I’m starting to budget out my Christmas gifts for family and I would love to prioritize useful gifts that are unique to Alaska and/or support indigenous makers.

I’m looking at the slippers (I’m not sure of the proper name) that could be beaded with a raven or a crow design.

I’m also interested in a set of cooking knives if there is a local metalworker.

I would love suggestions for any local shops or crafters. I’m based in Fairbanks but willing to travel or pay for shipping.
