❓Question❓ Saddle replacement

Hello, i have an ibanez artwood aw-18 acoustic guitar (6 strings) and the saddle is broken. My local repair man (i’m in Senegal) says he can’t make another one with this particular shape. I was wondering if there is any way to order one and where to get it. Thank you

Are you talking about the bridge saddle or the upper saddle (nut)? There should be absolutely nothing special about either one of them, so just taking measures and googling should get you what you want.

I don’t know if the global sellers like Amazon, Thomann and Aliexpress have limitations shipping to Senegal though, so you might want to check the instrument webshops around there first.

From what I have seen, you need a compensated blank. Nothing too difficult to find at most any guitar site like stewmac.com
