Fixing holes in knit sleeves?

I am trying to figure out how to fix these holes. Would a straight stitch with a twin knit needle work? Or another approach? Any suggestions are appreciated. 🙏

Would a whip stitch, ladder stitch, or something else be best here?

This is a sheer, synthetic ruffle on the edge of a dress. I want to make the mend as hidden as possible while making sure it doesn’t re-tear the fabric.

Darning on the collar

Hey all,

Struggling to get started with fixing this hole in this jumper. I’ve watched a bunch of videos on darning but I’ve never actually done it before and I keep getting thrown by the fact that it’s not a standard stitch (I don’t think). I’ve done embroidery before, and crochet but not knitting.

Can someone please help me get started? Or have any recs for easy videos that’ll help?

Thanks!
