Could anyone help me figure out how to make my guitar sound like the one in the self-title album, specifically in Snowblood? I tried messing around with T-Scream, Natural OD, Overdrive and EQs, but I still cant get rid of this buffled kinda muddy aspect of it.

I know it will never sound like the studio version, but I know it's possible to make it better, I just don't know how.

Gear: Schecter Omen Elite-7 running through a Katana 50 Mk-II.

My current setup is:

AMP Type: LEAD (with variation) | Gain: 15 | Volume: 70

Bass: 45 | Middle: 70 | Trebble: 75

Booster: T-SCREAM (Drive: 0 | Tone: +20 | Bottom: -50 | Effect Level: 70 | all the rest is 0)

Parametric EQ: Position Amp Out | Low Cut: 315 Hz | rest is default)

Noise Supressor: 70

Cab Resonance: Modern

Presence: 70

Need advice in choosing which neural dsp plugin works best to achieve the rhythm tone along with dialing the tone into these plugins for live performances and for covers . I have archytype gojira, abasi, Misha and petrucci

So as the title says, I need help with getting their tone . I'm using a 6 string guitar, drop D tuning pitched down using archetype gojira but there's a lot of noise that comes out when I play it live . I also have archetype abasi

I've decided to put my creativity to good use even though I'm a rookie at these. Colors inspired by the music video for "Snowblood", along with how I visualize the song in my head. Also Eternal Blue (Spiritbox) and Unbroken (an influential San Diego HC band).

Is that a Madison thing? UW Madison? Opener? Been sitting on this a couple weeks.

One thing I really love about ERRA is that man, they're such progressive and they've progressed so much since 2009.

Which album is your favorite? I'm kinda curious because ERRA has changed a lot.

One of the things I love most about the S/T is how well Jesse does his high-frequency screaming/singing distortion.

It's all over the album but one of my favorite uses of it is in Divisionary, all over the song but specifically when JT comes in with "Technology is God, and God speaks: Humanity is secondary to me" and then Jesse enters with "Hold meeeee DOOOOWWWWNNNNN".

That distortion/scream is just SO unique and cool. No one else in the entire metalcore scene can do it like he does, nor as well as he does it. I've seen him do it live plenty too, and it just gives me goosebumps in the best way.

There's not much of it in Cure or in SotE, and despite me loving both of those records, I kinda miss having it more.

Anyone hope their future work will have it featured more?

Anyone know the song name where JT did his scream without a microphone on the silence outlives the earth tour? Just wondering if he did that at every show or just every now and then? Trying to find clips of it! Thanks !!

I have dove into Erra’s discography this year and am obsessed. I am seeing them later this year. Wondering if anyone can recommend some bands with a similar vibe especially their early albums? Maybe similar to periphery as well?

Just bought tickets to my first ever ERRA gig but I'm the only one in my friend group who really listens to heavier music so unfortunately right now I'm flying solo.

Was just seeing if anyone else on the subreddit is going? And if they were down for it would be open to meeting up before or during the gig?

For me, it was probably past life persona. I had to cut someone in my life who was an important figure and when I heard that song, I bawled like a child.

The chorus is what really got me. Trying to get through life without this person felt hard and almost impossible. Thankfully I found the softest source and I know anyone here who relates can and will too
