I'm seeking urgent financial help for a stray cat with a severe respiratory infection. He has nasal mucus and is breathing with visible abdominal effort, which may indicate serious respiratory distress. He needs immediate veterinary care, but I cannot afford the expenses alone. He definitely needs oxygen. I called a veterinary clinic, they said for 1 hr of oxygen, they charge 200 Rs. Vet consultation fee is 500-600 Rs
He is around 2.5–3 years old and previously belonged to my aunt. He left home when he was 6-7 months old. My aunt doesn't live here anymore and has more or less has abandoned her cats. He now lives mostly as a stray and visits our home occasionally for food. From the last week, he's been coming to our house more often and his condition has severely deteriorated. He never used to sleep at our house but now he's doing that. I have a cat myself and I can't keep this cat at home for long. But I can't just force him outside especially not in this condition

UPDATE--- I'm at TSVH ( The Seattle Veterinary Hospital) I've attached the prescription and a video of him in oxygen support in a comment. We are at the vet as I'm typing this. As you'll see in the prescription, meds through IV are prescribed for 5 days. He's being given meds through IV right now. They quoted 1200 Rs for IV per day. He's also prescribed some blood tests. I told them not to take blood samples for now. Blood work will cost 3000 Rs something. Vet consultation fee is 550Rs. Oxygen support per hour is 300. IV meds is 1200Rs per day. He's still in oxygen support. Total cost for now — 1200Rs for 5 days- 6000 Rs
Bloodtests - 3000 Rs
A digital thermoter - 200 Ra
total-- 10,050 Rs for now
Update 2- they are taking the blood samples. They are saying the bloodtests are necessary given his condition
