Classes
I’m a nursing major, and signed up for my pre-reqs for the spring semester, I am a freshman, and I know I need a certain amount of classes, right now I’m taking four, and there all science classes. This semester I’m taking 5 two of the classes that aren’t apart of my major which are the general studies. I know I have to take one more for the spring I just don’t know which one to take.

if you’re already enrolled in 5 classes next semester then most likely that’ll be 15 credits unless some are labs. The base tuition that nau charges covers up to 16 credits a semester so if you happen to enroll in more than that (6 classes usually being 18 credits) you will have to pay extra per extra credit that exceeds the 16 limit. if you have fafsa that pays for majority or all of your tuition just plan on saving some extra money or taking out a loan to pay for excess credits—i think it’s around 1000 per credit? i’m not sure. for example if you’re enrolled in 18 credits you would pay for 2 excess credits ($2000) as a rough estimate

Ask your advisor. That’s what they’re there for :)
