Help Does anyone know of an app that plays the Korok noise with the touch of one button?

Doesn’t have to be the Korok noise. I suppose I should add why I want the app.

I’m looking to motivate myself while doing tasks like cleaning or exercising by playing a happy noise.

With a widget would be ideal.

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

Looking for an app that will work on Android and can be used to record audio and then playback on a loop.

It must be secure so that no data leaves the phone. Something that a medical doctor may use.

Discussion [iOS] Who Goes - Fun social games for when you’re hanging out with your group

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Introduction

Hey everyone! I'm Shubham, I've been trying to build an app for about 2-3 months along with my full time 9-6 job, and I'm happy to share my game nights app, Who Goes with you.

It's an iOS / iPad app for game nights, house parties, road trips, and pretty much any hangout with a group of people.

It’s free to download and play, with optional one-time purchase and subscription options.

The idea behind Who Goes is pretty simple: engage everyone in your group and involve them in something together, through social games like Headbands, Truth or Dare and a bunch of quick group activities into one app, with a modern, playful experience built around actually passing the phone around and having fun together.

About the app

The app brings multiple party games into one place:

• Headbands with tilt controls for correct answers and passes
• Charades with themed decks, teams, rounds, and timers
• Truth or Dare with 11 decks for friends, couples, parties, family, and coworkers
• Spin the Bottle for quick, suspenseful player selection
• Would You Rather for impossible this-or-that debates
• Finger Chooser to instantly pick someone from the group
• Quick Play tools for dice, coin flips, and more

Current Market

I know this is an insanely competitive category, with a shit-ton of party apps already out there.
My goal with Who Goes was never to reinvent the wheel, but to bring the ones people already know and play together in one place, without needing five different apps on your phone.

I wanted the whole thing to feel much more modern and polished than most party apps I've tried, with playful animations, haptics, sounds, and little interactions that actually add to the game instead of getting in the way.

No ads popping up between rounds, no cluttered UI, and no wildly different experience every time you switch games.

No account is required, and the games work offline.

TL;DR:

A. A game to bring back the fun of playing party games with a group of people during game nights, trips.

B. Free version includes a selection of decks for Charades, Headbands, and Truth or Dare, along with a few mini games. Plus unlocks all decks, game modes, and customisation options.

Discussion I’ll design free App Store screenshots for the first 2 apps in the comments

Post image

I’m making screenshot concepts for two apps today. The image shows the kind of work I can make, with a different style for each app.

If you’d like one, comment with your App Store link and a short description of your app. If it isn’t live yet, share a few raw screenshots instead. I’ll take the first two with enough details to work from.

Help looking for a FREE screen time app for tweens/teens

Hi guys!

I’m looking for a free screen time app to download onto my 11 year old brother‘s ipad. We have tried the in built feature and it just does not work for us. All the apps that I seem to like the features of require a subscription :(( Here are my requirements:

- FREEEEEE i’m fine with using the free tier but if i am literally unable to use the app without getting a subscription that’s insane

- id be happy to download something that’s a one time purchase though!

- i quite like the features of “unrot”, specifically how you can earn rewards by doing certain tasks. the issue we‘re facing isn’t so much the amount of time spent on screens, but rather the fact that the screens are being prioritised over chores and homework

im fine with literally anything as long as it’s free and has the feature of “earning“ screen time. id appreciate any recommendations atp!!!

Help Restore iPhone app data

Please help, I’m not a tech-savvy person.

My daughter has a coloring app on her iPhone. She’s been working on the pages in this app for months. The app got deleted and when we redownload the app, the data isn’t restored. Her phone was backed up to the cloud two hours before this.

We’ve never backed her phone up to a computer though, so I don’t know how to retrieve the back up from the cloud.

Discussion I think I found one of the best entertainment tracker app (genuine recommendation)

I recently came across “sequel media tracker” and it does what I wish letterboxd did. It’s got a modern design with Liquid Glass and is ad free. You can pay a subscription for some things but overall the app feels complete without playing a penny.

You can track movies, shows, games, books, and audiobooks aswell.

  1. Is there a way to hide the paywall News+ stories?

  2. How to clear caches since News app can hog a lot of storage without uninstalling, redownloading, reinstalling, and reconfiguring the app?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

Discussion Voice Journaling app for people who can't journal.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I kept telling myself I should journal, just to look at my own life once in a while. But every time I opened the app I would sit there not knowing what to say first, and a few days later I would delete it. That happened more times than I want to admit.

Nanari is created to get rid of that pause.

Instead of a blank page, it asks first. It looks at the photos you took, the places you went, what was on your calendar, and asks one question about the day you actually had. You answer out loud for about two minutes and it turns that into an entry you can read later.

If you’ve ever given up on journaling because you couldn’t think of anything to write, try it.

Discussion Happy iPhone Duo Day! Tripsy for iPhone Duo is ready to unfold!

Admitedly a little bit of self promo, but wanted to share a little bit about what it's like to build an iPhone Duo experience with just the simulator, as our two co-founders did. And with this weekend marking most people's first hands on with the first folding phone from Apple we're pleased to confirm that with a new iPhone comes a whole new way to travel. ✨

We're incredibly excited to introduce Tripsy for iPhone Duo! More space to plan, more freedom to explore, and a whole new way to experience your journeys.

Your next adventure unfolds here. 🌍

Your travel plans deserve more room to breathe. ✈️

With Tripsy for iPhone Duo, enjoy a larger canvas to organize itineraries, explore activities, and keep all your travel details together.

More space for your plans. Less time navigating between screens.

Not just a bigger screen, a thoughtfully adapted experience. ✨

We've carefully refined Tripsy for iPhone Duo, making the most of its flexible displays and new possibilities.

Every screen. Every interaction. Thoughtfully designed for this amazing new device.

A special moment for our tiny indie team! ❤️

Tripsy has been featured by Apple Newsroom and in both the Today and Apps tabs of the App Store for iPhone Duo!

We're just a small team building an app we love, and this recognition means the world to us.

Thank you, Apple! ✨

You can read more about the small details of our iPhone Duo experience here:

tripsy.blog/iphoneduo/

Curious if any other devs have had to build the app with very little hands-on time with the device - and what are iPhone Duo users finding works well for them.

Discussion Looking for beta testers: Lading, a moving box tracker for iPhone 📦

**Looking for beta testers: Lading, a moving box tracker for iPhone** 📦

I’m a solo developer, and Lading is ready for real-world testing. You photograph each box, print a label in its room’s color, scan it onto the truck and off again, and Lading shows exactly what’s missing.

**What I’m looking for:**

* iPhone users on iOS 26.0 or later
* People who are moving soon, or who can run a practice move with 20+ boxes
* A practice run takes about 20 minutes, and a real move is even better

**What you’d do:**

  1. Add your rooms and at least 20 boxes, with a photo of each open box
  2. Print labels (sticker sheets, plain paper, or PDF all work)
  3. Scan boxes onto the truck and off again
  4. Leave a couple out and check the missing list

**What I most want to know:**

* Did any label fail to scan, and what was the light like?
* Did anything feel slow, especially past 50 boxes?
* Where did you get stuck or confused?
* Would you want to share a move with a partner?

**The good stuff:** no account, no ads, no tracking. Your boxes stay on your iPhone.

**Join (free, via TestFlight):** [https://testflight.apple.com/join/3ruUnn9B](https://testflight.apple.com/join/3ruUnn9B))
More info: [jeaneselatiolais.com/lading/beta](http://jeaneselatiolais.com/lading/beta)

Beta builds can have bugs, so please don’t use it as your only record of a real move. Thank you! 🙏

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Subscriptions add up, and it’s easy to lose track of what you’re paying for.

SubIQ helps you keep them in one place, see your monthly spending, and get reminders before renewals or free trials end.

  1. Download SubIQ for iPhone.

Give it a try and let us know what you think 🙂

Discussion I've built my first app! A classic, simple RSS app, CleanRSS - Please help me test

Thumbnail

I’ve built my first iPhone app.

It’s an RSS reader without the BS that many modern apps come with:

  • No signup
  • No subscription
  • No tracking
  • No ads
  • No magazine view

Just a simple, classic list. Tidy and straight to the point.

Right now you can add individual feeds or import an OPML file, and I’m hoping to add better feed search soon. Other features include a clean reader view, web view, open in browser, mark as read toggles, saved articles and iCloud syncing between devices.

For now it’s just for iPhone. Once I’m happy with it I’ll be extending it to Duo, iPad and macOS.

If you want to try it: https://testflight.apple.com/join/jgHQ7AqS

To be upfront, I used Claude to teach me at times, walking me through the steps whenever I got stuck or didn’t understand something while working in Xcode. I’ve been working on this for a few weeks now.

Help App/Widget that allows for smaller icons and more apps per grid?

Post image
3 Upvotes

I'm coming from Android to the iPhone Duo and am in need of help.

1) I really need a way to have multiple apps to quick launch.

On Android, I used an app called Small Icons that allowed me 4 apps in place of one. Is there something similar for iOS?

2) What's the best swipe keyboard that can either allow for one handed typing or at least float?

3) What's the easiest way to transfer files from my Android to my new iPhone? I tried Move to iOS, but it failed due to the amount of things I wanted transferred.

Any help would be appreciated.
