This literally means nothing to me, but I’m pretty sure I could watch this episode 50 more times and still not catch all the meta references

Text Mac causing Frank, Dee, and Charlie to question evolution is still the best thing they've ever written for the character
Him slapping "BITCH" on Aristotle, Galileo, and Newton's faces is just incredible. He's my least favorite member of the gang only by virtue of liking the other four more, but the cereal bowl defense devolving into a takedown of evolution at Mac's hands is peak Sunny.

Mac parroting Dennis's hand gesture in Dave & Buster's is one of my favorite Mac moments in the show

I'm Dennis Reynolds. I have a bar. I own a bar. It's my bar. And I wanted to invite you to it- for- uh, we have food and supplies, and it would be a good place. This storm is gonna be bad, as you know. So why not be at the bar with me. and, you know, for the good of the race? I have a contract.

I feel like this is something you would find with Macs "workout" gear.
Even though he is Dutch Catholic not Irish Catholic.

Text Took me way too long to realize we did see the Frankie Fast Hands technique
and it’s just a sucker punch. I never made that connection until I heard him say that after rewatching the mugging scene tonight

The origins of the infamous trying times egg.
After a close watch of S7E1 “Frank’s Pretty Woman” I discovered the origins of the historical egg Frank offers in these trying times.
When Frank and Charlie are in the limo, Frank tells a story about how he was under the bridge and he found a full case of eggs and none of them were even broken! He also got bit by a crab but that’s not important here. Earlier in the episode we see Frank and Charlie boiling the denim they also found under the bridge. The same denim Charlie is talking about in the beginning of the episode where he reassured Dee not to worry because they boil the denim. When frank pulls the denim out of the pot you can see an egg fall back in. They boiled the denim and the eggs they found down by the bridge together in the same pot. Later in the taxi, Charlie is wearing the same denim they boiled earlier, and Frank is eating the eggs. The bridge is still clearly on Charlie’s mind too because when asked how he made his fortune he reply’s, oh, a little of this a little of that, and bridges. The origins of the egg and denim are scattered all over the episode and I just tied it all together. I’m sure I’m not the first to notice this but I love it and I’m sharing it anyway so if you don’t like it just move past it.

Image My buddies got me a blue revision copy of The Nightman Cometh script signed by Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton for my birthday!
This script is easily findable online for all of you to read but it’s really cool seeing what they had planned initially but scraped in the final episode. I watched the episode right after to spot all the differences and there are a lot! I’m incredibly grateful to my friends for this one of a kind gift!
