She comes in and just tries to completely bulldoze over everyone else. I swear the way they feel the need to write her as always the most virtuous and smartest person in the room gets so annoying and it makes everyone else around seem like little kids

And just comparing how the detectives are with their bosses on L&O to svu feels so different. In L&O it feels like everyone is equal but brady is still their boss, but in svu it feels like everyone has to bow down to Olivia

I don’t know if it’s how she was written, if it’s the actress overly strong features that didnt make her relatable or likeable, if it’s the transition from Novak to her, I don’t know but she just didn’t leave a mark, what a waste though because Michaela Mcmanus seems like a good actress.

Florek, 76, says he still does not understand the choice to write him off the show

“That was kind of a surprise, out of the blue,” he admitted.

Florek said he didn’t know the character’s death was in the works and was surprised because, “I had been doing a number of guest spots with Chris Meloni on Organized Crime. I thought we were discovering a whole new side of the character, that he could be less buttoned down out of the squad room, and just a whole other side of him and his personality.”

The actor was “stunned” when he got the call. “And I said, ‘Well, do you want to hear what I have to say?’ And they didn’t really. They felt it was a necessary thing for them that I still quite don’t understand.”

What are times throughout law and order SVU where you were against Olivia and Elliot And the other detectives and Casey Novak and we’re rooting for the suspects that they were going after whether is was because of how great the actor is or the suspect was and they going after the wrong person.

I know this probably wouldn’t have happened, but I would’ve loved to have seen Iwan Rheon who played Ramsey Bolton in Game of Thrones play a serial killer in Law and Order SVU or CI I think it would’ve been very interesting to see.
