So my system specifications for my Dell laptop are

i3-7020u 2.30 Ghz

8gb 2667 Mhz

Intel HD 620

256gb SSD

So id like to extend the lifespan of this laptop by installing Kubuntu.

But I'm not sure if I should go ahead with the 26.04 LTS version or 26.10

My goal is just browsing n payments, ppt, word, some movies,

And maybe some emulation and some ros2.

I recently dual booted with kubuntu and win 11 & initially it worked well and everything was fine but today suddenly whenever I connect my headphones it immediately disconnects and switches to normal stereo audio after 5 secs I've tried all types of fixes and commands(I'm new to linux too so not helping 😭) and I've tried figuring it out with claude but nothing works pls help me !!!
