Growing We sell in a couple a states and customers keep asking why the same product is different in each one
I rep a small brand that's in a couple of markets, we've been at it for a while. The same question keeps coming up from customers who do a lot of interstate travel: why are the products different everywhere. They bought our flower in one state, loved it, picked it up in another and it wasn't the same.
They're right, though. Each state has its own grow and its own lab results in my experience. We try to keep it as consistent as possible but even the packaging has to be slightly different because nothing can cross state lines. Same name, different plant inside. Not everyone gets the legislative side behind this and I feel like we haven't been able to explain this well to our customers in the packaging and product itself.
Any brand peeps handling this? Any customers want to share what they want to know upfront to show that it's a different grow? Thanks so much.
