Title, the discord has been compromised and they have gained Administrative access. Unsure on what they can do to recover but highly suggest avoiding the server until someone announces somewhere that it's fixed!

Since some variants got changes that weren't listed in the patch notes, I re-extracted all the data from the mod editor and compared it with the previous version. The table lists every chassis that changed and how its values differ. My mw-builder web is up to date now!

Why does a tier 5 heavy rifle do more damage per shot than a clan gauss? Aren’t rifles supposed to be primitive weapons?

has anyone had the clans hire mercs on you? this is happening in the start of the clan invasion (many of the clans are still unknown), but they're doing something that i'm pretty sure they wouldn't. they were the grey death legion, if that matters

also using this to hate on the merc drop system landing a lance of shadowhawks on my half dead lance and blowing up my orion-yaj.

I don’t have anything besides heroes of the inner sphere yet but I recently got to the stage in the game where clan tech occasionally spawns in shops and enemies on higher difficulties sometimes have it.

Then I ran into a FLEA with medium clan lasers and it put my atlas’s leg armor almost in the red.

Are there any significant armor upgrades later on or is everything just super fragile during the endgame?

Title, after today's update i was like "Oh cool, now i can make a laser blast bullshark and the RCX longbow Is also strong and-" then i realized hunchbacks, centurions and specially the Centurion AL now have 0.8 internal cooling

Did they alway have that? I remember they had 1.0 cooling... This may affect the effectiveness of the Discoback, just a little tho

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I was chuffed to bits when I found out my reliable old Archer-5CS got shadow buffed. I'm also pleased to see the Urbie-AIV getting buffed. I'm just trying to pin down the rhyme/reason some mechs got the buff, and some didn't.

Like the KGC-001, MAD-5CS, and RFL-5CS. Both the clanbuster Archer and Black Knight got the buff; why didn't the rest of the Clanbusters get it?

This also plays into another question I have; IS Omnimechs: Why does the Perseus and Blackjack omni only get 5 Cantina upgrade slots, when the standard for omnis thus far has been 6? It's not the like the Perseus is gonna top the Night Gyr for 75 ton mini-Assault. And while the Blackjack omni is extremely enticing, literally any Clan medium already stands head shoulders over it without the extra upgrade point.

I'm legitimately hoping this is just round one of the upgrades, and we'll see more in the future. I'm also hoping to see hitbox fixes for the MAD-IIC, Executioner, and Bushwacker.

With all the chatter about the new patch I was just wondering this point.

I'm playing completely vanilla. And my technical/historical knowledge about some of this is really low.

Why do some mechs have bonus engine heat sink slots that only take up one slot each?

I keep reading about how installed engines have these dedicated heat sinks already included to get them to default 1.0 cooling (or whatever is the default for that chassis). So why are there extra slots in some chassis? Why don't all include these extra ones?

I've been playing since it first dropped on PS5. 680 hrs in and 8, 9, 10 ( who knows how many runs now ) and have yet to find a Boars Head or Carapace. 3080s on the current run and probably a Billion in cbills spent running laps around trying to find it. What is the best spots for them to spawn? It's the last two I need for my hero assault lance.

How about the new IS mechs? I have a Blackhawk ku but not the Perseus or new BJ, are they rare mechs only or do they show up in missions too?

If I'm on console, what are my options? Regularly quitting and restarting the game after every hour or so to "reset" the RAM? Clearing my console's cache?

Currently playing on XBox with all DLC.

Every time a new DLC is released I make sure to collect a copy of every single mech. Since A&A was released, I'm missing mechs from HotIS and even some from the base game in my database. (The Cataphract 3D, notably, which is a variant I don't remember from before)

Did A&A add mechs for the base game and other DLC? Is this a bug? I'm positive that my database was full from a New Game+ career mode when I started my current run.

Is it mathematically possible to have maximum reputation (honored) with every faction in the game?

Your reputation with a given faction rises after you've hit the green bar, so you can "stock up" on reputation with a faction, but I don't know if reputation decreases just as fast as it rises.

So I play with controller, but a controller with extra buttons bound to keyboard keys. So center legs under torso I have bound to C on my left middle finger. Which works fine in most cases. But the problem I'm having is that any input on the left joystick that isn't straight up will override the legs centering, and in the heat of battle it's really easy to accidentally shift the joystick making the center legs button functionally useless.

Is there a way to force the game to ignore leg rotation inputs while centering legs until the legs finish the centering movement?

Well this i saw today when i Loaded into MechWarrior. After a little research, I found out that my YAML Version is maybe outdated. So I hope the download of the new Version helps. Anyways, it's quite weird and fun to see that.

So I’ve started a new career run but I have Goblin saved on my roster from a previous career.

I put Kobold in cold storage.

I’m at reputation 6-7 now and primarily in Federated Suns space, occasionally moving in and out of Draconis Combine space, and I’m not getting the transmission where Goblin asks to join my lance.

Is he not supposed to ask to join, or does already having Goblin keep that transmission from activating?

Same question regarding the pilot Shenzeng. I have him from a previous save, so does this mean I won’t get his quest again, the one where I free him from captivity in pirate hands?

Like the title says- what are your favorite (Vanilla) spotter mechs, load outs and Cantina upgrades?

I've been defaulting to an FS9-S1 w/TAG, but in a more utility type config ,not so much a dedicated Arty/ Airstrike spotter (kinda dual use spotter/ and filling out the light lance in arena fights in an effort to keep some slots free in the mech bay).
