He has nasal mucus and is breathing with visible abdominal effort, which may indicate serious respiratory distress. He needs immediate veterinary care, but I cannot afford the expenses alone. He definitely needs oxygen. I called a veterinary clinic, they said for 1 hr of oxygen, they charge 200 Rs. Vet consultation fee is 500-600 Rs

He is around 2.5–3 years old and previously belonged to my aunt. He left home when he was 6-7 months old. My aunt doesn't live here anymore and has more or less has abandoned her cats. He now lives mostly as a stray and visits our home occasionally for food. From the last week, he's been coming to our house more often and his condition has severely deteriorated. He never used to sleep at our house but now he's doing that. I have a cat myself and I can't keep this cat at home for long. But I can't just force him outside especially not in this condition

I am writing this because I desperately need the help of a local animal rescue NGO or an independent volunteer in Patna.

A neighbor in my area is severely neglecting a puppy (a Golden Retriever/Lab mix). This owner previously had two dogs,one died of neglect, and the other ran away. Now, this new puppy is facing the exact same cruelty.

I recently saw the puppy, and it broke my heart:

• He is permanently chained to a wall with less than 2 feet of space to move.

• He is forced to sit in his own urine and feces.

• His water bowl is completely muddy and dirty, and he is only given stale roti.

• When anyone goes near him, the poor guy just starts crying.

I cannot intervene directly or confront the neighbor myself because I am a minor and my parents will get very angry if they find out I reported this. Can an adult volunteer or NGO team please do a welfare check or rescue him?. I am looking for an adult volunteer or an NGO team who can physically visit this location, handle the situation, and rescue this pup.

I have been taking care of 4 kittens of age 9 weeks.
and also simultaneously getting them adopted, 2 got adopted recently

I vaccinated them at Veterinary Clinical Complex, Khanapara, Guwahati on 16th October. It's a government veterinary.

The vaccination of all 4 costed me 3600rs, which is a lot for a college student with no income for me.

Yesterday around 5pm my wife found a little kitten in a small cardboard box, maybe placed by a kid as the box had kids handwriting in it. The kitten is so small that it hasn't opened its eyes yet. It just makes this mewing sound continuously.

Another angle to this situation. We feed a stray mama cat who was pregnant almost 10-12 days ago. We're very sure that its her baby. We searched for her entire evening but couldn't find her as she might have been with her litter.

So today at noon she came to us and we showed her the kitten , she licked its genitals( as mothers forced licking can only help the kitten urinate or excrete).

But that was it. She isnt feeding it any milk, the small one is continuously crying.

What do we do?

Yesterday i had to set up an alarm to wake up for re-heating the hot water bag as kittens cannot retain body heat. I did all the chatGpt and gemini search. Also made milk formula with diluted milk and egg yolk for the time being.

We both are working 10-5 and have to be out whole day. Also this place is so backward that i dont know if there's any vet in Veterinary hospital. I was just about to take to the vet in my lunch time , when all the above things happened. And by the time i leave office the hospital may also close.

Kindly suggest something.

I lost him today!
I thought he was gonna fight through it , I knew he wanted to live. He was an absolute mama’s boy, he would follow me everywhere even when I’m in washroom. Last night he followed me to the washroom, that assured me that he is doing good and will get better. His favourite sleeping position was tummy-side up, he slept peacefully last night with his tummy-side up.
Everything went downhill today, even before I could process what was happening he took his last breath.
I don’t know what to do anymore, I don’t want to live a life without him in it. Nothings making sense. I miss his presence, i miss his smell , I miss his nose, his eyes. I miss my baby ❤️‍🩹

She was supposed to be discharged today according to the 21-day treatment + post-care plan, but she’ll stay there for one more week. Currently, she is receiving treatment for her megacolon issue. The X-ray from the day before yesterday showed that her enlarged colon has slightly reduced in size. For the past two weeks, she has required medical assistance (a little enema) to stimulate intestinal motility, as she was not doing it on her own. Maybe she is holding it because it’s an enclosed space and not a natural setup (ground, grass, etc.). To assess her intestinal motility, they have just started taking her out to provide natural stimulation.

We’re hoping that her colon issue is resolved and she won't have any constipation in future and won't require an enema for it. ☹️

PS.
They had to bandage those areas because she kept removing the bandages from her surgical wound and tearing off her collar.
