Need Help with Eyeshadow Palette
Does anybody have any recommendations for a pink eye shadow palette? I've obviously looked it up but I wanna know if anybody has any positive experiences with one in particular

My wife and I are getting each other 1 gift this Christmas. She had mentioned a few months ago that she wished she had “actual good makeup”, and I want to give her that for Christmas, I just don’t know where to start/don’t want to get scammed by advertising for mediocre products.
Would anyone be able to give me some leads to go off of? Thank you so much

Hi folks,
I've decided to do my own makeup for my wedding, which is in around 7 months, and I'm starting the process of truly learning how to do makeup. I am by no means a beginner, but I definitely have a lot to learn, and I have a couple of asks:
1. What are the best modern makeup tutorials that you're watching now, from someone who really goes over the techniques of makeup and why they do certain things?
2. The celebrity lookalikes I've gotten in the past are Uma Thurman, Emma Stone, and Anya Taylor-Joy. I have very apple cheeks, which is why I think I get these. What makeup style do you think looks best on their face shape? For reference, I actually have brown hair.
Thanks!

Hey guys, I have a water based primer and an oil based rhode bronzer, is it okay if I let my water based primer settle a bit/ dry down and then put my bronzer over it? Or will this cause pilling/patchiness?

Why do you buy mini makeup items: for travel, to try before committing to the full size, or to spend less upfront?
I rarely am actually looking for a mini version for travel and typically just saw it in store or online and it piqued my interest before checking out. What about you?
Also curious what products you go for minis vs full size.

I’m in my early 30s and have always been bothered by the shadows under my eyes. I’ve been thinking about trying a bit of makeup to make them less obvious, but I’d really prefer that nobody could tell I was wearing anything. Is it possible to achieve this, particularly in natural daylight or when someone is close to you? Any advice on products or how to apply them would be appreciated!

A look can seem balanced by a window and much stronger under warm evening lights. When you're planning makeup for a particular place, do you judge it in that lighting first, or aim for something that works across both? Curious which adjustment you make first: color, placement, or intensity.

Hi, I bought the L'Oreal Extensionist mascara recently, and it's really good. But at the time of buying I didn't know they test on animals, and all my makeup is cruelty free. I've tried searching on TikTok and google, but I can't seem to find a good cruelty free mascara that will have the same effect.

For anyone who’s done Halloween or character makeup: what looked great at home but became a problem a few hours later?
Black lipstick disappearing after a drink? Face paint transferring onto your costume? A white base cracking when you smiled?
What happened, and what would you do differently next time? Technique tips are just as welcome as product recommendations.

How did y'all decide that you were at a point in your skincare that you didn't need foundation anymore? I've spent $$$ playing around with different brands, coverages, tones and none of them have hit the mark. But also I'm probably at a point with my skincare routines that I could probably ditch foundation completely and just spot with concealer. Or just use my light sheer SPF? What do you guys think?

girlie on a budget here. i'm planning to buy a contour highlight palette but i don't know which one is better. as for the price, jmcy is cheaper than cloud beauty but i wanna focus on the quality of the product itself. so, which one is better in terms of performance? 🥹

So I use powder on my eyebrows and I prefer that over like a pencil because I feel like I have more control. I started using eyebrow gel and I like how it shapes my face when I stroke the hairs up and it sticks. The problem is that the powder bleeds into my skin when applying the gel. Do I use powder first and do the gel or gel first & then apply powder? Or do I eventually need to switch to a pencil? SOS lol helppp. 😭

If I were to do a costume for Terminator for Halloween and to use makeup where the exposed metal would be what kind of makeup can anyone recommend?

My eyes are insanely hooded, like you can’t see the lower lid in the middle of my eye at all, you can a slight sliver at the ends of my eye, and that’s it. But I love eyeshadow looks, esp, with my face paint, but all of the eye shadow tuts for hooded eyes don’t work out for me because they all have atleast a tiny bit of space above the eye while I don’t. ☹️
If you have eyes like this plz tell how u do it, or like send tuts u use or smthn.

I’m looking for good contour and bronzer recommendations! I’m open to both high-end and affordable options, and I don’t mind whether they’re cream, liquid, or powder. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Hello everybody!!
I was just looking for some recommendations (preferably drugstore) for cool toned contours or bronzers. I'm quite fair skinned and everything I've used (such as the elf halo glow contour in fair/light which I'm currently using) pulls way too orange on me.
I wear shade fair rose in the elf hydrating camo concealer, just for reference of my skin tone.
Thanks for all the help in advance! :3

Hey Guys
With the recent Sephora sale coming up I just want to buy products that I would use on a daily basis rather than trying to hoard makeup so please give your opinions.
For reference I am light-medium toned girly with dark hair and prefer a minimal look.
Products-
1. One size Powder Melting Spray
2. Charlotte Tilbury Concealer
3. Huda Beauty Lip Stain
4. Kulfi lip staining mousse
5. Dior Highlighter palette in shade Icy Rosy Glow
Also any suggestions on a good natural looking skin tint would be really appreciated.

I enjoy wearing makeup but my daily routine is very minimal and I try not to buy too many new products so I can actually use up what I have. But I also have ADHD and love to spontaneously play with colours or experiment with fun patterns. I just don't want to necessarily wear them all the time.
Is there such thing as a colourful palette where you can mix different colours for the eyes and face and lips? Something I can mix my own colours with and try interesting lip colours or eyeshadows or patterns without breaking the bank on a hundred products I won't get much regular use out of?

i have doing makeup for a year or two and i have tried so many products, so many methods, and my makeup genuinely doesn’t last. i’ve tried to copy makeup tutorials exactly and it never last. i’ve tried so many things and nothing works and i don’t understand why. i do sweat a lot and for a long time i figured i was just sweating it off but now thats its winter im still facing the same isssue. i have already tried all the popular setting sprays, primers and powders. if anyone has any niche tips i would genuinely appreciate it. i think it would help if i could send a video of exactly what i do to see where i go wrong

Hi! I am just a broke student and would love any codes you can spare, I just want to treat myself while keeping up with loans. I will be so grateful for any code you can send out. Thank you so much! 🙏🙏

My under eyes have always been this dark, I usuallt use the huda beauty color corrector in the shade cherry blossom then I top it with a concealer (hourglass in the shade creme)
What am J doing wrong? They still appear super dark
