Hi everyone! I’m desperate to find a Taekook fanfiction that I used to read on Wattpad. I think it might have been deleted during a purge or moved to AO3/Inkitt, and I really want to read it again.

Here are the exact plot points and details:

Main Dynamic: Huge age gap. Jungkook is the older bottom, and Taehyung is the younger top.

The Backstory (The Angst): Jungkook used to work at a company owned by Taehyung's father. The father was a massive womanizer with a secret family. He courted Jungkook, and Jungkook fell in love with him. One day, Taehyung's mother came to the office, and Jungkook realized the truth.

The Turning Point: Jungkook confronted the father and revealed he was pregnant. The father was furious, refused the child, and had his men kidnap Jungkook to force a hospital abortion. Jungkook's brother (Namjoon) and their mother tried to file a police complaint against the father. In retaliation, the father murdered Namjoon and Jungkook's mother right in front of him, tried to kill Jungkook, and dumped him on the side of the road.

The Recovery & Revenge Plan: Hobi rescued Jungkook from the road and took him to a foreign country. Jungkook became completely quiet, traumatized, and isolated, living in a dark environment and only wearing black clothes. He later broke down holding his cousin's baby. Hobi found out the truth, and they returned to Korea to seek revenge by targeting the father's son—Kim Taehyung.

The Taekook Relationship: Taehyung turned out to be incredibly sweet and nothing like his father. He fell in love with Jungkook and slowly started bringing color back into Jungkook’s depressed, all-black life, and Jungkook began falling for him too.

The Climax & Misunderstanding: Taehyung's best friend, Yoongi, manipulated a situation. Taehyung walked in at the worst possible moment, misunderstood what was happening, accidentally/unintentionally slapped Jungkook, and called him a "psycho" or "psychopath." A heartbroken Jungkook regressed completely back into isolation and his black clothes.

The Happy Ending: Days later, Taehyung found and read Jungkook’s secret diary, uncovering the horrific truth about his father. Taehyung then completely sided with Jungkook and actively helped him kill his father and his father's mistress (who was also involved in the murders of Taehyung's mother and Jungkook's family). It ends with a happy ending.

The fic was a University Landoscar AU titled Mastermind by TorturedGhost1344. The author posted a statement on their tumblr saying that they deleted it because they were facing threats of the fic being sent to the subjects of the fic
