Following up on the last post we are going to be taking a look at reverse holos. As you can see from photos 1&2 the holos is perfected. It’s dynamic, has the same reflection and there is zero difference in either the fake or the real one. I will share a video so you can have a better understanding. So let’s look at the identifiable issues:

Photo 3: evolution box is still pixelated/fuzzy. Text above the box is the wrong boldness.

Photo 4: energy issues, the fakes colorless energies are missing the shadows as well as the water energies. The fire energies have a white dot instead of a shadow. Scary noticeable difference is the FAKE has BETTER print quality, and the REAL cards energies have more pixelation.

Photo 5: Charizard is a slightly lower print quality and is lighter in color, however given sunfading and print runs, would highly recommend focusing on other parts of the card rather than how light or dark Charizard is.

Photo 6: Back is better than the CD promos but still lower quality than a real one, color variation is slight.

Photo 7: black core is visible on the fake where the real one the core is hidden, same as the CD Promos

Ik heb wat japanse bulkkaarten verkocht via marktplaats.

Ik heb er nog meer kaarten.

Maar ik kreeg in de loop van de middag een berichtje dat ze allemaal nep waren. Een deel van mijn kaarten heb ik vanuit gekochte bulk en een deel heb ik geript.

Ik heb wat gegoogled en krijg heel veel tegenstrijdige geluiden.

Ik hoop dat iemand mij kan helpen.

Ik wil diegene prima zijn geld terug geven maar moet.ik wel zeker zijn dat ze nep zijn en daarbij verscheur ik en gooi ik mijn anderen kaarten ook weg dan..

Ik heb wat fotos toegevoegd welke de koper heeft gestuurd.

Recently returned to the hobby <6 months and still learning about all the new telltale signs like the holo rainbows usuallly meaning bad news, but recently bought 2 cards(2 different vendors) that have been giving me 2nd thoughts since theyre slightly different than the usual modern .

The mega rays fully textured btw, i just took it whilst still in binder. Its the keldeos aurora thats throwing me off but i noticed my 1 or 2 other s12a full arts have slightly different holos compared to most sets as well but this one really screamed rainbow when tilted.

Bought a 151 Booster Bundle on Tiktok for well below market. Now that I'm looking at it, the front art Mew tail looks weird. If suspicious enough I'll rip it and show results. Bought it just to see what would come in

Friend of mine sent me this from a binder he found. Can’t tell if it’s just a bad picture or what but the background seems off

Was scrolling on fb marketplace and saw these for like 2 dollars ik its hard to see the snorlax but are they real?

So I have two Erika’s Vileplume (see photos). Are they both legit? Both fake? I am the worst at identifying these things! The one thing that stood out to me is that at the bottom after the word “Creatures”, one card looks like it has a comma, and the other card looks like it has a period. Not sure if that’s significant or not.

Note: The first three photos are of one card (P-hole, front of card, and back of card). The next three photos is of the second card. I used the Magnifier app on the iPhone.

Just found these four cards in an old box I had from I was young are they even real? (I know they are quite damaged used to actually play with them when I was younger) and if they aren’t real what are the signs to look for?

Hello, my Dragonite I recently acquired looks to be oddly cut on the top corners. Is this normal? Fake?

Bought both from the same card shop. It's interesting bow the white colour is different between the holo and non holo card. Is one of them fake?

Any idea? It looks good from the front just not sure if the rainbow pattern is a feature lf the card. Back side seems darker than expected though.

First time buying off ebay and can someone help me identify if this is legit.

Pretty sure it's fake. Seller's photos. The holo is light-reactive but still seems a bit off, maybe?

Ive bought some random bulk from different sources, and noticed that some seemed to have a darker shade, and different centering.

Examples attached - with the darker on the right hand side.

Are the darker ones fake? Feel is similar but something seems a little off. The darker ones also came in one lot and were generally better condition.

Or do i have it the other way around?

If fake - quite scary that fakers would go to the hassle
