question/need help Miscarriage 7 weeks 2 days not viable??
I am fairly certain I’m having a miscarriage as I’ve been cramping since Friday and was bleeding and cramping pretty profusely yesterday. Yesterday was 7w2d and I went to the ER to have an ultrasound (I waited 6 hours for this btw). According to my labs and the ultrasound, it appears I’m having a miscarriage and that what they could see didn’t look like anything viable. However, the DR said it COULD be viable still? He said, “since you’re so early, it’s kind of hard to tell. However, from the ultrasound POV you are appearing to have a miscarriage as whatever is in there doesn’t really look like it’s forming into anything.” He told me to wait and pass the miscarriage naturally but then was like well I mean it could be viable, you never know.
What the heck does this mean? Am I having a miscarriage or not?? I’m in limbo and pissed off.

Doesn't sound good. I went in last week suspecting a miscarriage, they said the findings were "concerning for miscarriage ". Had to have follow up hcg testing and ultrasound before they would confirm the miscarriage or i suppose missed miscarriage. I will say I found out at 9w6d, I've heard sometimes closer to 6 weeks the dating can be off. Maybe that could be the case for you. Was it a transvaginal ultrasound?

I’m so sorry you are going through this. The non answers and limbo area is the fucking worst. I’ve been there all weekend.
The one thing that finally helped me was calling OB and demanding blood work to check hCG levels. That’s how I learned I officially miscarried through a MyChart message.
I’m very sorry and wishing you luck ❤️
