Long story short — you don’t have to listen to them. They will try to tell you they have an “official” line but it is not associated with the venue and the venue does not honor it. They will try to tell you they have permission from the venue and security but they do not. Venues honor people who are physically in line. If you refuse to honor their unofficial line that does not matter, they will get a group of 20+ people to insult you, scream at you, and make you feel uncomfortable. This is not what true community is about. These people are disgusting groupies. The entire fanbase hates them.

My wife and I have went to half a dozen MCR concerts and the audience are always the most wholesome people to interact with. These people are a shit stain on the community. Either cut them (ignore their fake number system) or go to a different line where the real fans are. I promise you will have a MUCH better time if you ignore these people. They don’t share trinkets, gifts, or anything. Just bad vibes because they think they have a shot with the band members by riding the rail. Gerard hates you groupies — he’s said it many, many times, but they’re all fake fans so I don’t expect them to know that.

You really do not need to listen to these antisocial weirdos. Everyone hates them.

Why hype up a UK “tour” to only announce one date in London?? What about those of us who live in the north?? It would be cheaper to get a flight to somewhere in the EU than travel to London, plus the entirety of the UK now has to fight for tickets to two shows. So, as we know, it seems likely the band is gonna do SOME type of signing at the LA Hot Topic. And yeah, I’m happy for everyone who lives there and gets to go to the pop up, if not get things signed. But as someone from north Jersey, it‘s kinda pissing me off how they never do anything special here. You know, where they came from?

And yes, *I know* that LA gets all the important and cool stuff cause along with NYC, Hollywood’s basically the face of the US and 3/4 them live there now. But it kinda feels like they’re neglecting their origin.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE GOT: NANANA, HELENA, IM NOT OKAY, SCARECROW, SUMMERTIME, ZERO PERCENT (LIVE DEBUT TOO), THE GHOST OF YOU AND DEMOLITION LOVERS TO FINISH IT ALL OFF (almost cried because it quite literally is one of my fav mcr songs of all time and the break with our lights up was biblical)

Fucking hell, I'm sorry but I'm not going to pay over 900 dollars (gas tickets and probably hidden fees because people suck ass) to see MCR play The Black Parade again, don't get me wrong it's a good album but not worth $900 dollars

Both Evanescence & MCR were absolutely unreal. These two bands introduced me to the scene over 20 years ago, and I’ve been to so many shows over the years, but this was my first time for either of them. Flew in from Chicago because it was such an iconic pairing. The crowd was also so unified. Fantastic night overall!

I am getting married at a HIGHLY My Chemical Romance themed ceremony on Halloween in Michigan (right in the centre of the mitten.) MCR. EVERYWHERE. I even have fake roses based on the “Helena” video.

My family frankly suck and have not been invited as they suck. My Irish friends, as of yesterday, have all had their visas denied (long story, don’t ask.) My side is my Ma and tumbleweed. You guys have always been family since I’ve been a fan since 2003 and we look after each other and always have.

I have 27 empty seats and epic favours and decor (example: The entrance sign says “Come one, come all, to this tragic affair.”) 18+ only because of venue policy - two words: “OPEN BAR”. I figure 18 is old enough to pass.

Dress code: “The most inappropriate thing you could wear to a wedding, except the obvious wedding dress, unless yours is truly awful or your husband is wearing it.” We are talking the kind of thing you would have the cops called on you for if you wore in public. Please not MCR themed, I don’t want 28 Gerards or Helenas. My 70 year old Ma is wearing a steel boned corset with a flared Pride skirt and fishnets. That’s just one example here.

If you feel especially mad, volunteer as a bridesmaid, whether you’re a dude, NB, or girl (mine dipped to go drop acid at a rave in Chicago instead 🙄 thanks “friends”) Bridesmaids are to be sent thrifting to find the absolute worst bridesmaid dress the 80s ever vomited forth, turn up in it, and the worst wins a really cool prize!

Most music will be MCR. The first dance is MCR. The colours are MCR. We are playing the entirety of “The Black Parade.” There are highly inappropriate games. The whole of my fiancé’s family are epic. You CANNOT miss this (but please don’t DM (in which more details will be given) saying you’re coming unless you are, I don’t need unexpected tumbleweed…) Mosh. Dance like lunatics. Go nuts with your makeup. Full Bowie, whatever. Anything. It’s MEANT to be inappropriate!

I went to the phx show last night and I was on the floor. If you are on the floor dont stand on your seats it ruins the whole experience for people behind you. There was 3 people infront of us who all decided it was a smart idea to stand on the chairs blocking the entire view for us and people behind us. Everyone’s mood dropped. Some dude next to me asked them to get down then a few songs later they got back up. They didnt care about anyones view but their own. I couldnt see anything for the last few songs so if anyone has videos that would be amazing tysm.

Me and my partner are going to the black parade concert in Tampa, I’m super excited, but I can’t figure out the outfit. Earlier this year at comic con we dressed as the demolition lovers. I talked to my partner about wearing these costumes at the concert but he said it wouldn’t be appropriate because it’s technically the wrong album. What do you guys think??

Hi everyone, I hope I find some comfort with you fellow fans. I went to Madrid's concert with my childhood best friend and it was amazing, we had a great time.

But afterwards, I was so tired, almost no battery on my phone and no reception even while walking away from Iberdrola Music.

My friend had a different hotel than mine. She was with 5 friends of hers. I was alone in my hotel. I asked them please please please to not leave alone. To arrive all together at Madrid Center and then take different cabs. I'm autistic and have a really bad time handling stress. They ordered me an Uber and then left with theirs. My Uber never came. I was sitting on the floor for one hour, made new friends on the street, cried so much with them and finally they paid and accompanied me to my hotel before riding the cab to their own destination. They were super kind and finally I was safe in my room.

I can't even talk to my childhood friend now, I don't feel good about all that's happened. I don't want this night to ruin my friendship, MCR, the memories... What should I do? Should I meet her alone and talk? Just let it go? Focus on my recorded videos as soon as I arrive in my city? My friends ask me about the concert and I just don't want to talk about it.

I have never seen mcr live ever but it was easily one of the best gigs I went to!!

The black parade was amazing, I loved the story and the characters and seeing the songs live was a truly amazing experience!!! The visuals and the fire was epic too!! Overall an amazing first half!

The second half I was so pleased as they played 2 songs I really wanted to see live: ghost of you and our lady of sorrows! They also did ambulance for the first time live, na na na na na na, hang em high, I’m not ok, Helena and vampires will never hurt you!!

The whole time Gerard was so silly and he was a great entertainer and I took so many “amazing” pics of him.. “what is a spice bag I guess we’ll never know” (it was an item on a menu from one of the food vans)

I was so glad as I got a good standing spot and could see which was lucky and everyone seemed to have an amazing time, my voice is hoarse now lol😅😅

Update: mom gave her ticket to a front desk employee at the hotel who's a HUGE fan, so much so that she kept her maiden name because her initials are also MCR 😁. She wanted to go but couldn't justify the expense. So that's good! Anyways, long-ass original long shot post below:

8 months of planning, $1K+ spent on incredible seats with her mom and sister, all flying from different corners of the country.

My Chemical Romance and Pierce the Veil are two of her fave bands. Seeing them on one stage in one night was a dream scenario.

Then COVID hit this week out of nowhere, completely taking her out of commission. Aches, fever, cold sweats, exhaustion, headaches...it's brutal.

She is completely gutted. They were gonna make a full girls weekend out of it with tattoo and massage appointments, the whole nine. It was perfect!

Her mom and sister are still going, and giving her ticket away for free to an unsuspecting, lucky person in Nashville, because that's just how she and her fam roll ❤️. But she has to stay home because she's way too sick to go and she doesn't want to infect anyone else.

So, it completely sucks for my sweet wife. To anyone in the MCR or PTV crew, management or venue team browsing Reddit: any chance to get a 5-second well-wish video from someone in the band? Or a shout out or signed set list or something? It would really help turn a nightmare scenario into something she'd truly treasure.
