Question β Near death experience
Is there any explanation for NDE from an Islamic perspective. Though scientific explanation for this is primarily lack of oxygen to brain,as believers is there anything beyond such theory?I saw many western people testimonials about NDE having seen Jesus and some of them turning religious. Has any muslim have had similar experience?

Question β Why no 'Brothers only' and 'Inspirational Muslim' flair here?
Just as the title implies. In this sub we have 'Sisters only' and 'Inspirational Muslimah' flair, but no male counterparts? It seems kinda hyper to me. Both genders deserve their own spaces, both deserve respect. There should a flair for male only problems and advices.

Assalamu alaikum! I'm Wang, founder of NoorConnect, a salah-learning app for iOS and Android. We're opening a first wave of 30β50 testers (more waves will follow after we fix the first round of bugs).
What you'll do: download the official released app and use it naturally with your daily prayers over about 20 days, following a short daily task list (one small task per day, covering different features). No fixed 1-hour requirement β just use it honestly and tell us what worked and what didn't.
Download the official app here:
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6759036929
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noorconnect.nc
How testing works: after you sign up, we'll send you a personal test sheet (only you and we can see it). Check in each day after you finish the task, and log any bug or issue there with a screenshot.
What you'll submit: one complete feedback report at the end, using your personal sheet: device model + OS version + app version, screenshots of any bug, anything confusing, any content issue, and a short rating.
Thank-you gift: a 10,000mAh PD 20W power bank, shipping covered by us, OR an equivalent gift card (Amazon or PayPal) if power-bank shipping to your region is restricted. Available in Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand. To receive the gift, complete the daily check-ins in your personal sheet and submit the complete final report. This gift is for your time and detailed feedback, whether positive or negative. Quran/Hadith π The Illusion of the "Self-Made": The Story of Qarun
Is wealth a sign of success or a hidden test? In this deep dive, we explore the story of Qarun, one of the most enigmatic figures in history, to uncover the dangerous illusion of the "Self-Made" man.
Drawing from the most authoritative Islamic sources, including the Tafsir of Al-Tabari and Al-Qurtubi, and the historical accounts of Ibn al-Athir in "Al-Kamil fi al-Tariqh," we analyze the intersection of wealth, pride, and divine justice.
In this video, we discuss:
- Who was Qarun and what was the source of his wealth?
- The psychology of pride: When knowledge becomes a veil.
- The Wisdom of Inequality: Why does God create the rich and the poor?
- Wealth in Islam: A tool for growth or a means of destruction?
Whether you are seeking a deeper understanding of the Quranic narratives or looking for a philosophical perspective on wealth and trial, this video provides a comprehensive analysis based on classical scholarship and contemporary insights.

Media π¬ Doctor K explains nafs perfectly
I have watched a lot of doctor K's videos if you don't know him, he is a licenced therapist and in this video he explained that the mind is different from YOU and the mind wants a lot of things, good things, bad things but YOU judge and choose the things to do.
And what you need to do is to train your mind, basically reject it when it wants to hurt you and over time it will learn that you are in control and it will become submissive towards you.
I'm not 100% sure but this has been my understanding of the nafs for as long as I know, this was just crazy how he is explaining the things we already know, everywhere you look you'll see that islam is the truth

Question β How do you keep up istighfar on long work days?
Assalamu alaikum. I work on a laptop all day and realised I could go hours without a single Astaghfirullah. The Prophet ο·Ί sought forgiveness more than seventy times a day (Sahih al-Bukhari 6307).
What actually works for you? Tying it to salah, a tasbih on the desk, phone reminders?
i tried all i have a tasbih too but during work its just difficult
For me, I ended up building a small reminder that pops up on my laptop chrome like a beautiful mist very silent . Happy to share it if anyone wants it, but Iβm mostly curious what works for others.

Dua & Advice π€²πΏ May Allah reward you all for supplicating for me.

Question β What Is One Islamic Reminder That Has Changed the Way You See Life?
Sometimes, a simple reminder from Islam can change how we deal with difficult situations.
For me, one of the most meaningful lessons is that patience does not mean giving up. It means continuing to do your best while trusting Allah, even when things do not happen the way you hoped.
Life brings uncertainty, disappointment and moments when we struggle to understand why things happen. During those times, remembering Allah can help us find perspective and keep moving forward.
What is one Islamic teaching, ayah from the Qur'an, or reminder that has helped you through a difficult time? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Dua & Advice π€²πΏ Please Make Duβa for My Stepfatherβs Grandmother Who Passed Away
Assalamualaikum everyone. My stepfatherβs grandmother recently passed away. I kindly ask you to make duβa for her.
May Allah forgive her sins, shower her with His immense mercy, illuminate and expand her grave, protect her from the punishment of the grave and the Hellfire, accept her good deeds, and grant her Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah also grant my stepfather and his family patience, strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.
Jazakum Allahu Khayran for keeping her in your prayers. Ameen.
