So I finally got finished with the 2019 horror movie Midsommar and this was quite a movie.

I thought the story was definitely unique and I thought you had some good performances from Florence Pugh and Jack Reynor. I also thought that the movie had a great look to it and it was definitely a chilling score.

My small negative is some of the acting. I mean, especially with some of these supporting performances that were mixed. I felt like sometimes they were good and other times they were lacking. There’s also one thing that Florence Pugh does multiple times in the movie that seemed a little unrealistic and was distracting. The other negative would be that the first hour never really hooked me.

Overall, this was quite a ride when watching this movie and the ending definitely took me for a loop. I would say this was a good movie, but I have no interest in ever watching it again.
