Sometimes when you start Drawing Steel, you just can't seem to stop Drawing Steel.

The raccoon paladin tried speed blitzing the BBEG with Wind Sprint and a 2nd Level Divine Smite before negotiations could begin. Unfortunately for them, he has a feature that allows him to use a reaction to attack a creature when it enters his melee range. Paladin hit him for 27 Damage and he returned that shit back to sender with a Smite of his own for 39 Damage. Ended the session there and we're picking it back up Friday where we'll roll initiative and OFFICIALLY begin combat. (Don't mind the paladin already being halfway in the grave and combat ain't even technically starting yet💀)

*also the jelly fish is my wife's character, I just haven't been able to recreate her jellyfish person in heroforge or find a good substitute mini lmao
