what are the best neighborhoods to go trick or treating in the 916?? i'm looking to go with my bf and all his younger siblings. it's their first time trick or treating so i want it to be fun/special

What are folks' thoughts on the city developing some nice botanical gardens? I know the city tries to shoot for the stars with big projects like a mall, hospital, or zoo but it seems like that never materializes...would botanical gardens be lower cost, more realistic, and a quality public good for residents?

I am a 32F looking to expand my social circle and make new friendsand hopefully we can be lifelong friends eventually. I think I am pretty introverted and socially awkward so I apologize in advance. I am not fit, in fact, I am quite lumpy like LSP! I started going to the gym and lifting weights and doing cardio. I am willing to try everything once. My interests are reading any fictional genre, I enjoy listening to music, I enjoy boardgames, trying to learn more about table top card games but that is quite confusing for me. I like coffee and tea.

If anyone is looking for their black and white dog matching the one in the photos, it’s still there as of 7pm! According to other neighbors in the area who’ve seen it, it’s been here since yesterday evening but is still keeping close by in the Elliott Springs area. It keeps running away any time someone approaches so nobody could catch it.

There’s a Nextdoor post about this too but I figure I’d expand the search on Reddit too. Animal control has been called by multiple people already but they didn’t give any timelines.

I left some dog food and water for it in the area it was seen so hopefully it gets some. I’ll check on it in an hour.
