experience: more than one loss Beyond devastated
I’m 33 and I’ve been pregnant 3 times in the past 12 months.
My first lasted until 10w and passed due to t21. I then had an ectopic a month later and lost a tube. 6 months later I got pregnant again, and we just found out yesterday that this one doesn’t have a heart beat and passed at 7 weeks. I’m 8 weeks.
I don’t know what’s wrong with me or my body. I don’t know what to do from here. I’m just so beyond dead inside. I feel like there’s no hope.

I’ve had about 6 myself (mix of chemicals and further along).
I talked to my doctors to put me on a kitchen sink protocol to make the environment as ideal as possible.
Sorry you’re going through this. Wish you luck ❤️

Thank you for your reply. I'm so sorry you've been through that. It makes me feel less alone, and I hope you have brighter days ahead <3

I’m so sorry. You’re so not alone. I miscarried my twins at 10 weeks in late December of last year. We’re pregnant again at 7 weeks and early ultrasound is pointing to a blighted ovum. I have had a couple chemical pregnancies since then as well. It’s wildly unfair and painful. And it just makes you want to stop putting yourself through it.

I'm so sorry you've been through that. It is entirely unfair and you don't deserve to go through this. Hoping that you have brighter days ahead <3

First of all hugs! You may not be ready to hear this now but it doesn’t sound like anything is wrong with you or your body. First one has a chromosomal error which starts to become more common as we age, second one was a fluke and the third one you don’t get know. But they start getting concerned when you miscarry healthy pregnancies. So for those touting progesterone or other types of things that would certainly have not helped for your first two for sure and I don’t think people quite underhand how progesterone works but you didn’t do anything wrong nor should you feel bad that there is something more you could have done. Best thing to do next is to be kind to yourself and when you are ready to fo a recurrent loss panel where they can verify that everything is good and most likely you won’t find any problems but if you do then you can work around that. Also if you are in a country that pays for this or you have the means and really want to get to a live healthy pregnancy as soon as possible then IVF with pgt teared embryos is the fastest way but obviously not an option for everyone.you are still young and you def have options. I just experienced a complete molar pregnancy and I know how easy it is to spiral but you are ok and will be ok

thank you for this reply. I feel like my case is so complex and I appreciate you addressing how different all my pregnancy losses have been. I truly don't know how to proceed because they are all so different. And I agree, I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with my body. It would almost be better if they were all the same type of loss so I could make sense of it. I'm afraid to try again. But I guess I will. I don't feel young, but thank you for saying so. I never wanted to start having babies at 33, but I can't turn back time so it kinda makes me feel old. It sucks because my friend just got pregnant and of course everything is fine with hers. I feel so defective right now.

You are definitely not defective. I think you need to be very kind to yourself and take some time to grieve. It’s very hard and very sad for sure and when you are ready to move forward, you will take one step at a time.

I’m so sorry. I’ve been pregnant three times this year too. The first two were chemicals, and I just had a D&C 10 days ago at almost 11 weeks because the third one ended up being a blighted ovum. I did have unmanaged Hashimoto’s thyroiditis that is now being managed with meds, and my OB thinks that may be related to the first two. I only discovered it because of bloodwork I got when it was confirmed I would lose the first one.
If we conceive again, my OB is going to start me on progesterone and baby aspirin right away. I’m also going to push for APS and genetic testing at my D&C follow-up.

6th miscarriage with the recent one being over 3 months. The last one was due to a med error.
We discovered our miscarriages are due to low progesterone. I take 400ng every 12 hours for 3 months. I suggest testing for endometriTIS which can create constant miscarriages.
You’ll be fine, it’s not easy but you’ll be fine. Trust me❤️ your baby is coming. Don’t lose hope, keep your goal in mind and stay focused but always take the time to heal.
