Oak Island’s theories range from concealed pirate wealth to Templar relics and documents supposedly proving Francis Bacon wrote Shakespeare’s plays. What interests me is how those explanations became attached to the island—and whether the evidence supports the secrecy and engineering they require.

I made this documentary tracing the search and distinguishing reported discoveries from later interpretations. The missing inscribed stone and alleged flood tunnels are central to the story, but their evidential value remains disputed.
