much hard work into something... only for it all to be for naught. I'm not sure if I should just close down the subreddit or not, but I guess I'll keep it for now.

Anyhow, thanks for reading.

Im finding it difficult in getting visitors to my new group poeticape .

Please if anyone can make suggestions?

Thank you

I was an active contributor to r/Cupertino posting everything about the local high schools. Eventually the haters forced me to start my own reddit on r/fuhsd so I could create a positive, inclusive, welcoming community for all.

Any suggestions or tips on how to grow this targeted niche besides posting an announcement or invitation in r/Sunnyvale and r/Cupertino?

Hi there, warm greetings. Help me out to express people’s opinion.

Morning, new mod here 😁

Care to give any advise?

I just put up wiki for the subreddit I managed but only me and the other mods can see it. I don't know where the enable Wiki is found. The current permission is Use Subreddit wiki permission and show list of wiki

The automod edit page says "Heads up — Enforcement actions aren't available in automoderator."

The linked page (https://www.reddit.com/r/reddit.com/wiki/automoderator/full-documentation/) says

• action - A moderation action to perform on the item. Valid values are approve, remove, spam, filter, or report. filter is a unique action to AutoModerator, and will remove the post but keep it in the modqueue and unmoderated pages.

Those sound like "enforcement actions" to me. The word "enforcement" does not appear anywhere on the documentation page so this is confusing.

So what can I do with automod? Thanks.

I am curious to use it in my community r/Cringepolandballfans

My name Is Dragonslayer Ben, and I am posting about my recently created subreddit. Please feel free to join. As of today, the only moderator is me and I am happy to review your requests to apply for the job. Thank you and goodbye.

I have been wondering how people get the Moderator role on Discord and communities in general. I have been doing my research, and I have still got nothing. Does anyone know how to get those roles?
