The crossover so obvious it barely counts. This piece was done as a commission for the upcoming issue 4 of the Secretpassages Magazine, to accompany an article on the amazing (and still kicking) Games Workshop tabletop game Gorkamorka - which is basically MadMax with orks!

I just watched MM:BT again, and something struck me: lots of sources give Ironbar's last name as Bassey, but is this actually canon? He's credited only as "Ironbar" and I don't think anybody says "Bassey" at any point in the movie.

(As an aside, despite the fact that BT is something of a mess, it's fun to watch it and notice how many visual elements are echoed in other movies. For example, when Savannah Nix first appears with her spear/staff things, my first thought was of the Crow Fishers and their stilts; and the Collector wears a round decorative thing over his crotch, like Immortan Joe.)

You can definitely feel that it had a much lower budget compared to other films. What really left a strong impression on me in Mad Max 1 was its collapsing society setting. Also, I’m so bummed that we won’t get to see Toecutter anymore.

I really love how the melee system works in the game and I wanna know if any other games have this

Everyone kept saying Mad Max 1 is that good, so I just bought it. I'll drop a review once I watch it.

The Mad Max movies I've seen so far are 2, Beyond Thunderdome, Fury Road, and Furiosa, mostly because I really love the wasteland setting. Do you think I'd still enjoy the original Mad Max?

Came across this game while looking for something new to play, never knew it existed. The full title is "Simple 2000 Series Vol. 112 – The Tousou Highway 2 – Road Warrior 2050" for anyone that wants to seek it out and give it a go.

Honestly, it just felt way too elusive for me.. I couldn't really wrap my head around it. Part of me couldn't help thinking George Miller clearly had so much he wanted to do.

Here's another one with a bigger map, showing a post-apocalyptic shipyard. The game itself has a pretty steep learning curve but ultimately a blast to play. You can use wheels, tracks, hovers, mechanical legs and combine them with machine guns, shotguns, rockets, mines, the combinations are almost endless. Enjoy!

I keep seeing posts from different games. This is one I play called Crossout. It has to be based on Mad Max because it is post-apocalyptic setting and all vehicle based. You can build your own vehicles from the frame up and then battle against other players or npc's. Hope this is ok.

Dunno why there isn't a 1:64 scale one of these yet 😔

I've been hearing rumors that a Mad Max TV series might be in the works. Is there any truth to this?

I really enjoyed Furiosa, but since it underperformed at the box office, I was genuinely worried we might not get another installment in the franchise. I really hope this rumor turns out to be true.
