I won against the scalpers and my cd arrived today! I wasn’t expecting it to be on the pepe side, but absolutely no complaints from me! I think I’m gonna try and save the hype sticker on the wrap too, just not sure how to go about it.

I don’t think we should be proud or joking about bullying a public establishment into a random pop up that was never supposed to exist. They’re literally just normal people trying to work at their day to day job, and we just made their job harder for the day.

The only one missing is bullets and I was wondering if they release an 25th anniversary in 2027.. like releasing one with a better audio quality like they did in three cheers. that would be awesome!

It was a crazy time to be an MCR fan. I'm sure you can all relate but just imagine; Being a lonely kid who feels like an outcast, finding a band with an explicitly anti suicide message who helps you find joy and gives you a reason to keep going... Only for the media to accuse them of being a genuine death cult, publicly blame them for the suicide of a child across the world and warning parents that "no child is safe"....

This article is a bit more balanced but other coverage would eventually lead to the Daily Mail protests in 2008.

It was a weird time for sure. Metalheads hated you for not liking "real music", Kids at school thought you were weird and the media thought you were in a cult.

Everybody was talking about MCR. Whether they loved or hated them. I always say that I could write an essay about the societal impact MCR had and sometimes I think that I really should!

But look how far we've come 20 years later... now it's cool to like MCR!

In 2009 I met Frank at a local venue called the crazy donkey. He was playing with Reggie and the full effect when he was in prime leathermouth mode. I have almost never met a kinder musician. He made sure my friends’ Reggie and the full effect fan gifts got to them and he loved a little Frankenstein doll my best friend made him. I’ll never forget how special I felt in class in 9th grade the day after I met him!

I met Frank and Mikey at Hot Topic Hollywood!

Frank has always been my favorite member so it was surreal meeting him. Im such a huge fan of his solo stuff and just him as a person in general hes fs a role model for me.

I told him how I planned on bringing my cd from home in case they showed up cause I had a feeling they would but i forgot it in the car (im serious i did) and he gave me a free CD and signed it!!

In his own words "I stole this one fair and square" 😭 He also signed my hat and complimented my Minor Threat shirt 🤘🤘 punk recognize punk 🤘🙂‍↕️

But yeah genuinely meant the world to meet Frank, I wish id had asked him more, but it whatever im glad I met him at all, hes a fuckin legend in my eyes.

Mikey was also INSANELY nice and signed my CD too, he started working the cashier register haha.

When he was signing my CD he accidentally wrote my name all shaky and then got down on his knee to make sure the rest wasnt all squiggly haha. Mikey is so sweet

But yeah anyways the both of them are so nice!!

Im such a big Frank fan I lowk talked and hung with him the whole time haha.

Also before I left I got a selfie with frank in front of the wall he drew on haha

This is probably my favorite vinyl variant I own a close second being the killjoy logos danger days reprint, my only complaints are I wish it wasn't an open air case because I had to add my own cover and now it dosent look cool because the flag is covered, and I wish it was the anniversary track list, but beside that this is incredible! The B side being the missile is the the cherry on top! my favorite part of the whole show has been the missile, hell I even went n got a tattoo of one lol

i had a question about costume policy for the Halloween show at the bowl ! i emailed the staff and wanted to share the response in case anyone else had the same question:)

Got here 20 minutes before the box office was supposed to open at 10am. Roughly 90 people in line and 10am came and went with some people folding and giving up after someone from the venue allegedly came out and said there was nothing going on.

Since im towards the back of the line I didn’t hear it myself. Looks like fans jumped the gun probably will bounce in the next 15 minutes.

It’s manufactured outrage wrapped up in and around an entire show about propaganda.

This is the first vinyl I have ever owned and it doesn’t look anything like the website advertised. The print is very faint and the rainbow effect only appears at sharp angles in bright lighting. I can’t find any sort of protective film or anything covering it. Is this a misprint or did I just fall for an inaccurate advertisement?

I’m so bummed. This album is so important to me and I loved the art as it was advertised. I literally don’t even own a record player yet, saving up for a good one but couldn’t miss out on this limited edition… just really disappointed :(

EDIT: Thanks all for the responses, I didn’t see Frank’s instagram video as I have been on a social media hiatus for a while now (had to redownload Reddit for this post lol) but I appreciate everyone’s replies and especially the kindness from so many of you. Like I said, this is the first vinyl I’ve ever owned, so I didn’t realize it wouldn’t look exactly as pictured. But I do feel a lot better about it now knowing that it’s supposed to be like this and it’ll look cooler when it’s playing :)
