I'm a huge fan of the ring design for Lanterns, so I designed my interpretation of what the rings / emblems of the other 8 Lantern Corps might look like in the same style (contrasting metal border, meteorite-esque band, generally square shape).

Now, I know I took some liberties with some of the designs... especially the Blue and Yellow emblems, but I think I retained the feeling of the original while adapting the style and not resorting to lines drawn within a circular emblem, like the other attempts I've seen so far.

Finally, I used Claude to help me turn the 2d designs I made by hand into 3d ring designs. They're in the Dropbox. I liked it better when the emblem extends back into the ring, unlike the show's version which is just a simple face atop the band. I only wanted the 3d models so I could get a 3/4 view pic, but if you wanted to adapt the models for printing, go for it.

Edit: for the record, the only AI generated part of this post is the 3d model (and the two 3/4 view renders of them) The rest is good old fashioned graphic design.

Hi, this is my next project: Lanterns power battery replica. It has physical button on the ring slot, and once pushed using the ring, will slowly light up and pulsates as if it's charging the ring, ramping up in speed as you recite the oath! When you're done, the light will slowly fade out.

I used custom program and esp32 to achieve this.

i’ve only got into green lantern recently and since i have been completely obsessed, i’ve been loving the comics i’ve read and i really enjoyed the show! i really want more hal jordan figures such as the dc icons one but it’s going for like £100, i also want a sinestro, atrocious and a saint walker lol
id love to see more people’s lantern collection!

The series will focus on Jessica Cruz voiced by Auli'i Cravalho - Moana (2016) Mean Girls (2024) I'm excited because I don't know as much as I'd like about Jessica.

Tan sólo tendrá 2 números y contará su historia de origen.

I found the image on aliexpress but it is not the same model, does anyone know where to buy it or on which page it is located?

Hi, I want to start watching Green Lantern stuff, starting with the animated series, but I can't find anywhere to watch it. Is there anywhere I can watch it? I've tried lots of places, but none of them have worked for me.

The final confrontation with Doctor Polaris!

"Doctor Polaris Conquers The Universe" - Hal and Tom arrive to where Polaris has gathered dozens of people. Due to being close to the ring, Hal is able to mask their influence from Polaris, that is until Polaris plays his hand and takes Tom's mind, while blasting Hal. Tom was holding a box that contained a device built by Bruce Gordon, but he dropped it so Hal scrambles around dodging attackers and trying to get the box. Polaris keeps throwing constricts at him as well, until Hal is able to get the upper hand against the constructs as they are all very basic things that Hal used to use and therefore knows how to dodge them.

He finally gets the box and activates the device which ours a yellow aura around him. Now he can get close enough to grab the ring, but then Polaris uses his magnetic powers to stop Hal in his tracks. Polaris pulls in more magnetic power from the planet which opens up a portal to the magnetic glue that holds the universe together (see photo, I can't explain it). While Polaris is distracted, Hal pushes his willpower further and is able to pull the ring off Polaris' finger and onto his own. Back to full power, he and Polaris fight back and forth, until GL is pushed back. Polaris finds the nucleus of the universe, comprised of pure magnetic energy, and tries to absorb it, but is overwhelmed by its power. He is pulled apart atomically, leaving GL the winner. He seals the portal and grabs Tom, explaining that he needs to find Carol's kidnapper next.

Conclusion: Okay, a great story arc but what the hell just happened? This was pretty out there for a space cop book. I'm not against it, but I don't really get it either. Has this "magnetic glue" ever come up again? I don't remember it, but it is an interesting concept that needs more exploration. Hopefully when Polaris returns, there will be more.

This whole issue is basically one big fight and it was exciting, but again, we go through the idea of Hal being able to summon the ring. I want it to stick now. It's a simple thing and shouldn't be taken away anymore. It being the saving move for Hal was good.

So now, I'm wondering if Marv Wolfman's run is this level of roller coaster the whole time? Only three issues in and it hasn't slowed down at all. Can't wait to see more. Also the sunglasses were a good look for Hal.

It’s an absolute crime that it never got a second season.

Un fan comic que explora la historia de un blue lantern católico.

For example, if superman were to wear a ring, would his heat vision be empowered as with other cases like starfire's plasma or zatanna's magic?

The Steam Lantern is from the green lantern animated series episode 16. As for the sidekick idea. I like the idea of a kid that had found Lady Catherine's blueprints for the steam lantern suit. And since it's clear the boy will try in make it himself. So Gil Broome decided it would be safer to take the kid under his wing so to speak. And yes the kid has the same speech patterns as everyone else. The little Steam Lantern is just as heroic as his mentor.

Also i like the idea of the steam lantern suits being able to produce enough steam that they can hide in it and using their green flaming blasts to defeat a villain. I could see Lady Catherine finding a way to make more Hardtofindium but the method being pretty hard and slow to do so it is still a rare material. I find it neat that they are from an alternate earth that hal took to his universe so it won't get destroyed. I like the idea of Lady Catherine adding translators and breathing gear so Steam Lanterns can go to space. Maybe even get a couple of more members though it would still be a small group due to the Hardtofindium.

The Mauve Lantern is from Lobo 2026 issues 3 I believe. Anyways I hate that Francis Dalex lost his ring so in this situation I imagine he got to keep his ring and remains a good guy. I adored Francis when he was a Mauve Lantern. Anyways contrary to what Francis says, he definitely has a lot of will. So I like the idea that in order to become a Mauve Lantern you need enough will to get a green lantern then have enough glee that it transforms the ring meaning Mauve Lanterns are rare much like Steam Lanterns. Interestingly kids tend to have a lot of will and be very gleefully. Plus I think it would be adorable is a kid from Francis's home world become another Mauve Lantern.

Despite Mauve Lantern constructs not doing damage and Mauve Lanterns basically being pacifists they do seem to be able to make a whole lot of constructs at once and the constructs seem to be stronger enough to restrain people, when not used by someone like lobo. Plus I like the idea of Mauve Lanterns being pretty affective against Sinestro Lanterns despite not directly fighting them. Sinestro Lanterns draw power from people fearing them. So when a Mauve Lantern an they can use their constructs and their gleeful personalities to cheer up, comfort, and make people happy so they won't be full of fear. Basically talking, hugging, playing with their constructs, and putting on little shows with their constructs all over a planet. Thuse making the Sinestro Corp member weaker which could be an issue if thw Sinestro Corp member is fighting a Steam Lantern or especially a Green Lantern.

I think image 9 is Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps issue 4, but if I'm wrong I will edit this to the correct comic. Anyways I like the idea of that kid becoming a Yellow Lanterns just to spite the Sinestro Corp members that took his parents and stuff. Wouldn't be the first time someone got a yellow ring without Heck the kid might be an orphan now. Poor kid.

Now that I think about it. It could be fun for these three little Lanterns to form a team with Tai Pham. Although having a Yellow Lantern on the same team as a Green Lantern, Steam Lantern, and especially a Mauve Lantern could prove to be an issue. They won't let their Yellow Lantern friend cause a lot of fear just for more power. Then again the yellow element could bypass unfortunately most areas containing the yellow element are under the Sinestro Corp's watcg. And the only to places that have the yellow element outside of Sinestro Corp territory happens to be in Red Lantern territory.

Also with the idea of the little Steam Lantern, little Mauve Lantern, and the little Yellow Lantern being orphans those three and Tai might end up gaining a sibling bond. I guess Tai gets some adopted siblings. Also these kids need names. It will get a bit repetitive to keep referring to them as "little _____ Lantern" all the time. Also I adore the idea of Tai switching between his too green lantern outfits based on who he is fighting or what mission he is doing. If it is against someone that grab his clothes or in a situation where the baggy parts are caught on something. He simply switches to his other outfit.

I would include an Indgo Tribe member but I wasn't sure how the would handle a child serial killer.

Ps I'm not sure where thw Tai Pham images to came from. If anyone knows the exact issue then I will add them to this description.

What inspired the design of some of the lantern corps symbols? I get some of them are more obviously reminiscent of actual lanterns, and the violet is way more obviously a star for Star Sapphire, but others are a little less obvious. Any specific models of irl lantern perhaps? I’m particularly curious about orange, yellow, blue, black, and white.

Hey guys!

I’m in NYC looking for a power ring replica

Like many, I’m trying to complete a Hal Jordan costume from ‘Lanterns’ for Halloween this week.

I ordered a ring from Etsy a week ago but it doesn’t look like it’ll arrive in time.

Anyone local have one I could borrow/buy? Or know where I could find one?

Thanks!

It has always amused me how the leaders of a corporation that uses emotions as their power source have no emotions themselves. At any point in history, do they stop being the bosses?
