Hello, i’m writing to see if anyone knows what I should do. I’m currently on academic probation with NAU. I couldn’t attend classes because of severe narcolepsy and disability recourses wouldn’t help me. This led to me being put on academic probation so I can’t withdraw from classes or fail. However, recently i’ve been in and out of the hospital due to complications from a concussion (narcolpesy made me fall asleep and hit my head) I can’t stand without passing out. I haven’t been able to attend classes or do any schoolwork because the screen hurts my head severely. Is there anyway I can medically withdraw from my classes and not get my financial aid taken away? Any advice is helpful.

hello all, i am looking into taking a break for spring semester due to a lot of life things going on (its been a HARD first semester of my freshman year). but next year i want to save as much money as possible. could anyone help point me in the right direction? im talking meal plan, on/off campus living, where to. get a job as a sophomore, should i take classes over the summer/during my break at my local cc, or just any general advice. and no, i really really dont wanna go to a community college somewhere else or coconino because living in flag is what i need right now (i need to be away from family). thanks so much in advance.

I'm planning on being Dante (DMC5 specifically) for Halloween but my paycheck wasn't able to cover ebony and ivory or a rebellion prop without cutting into essentials. I get paid again on the 30th but that's not enough time to get something delivered and processed before Halloween. It's a bit of a hail mary on here but I was wondering if there happened to be any DMC fans on campus that have props of rebellion and/or ebony and ivory that I could either borrow or buy. Also, if you know of a local place that I could buy something that looks similar enough, that would be useful too.

my kid finished her first year of college at NAU, but I can't find a letter or anything that "says" she did. can you show me what one looks like? or where I can request one? thanks!

Im trying to get out more, is there any parties or like things to do on Halloween, I know there’s frats but I heard they don’t let guys in so I’m not sure what to do and I’m not 21. But surely there’s house parties or something to do right?

Hi guys! I graduated from a different college last year, but I’ve since moved to Flagstaff and I’m looking to grow my photography portfolio and am offering free senior photography sessions!

If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to message me and we can chat 🤍

I am currently a freshman at NAU majoring in Visual communication with an emphasis in graphic design. I have an F in every single one of my classes (All around a 40 or so). I have no idea how it’s gotten to this point or what I should do. It’s week 9 of the fall semester, should I try to raise my grades or attempt to withdraw? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an English project. Can you guys talk about what issues you have with it and how it’s affected your quality of life? Especially if you live on campus and don‘t have a car. Has it made you late to class? How often do you use the bus, have you stopped using it all together after the change? Pls pls plsss I can’t fail

Our student movement is putting out a petition this semester and we're going to use it to leverage our policy requests when we lobby Congress at the end of next semester. We are so behind where we need to be. We're at 662 and we need to be at 800 minimum by November 1st when we need to submit it. This is our hail mary, please sign it, please please share it with friends. Check us out on instagram @ cac.nau if you wanna peep us. Thank you, I hope this gets views.

I’m a nursing major, and signed up for my pre-reqs for the spring semester, I am a freshman, and I know I need a certain amount of classes, right now I’m taking four, and there all science classes. This semester I’m taking 5 two of the classes that aren’t apart of my major which are the general studies. I know I have to take one more for the spring I just don’t know which one to take.

I just saw three cop cars outside and several officers entering the building.

I'm going to leave NAu I want to get rid of my scooter it doesn't have any bump just that I used it last year I sell it with a charger at 90$ any questions to the dm

Heyyyyyy y’all, could y’all spare a moment and do this little thing for my ENG-105.

I appreciate it very much

Hey everyone, I’m an NAU senior finishing up my capstone and desperately need data from AZ college students.

The survey takes less than 2 minutes and is completely anonymous. If you have a quick second to help a fellow student graduate, I would heavily appreciate it! 🙏🏿

Hello! I’m a pre-nursing student and preparing to apply for advancement in February. I’m starting to consider the GBSN program instead of staying in flag, but I would lose my scholarship so I’m still leaning more towards staying in flag. Can anyone that is currently or was located in phoenix for this program let me know how the clinical sites are and how they think they compare to the clinical sites for flagstaff students?

I applied to NAU probably starting September. This week (and today) I’ve received two emails saying I’m in, but when I check my application status it only says “application received.” Do I need to wait more time to see if I get accepted into the program I want?

I am strongly considering attending NAU next year and I am trying to determine if it's the right choice for me based on what they have to offer. What recommendations do y'all have for best dorm choice and meal plan? I'm not necessarily looking for the overall cheapest plans, just the ones that will make my life generally easier. Thanks!

Would anyone want to start a small group to practice improv? I know the improv club on campus meets every Friday, but I just want some more practice time to get better at it. DM me if interested so we can work out a time.

I need bio 320 to get into my program during my junior year. I literally open the website to enroll the literal second my appointment is, only to see all 107 seats are completely filled?? Dude what am I supposed to do now?? Im cooked.

I saw a robot on campus! Do they deliver food from on campus dining or only off campus dining?

Wanted to see if anyone had any experience with him as a professor. With the way the rest of my schedule works out, he would be my only option next semester for Differential Equations. Looking at his RMP, a lot of negative reviews come from MAT-136 and MAT-137 (seemingly every prof is like this) but the few for Diff Eq MAT-239 were quite positive. I'm not a math whiz or anything but if I practice enough and have a professor who can answer questions then I'll probably do alright.

I've been told Diff Eq is the sort of class where the professor and lecture can really make or break your understanding, so I just wanted to make sure I was making a good choice of if I should wait to see what's available in the fall. Thanks.

i’m a freshman and i really hate science, but i know for general studies i need a social science, natural science, and lab science.

what are some more science adjacent classes i could take that aren’t real work-intensive or too technical, but that still fit the general studies requirement?

i know there are some classes like IMG 260 (Creative Strategies for Designing Interactive Media) that fulfill social sciences methods, so i’m wondering if there’s anything else. kinda sucks that IMG 260 isn’t offered right now though.

i’m a freshman whose highest level of necessary math is MAT 114 (Quantitative Reasoning). i took algebra 2 honors for my junior year and then alg 3 with trig for my senior year in high school.

i looked on the course catalog and it says that you need MAT 100 or MAT 102X or a placement test score as a prerequisite, but could/should i take it with my existing knowledge?

(i didn’t realize until now that it had prereqs because the number was so low, but i hate math so i want to get it out of the way now.)
