(2024-12-13) UPDATES ARE BACK - UP TO DATE WITH ALL VEHICLES (up to Glider), TRACKS AND MASTERIES
Features: Completely track all of your garage. How much money you spent - what parts you have - how many you need - how much you'll have to spend in coins or scrap to get there. Worksheet with VERY detailed stats about each vehicle. Summary sheet to see all your vehicles at a glance. Adventure mode tracker - see at a glance which vehicles have your highest scores, and which ones you need to work on.

With permissions from the mods (who got permission from Aerobiere himself), I'm presenting the latest version of the much loved garage manager spreadsheet, originally created by Aerobiere.
I've modified the sheet to add in the all of the latest vehicles, up to the Glider and the new adventure maps. Otherwise, it's still the INCREDIBLE spreadsheet that he created before. All macros have been updated as well (so you will need to accept any macro or active content warnings you are presented with to get the most out of the spreadsheet).
Due to the complexity of the sheet, I've removed the hidden columns from the past that allowed you to add in new vehicles, but . . . by doing so, I've made the formulas MUCH easier for me to add new rides in the future.
I've also added in the ability to track your masteries as well. You'll need to activate the mastery for each vehicle once FS releases it. That opens up the ability to track each of the 4 masteries per vehicle. I've left some columns at the end to allow you to enter in the names of the masteries (in case they add in anything new - which I'm sure they will)
Again, all credit to Aerobiere, all I've done is brought it up to date by changing the incredible groundwork that he laid.

Somewhat recently, reddit stopped locking older topics so quickly, so Team Topic #7 has been up for a few years. I think the current level of "join my team" topics is getting more than a little excessive (and low effort), so for the near future, please confine all team recruiting and advertisement to this topic. Standalone team topics of this nature will be removed with a link to this topic.
English is not required, especially if your team will mainly communicate in a different language, but it is much more likely to find you a bigger audience.
You should be able to attach pictures for your team (in most of the methods of accessing reddit, anyway). Feel free to try.
This topic is also appropriate for merge talks (although Discord is probably better for that). Discord links for hcr2-player-seeking-teams and hcr2-team-seeking-player.
Past recruitment topics can be found: here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.

Current masteries are as follows;
4/4 - muscle, rally, offroader, rock bouncer, raider, stocker
3/4 - glider, bolt
2/4 - tank
I’ve got enough coins for another 2 masteries, what would you choose next and why?
r/HillClimbRacing • u/BeginningwithN • 7h ago
Which one of these is better to unlock? They are pretty pricey using adventure points so I will likely only be getting one. I’ve got the off-roader selected right now but but figured I would double check

After unlocking all four masteries, which vehicle is the fastest overall in Hill Climb Racing 2?
I'm talking about the fastest vehicle with all four masteries equipped, considering its maximum speed on flat ground and overall performance. Which vehicle actually comes out on top, and why?
I'd appreciate answers from players who've tested this themselves!

The recent evolution of the game closely mimics certain concepts that are widely prevalent in gachas, although the main issue (imo) is that some things have been handled carelessly, resulting in the current situation of vehicles getting too op and the game requiring an excessive amount of grinding.
Mythics, for one, are hcr2's stand-in for the 50/50 system present in pretty much every single gacha when it comes to banners. The move towards more subscription based (recurring payment) features is more so present in the larger global market, but it is noteworthy (i.e. VIP diamond, event pass, and team spirit). Something else that is a personal pet peeve of mine and which is far too widespread in the mobile games environment (also present in many gachas) is what I'd call "currency overpopulation" (too many different kinds of currencies to keep up with, designed with the end goal of getting you to spend more money). --> Quick list: coins, gems, adventure tokens (and everything derivative from them), purple chips (team shop), bolts, scrap, blueprints, styles coins, special tickets, event points, and mastery xp (not truly but almost). Following closely to that is the implementation of "energy systems" (notorious in the mobile games space) in the game, which is how moon tickets, PE tickets, CS tickets, TE tickets, and weekly challenges operate. (I'm not saying all of these singular things are problematic or annoying, but rather that their collective is -- except the mythics situation, that IS problematic AND annoying)
For what pertains to the grinding part, the biggest offenders are the farm for adventure tokens and mastery xp. Doing masteries is not nearly as bad as when they were originally being implemented, but I still consider the grind it takes to be more than should be warranted considering the fact you're also having to spend a million coins on top of that. As for adventure tokens, the grind is absolutely horrendous. If you're actually trying to keep up with all adventure chests and all other general in-game activities, you GENUINELY have to be unemployed and have little to no other hobbies (exaggerating a bit, but it is still preposterous).
However, what is ruining the game the most (imo) for good players that already have a lot of progression is how the "power creep", a very prevalent process in gachas and other live service games, is being handled. The way it works fundamentally is that when new content is introduced, it includes items that are more powerful than previous stuff. The way this maps to hcr2 is that we've gotten progressively more OP vehicles and parts (ever since glider and the addition of masteries). The problem is that there has not been enough additional content that matches the power creep to keep things balanced, and also the power creep has just been way too OP.
Some additional things to note: first is the ad situation. There's no way it needs to be as bad as it is, and that goes for 99% of mobile games. Second is moonlander echo, there's literally no reason not to bring it back at this point. Third, I'm a big time believer that cosmetics should be one of the main means of monetization, but styles are kinda mid rn and 99.999% of players would not fathom purchasing a styles chest.

Hey guys just wanted to cherish my milestone. I'm completely F2P. It feels so good after 4 months of grinding.
Fully Maxed Cars lvl 20 - 6 (Glider, Offroader, Muscle, Rally, Dune, Havoc)
Cars with level 18- 4 (Stocker, Raider, Rock bouncer, Racing truck)
Lvl 15 - 7
None of the fully maxed ones have mastery!
Also any suggestions would be helpful! Thank you!

I found out in summer that I had about 12 k untouchable Adventury tokens. I didn't know before they can be used to something usable 😅. So I bought mostly win strike shields. Today I hit 100 shields. I have driven every day every adventure task since I found out their usefulness especially in masterys. It gives double experience points. Win strike has many very good features. Win strike of 4612 races is the result of enhacing cars and I guess some skill too.

I unlocked Havoc a few days ago, and since it seems that's what everyone is using for the public event, that's what I'm using. I can sometimes get a pretty good time, but it feels like pure luck more than anything. I hold down boost and many times, the nose starts tipping up and flipping backwards. What am I doing wrong?
