I want to join a formula student as a computer engineer. At the moment i have 0 coding experience, but i still have 7 months before going to uni. So what things or skills should i have, so i could be a stronger candidate for the team?

Our team has had to create an entirely new chassis because our last one failed SES and was against the rules in multiple areas. This is the design of the new chassis, could yall give some feedback.

I'm just wondering what the intent is for this rule.

Does this mean we can't bolt through the chassis floor anymore eg. for seatbelt mounts, FRH etc as the bolt head or threads depending on orientation would sit lower than the floor?
