Multi-Subreddit LIVESTREAM AMA — Dr. Jim Segala, Paul Hynek, and Host Leslie Kean — Sunday, October 4, 2026 @ 1:00 PM ET / 10 AM PT

The Anomalous Coalition - the moderators of r/Aliens, r/Experiencers, r/HighStrangeness, r/InterdimensionalNHI, r/UFOB, and r/UFOs - are excited to announce our next multi-subreddit livestream AMA featuring physicist Dr. Jim Segala and Paul Hynek, hosted by investigative journalist Leslie Kean. Heads up: this one is on a Sunday!

This conversation is about citizen science in support of experiencers, built on objective data. Paul's father, astronomer Dr. J. Allen Hynek, joined the Air Force's UFO studies in 1948 as a skeptic. Over two decades of Projects Sign, Grudge and Blue Book, the caliber of the witnesses changed his mind. In 1973 he founded the Center for UFO Studies so people could report what they saw without fear. Paul is carrying that forward with what he calls a verifiable evidence protocol, so experiencers can have better conversations with scientists. Jim is building the tools to gather that evidence. His platform, MUPAS Worldwide, pairs environmental and biometric sensor data with experiencers' own accounts, and offers peer support from specialists who are experiencers themselves.

What's a "verifiable evidence protocol"? Paul and his brother Joel, an Academy Award-winning visual effects artist, are developing a protocol that sits on top of their father's Close Encounter system and rates the evidence from an encounter, not just the encounter itself. Today most people report an experience after the fact. Paul's idea is to go in prepared: if you meet an entity that seems to have far superior intelligence, ask it for something no human could know but anyone can check later, like a random number only you know, the answer to an unsolved math problem, or a near-future event. The results are rated as convincing, compelling, or curious. Paul says it applies to any "meta-terrestrial" encounter, whether with a craft, an entity, or in an altered state, and he describes it as a work in progress.

Video The Socorro Encounter (1964) technical recreation

This is part of a series of technical recreations of historic UFO encounters using Unreal Engine.

According to the witness, officer Lonnie Zamora, a small egg shaped craft landed in a valley as he was pursuing a speeding driver. He broke off the chase and drove over the hill to spot two small beings huddled around the craft, which had a strange symbol on it. One spotted him and jumped. He drove closer and as he did they reentered the craft and a blue/orange flame shot out from beneath and the craft sped away low over the hills.

The Socorro encounter is one of the most compelling close encounters of the past century in part because of the credibility of the witness, officer Lonnie Zamora. He had a reputation for honesty, trustworthiness and integrity. Even the FBI agents who interviewed him as well as Project Blue Book investigators believed he was telling the truth.

If there’s another case you’d like to see recreated please comment below!

Stu was a contactee from Queensland, Australia, described by UFO researcher Dennis Whitney as trustworthy and as having experienced numerous strange and unusual events. Whitney said Stu maintained regular contact with “Benevolent Entities.”

In 2009, Stu was camping in the Queensland bush with his wife and teenage daughter when he reportedly took a photograph containing an unidentified figure among the vegetation.

Other reports and witness sketches show similar beings. In 1993, an eight-year-old girl from Alaska, identified by the pseudonym Sarah, reported waking in her family’s living room and seeing three or four Grey beings nearby. She described them as having grey skin, huge black eyes, extremely thin bodies, long arms, and elongated fingers.

A sketch madee related to the 1994 Ariel School Encounter depicts a large-headed, extremely thin being standing near the trees while a group of schoolchildren watch from the playground.

News Comets probably Didn't Seed Life on Earth after all, new study suggests

The theory that comets successfully delivered the molecular building blocks for life on Earth is a long-standing one, since comets are known to carry many of these molecules.

However, a new study challenges this idea.

The researchers, led by the University of Cambridge, found the cometary delivery of these building blocks would be—at best—a 'one-off fluke,' and not the steady rain of prebiotic molecules that had been theorized.

Using computer modeling, the researchers determined that comets travel too fast and at too sharp an angle to Earth's atmosphere for the fragile organic molecules to survive: they would almost certainly vaporize on impact with the surface.

However, the researchers also found that another planet in our system—Mars—could be a slightly more promising candidate for cometary delivery of prebiotic molecules, although this is still highly unlikely. The results are published in the journal Scientific Reports.

"Historically, scientists thought that comets were important for the origin of life on Earth, because they carried carbon- and nitrogen-bearing molecules, so these giant space snowballs were almost like a 'get out of jail free card' that brought all the molecules a planet would need to seed life," said lead author Dr. Richard

Anslow from Cambridge's Institute of Astronomy. "It's kind of a romantic idea, but our results suggest it's highly unlikely."

The new study shows just how rare that scenario is. The researchers used recent advances in comet impact simulations, comet-atmosphere interactions and dynamic modeling of the origin and evolution of comets to conduct their study.

Taken together, the researchers found that while the successful delivery of prebiotic molecules cannot be ruled out completely, it would be extremely unlikely.

Discussion Hybrid Alien Programs, Secret Agreements with Aliens, Reverse Engineering Bases in Nevada, a UFO Too Big to Move in Korea, Aliens Killing Military Soldiers, Hollywood Used to Promote Disclosure. All These Things Were Said by John Lear Nearly 40 Years Ago in 1987. Are They Real…or Circular Reporting?

In the last 10 years most of this stuff has been pretty new material to me as I've looked into UFOs. I was enthrawled by Bob Lazar's book Dreamland, awed by David Grusch's inverview with Ross Coulthart about a secret government agreement with aliens, flabergasted by Coulthart's statement that there was a UFO too big to move and Steven Greer's statement that it under a base in South Korea, and blown away by Matthew Gaetz's comment that he had been told there was an Alien Hybrid breeding program in America?

It has felt like the alien series "V" was a Discovery Channel documentary, and maybe it is! Maybe all these unreal statements are...real.

However, among all these amazing revelations in researching UFO stuff I came across a press release by John Lear regarding UFOs on December 29th, 1987 (see copy of full statement at the bottom of this post, also found here: https://cdn.preterhuman.net/texts/alien.ufo/UFOBBS/1000/1953.ufo)

This was 1987, before John Lear met Bob Lazar, around the time David Grusch was just being born, John Lear was making statement about UFOs that sound extremely similar to the sensational statements were are hearing today:

1. Secret Agreement with Aliens:

Excerpt from John Lear 1987 press release statement:

"During the period of 1969-1971, MJ-12 representing the U.S. Government made a deal with these creatures, called EBE's (Extraterrestrial Biological Entities, named by Detley Bronk, original MJ-12 member and 6th President of Johns
 Hopkins University).

The "deal" was that in exchange for "technology" that they would provide to
us, we agreed to "ignore" the abductions that were going on and suppress
information on the cattle mutilations.  The EBE's assured MJ-12 that the
abductions (usually lasting about 2 hours) were merely the ongoing monitoring
 of developing civilizations."

Does this sound familiar?

A deal to exchange technology for allowing abductions? It is insinuated by current UFO podcasts all the time as inferred speculation from sources....but Lear was saying this before any of them.

2. Hybrid Breeding Programs

Excerpt from John Lear 1987 press release statement:

"In fact, the purposes for the abductions turned out to be:

(1) The insertion of a 3mm spherical device through the nasal cavity of the
abductee into the brain. the device is used for the biological
monitoring, tracking, and control of the abductee.

(2) Implementation of Posthypnotic Suggestion to carry out a specific activity
during a specific time period, the actuation of which will occur
within the next 2 to 5 years.

(3) Termination of some people so that they could function as living sources
for biological material and substances.

(4) Termination of individuals who represent a threat to the continuation of
their activity.

(5) Effect genetic engineering experiments.

(6) Impregnation of human females and early termination of pregnancies to
secure the crossbreed infant."

FORTY YEARS AGO, Lear was talking about hybrid crossbreeding experiments before any of the 2026 news of this alleged program.

3. A UFO in Korea that was too big to move

Excerpt from John Lear 1987 press release statement:

"Thousands of sightings occurred during the Korean war and several more saucers
were retrieved by the Air Force.  Some were stored at Wright-Patterson Air
Force Base, some were stored at Air Force bases near the location of the crash
sight.

One saucer was so enormous and the logistic problems in transportation so
enormous that it was buried at the crash sight and remains there today"

When I heard Ross Coulthart say something similar, I thought it was the first time this had ever been mentioned publicly, and it blew my mind!

But Lear was talking about an enormous UFO that couldn't be moved back in 1987???

4. Secret Reverse Engineering Base in Nevada

Excerpt from John Lear 1987 press release statement:

"Moore is also in possession of more Aquarius documents, a few pages of which
leaked out several years ago and detailed the supersecret NSA project which had
been denied by them until just recently.  In a letter to Senator John Glenn,
NSA's Director of Policy, Julia B. Wetzel, wrote, "Apparently there is or was
an Air Force project with that name (Aquarius) which dealt with UFO's.
Coincidently, there is also an NSA project by that name."  NSA's project
Aquarius deals specifically with the "communications with the aliens" (the EBE
s).  Within the Aquarius program was project "Snowbird", a project to test-fly
a recovered alien aircraft at Groom Lake, Nevada.  This project continues today
at that location.  In the words of an individual who works at Groom Lake, "Our
people are much better at taking things apart than they are at putting them
back together."

Remember this was a year BEFORE John Lear and Bob Lazar ever knew one another, and Lear was telling the story of reverse engineering UFO at a secret base at Groom Lake.

I personally believe Lazar got his story idea of S4 from these stories from Lear, that are based off the Project Aquarious/Project Snowbird, which most believed were fabrications by Bill Moore and Richard Doty. (Mirage Men a must watch movie)

5. Aliens killing military soldiers in 1979

Excerpt from John Lear 1987 press release statement:

"In 1979 there was an altercation of sorts at the Dulce laboratory.  A special
armed forces unit was called in to try and free a number of our people trapped
in the facility, who had become aware of what was really going on.  According
to one source, 66 of the soldiers were killed and our people were not freed."

This reminds me of the more recent statements attributed to Grusch about reptilians killing military personnel, resulting in the termination of the reptilians.

It's a different story, of course, but it has similar elements.

(Many UFO researchers now regard the Dulce incident as a fabricated story connected to Richard Doty's intelligence and disinformation activities surrounding the Paul Bennewitz affair.)

6. Hollywood Used to aclamate the public to aliens

Excerpt from John Lear 1987 press release statement:

"By 1984, MJ-12 must have been in stark terror at the mistake they had made in
dealing with the EBE's.  They had subtly promoted "Close Encounters of the
Third Kind" and "E.T." to get the public used to "odd looking" aliens that were
compassionate, be nevolent and very much our "space brothers".  MJ-12 "sold"
the EBE's to the public, and were now faced with the fact that quite the
opposite was true.  In addition, a plan was formulated in 1968 to make the
public aware of the existence of aliens on earth over the next 20 years to be
culminated with several documentaries to be released during 1985-1987 period of
time.  These documentaries would explain the history and intentions of the
EBEs.The discovery of the "Grand Deception" put the entire plans, hopes and
dreams of MJ-12 into utter confusion and panic."

This has been a common theme in UFO disclosure discussions today, especially during the lead-up to this year's Disclosure Day movie.

But Lear was making these statements nearly 40 years ago!

7. Today: Something big is about to happen in 2027...or 2034

Not from the press release but fom John Lear a month later with George Knapp on the Show "On the Record" January 1988

https://youtu.be/saijeIm3Wjo?si=npMBu9LHYI7lp4-v&t=356

Knapp: "What would you like to say to people out there to prepare them for it? Now you've made allusions a couple of times when I've had you on the program that something is coming... Why do you think something is coming, what's coming, and how should we get ready for it?"

John Lear: "There's really no way to get ready for it. The reason I think it's coming is because I have contacts within the government that tell me that they're bracing themselves for something, but they're not going to tell us about it."

Does this sound like Groundhog Day?

In that 1988 interview, Lear was essentially saying:

"Something big is about to happen. My government contacts are telling me they're preparing for it, but they won't tell me what it is."

Doesn't that sound remarkably familiar?

It's extremely close to the statements we're hearing today about 2027 and other proposed disclosure dates.

There are some other similarities of UFO discussion in 2026 to Lear's 1987 statement (and 1988 Knapp interview) but these were the main ones I noticed.

So what does this mean? I see three possibilities

1. Lear's statement in 1987 was 100% correct and we are hearing the facts again in 2026

2. Lear was reporting made up stories that have been circulated for so long that they are now considered reality.

3. Hybrid of statements 1 and 2. Lear's statement is a mixture of fact and fiction

Personally, I think it's very unlikely that all those statements from 1987 were true.

I can't rule out the possibility that Lear had some things right and that we're simply rediscovering those same truths today.

But I personally lean closer toward the second explanation.

I think it's entirely possible that many of the sensational UFO claims being made today are actually decades-old stories that have been repeated, recycled, and embellished so many times that speculation has gradually transformed into what people now accept as fact.

What are your thoughts?

Did Lear get some things right nearly 40 years ago, and we are finally getting closer to the truth about UFOs, or are we simply hearing the same stories from 40 years ago, repackaged for a new generation?

I hope we find out one way or the other soon.

Statement Released By:

John Lear

December 29, 1987

John Lear, a captain for a major US Airline has flown over 160 different types
of aircraft in over 50 different countries.  He holds 17 world speed record in
the Lear Jet and is the only pilot ever to hold every airline certificate
issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. Mr. Lear has flown missions
worldwide for the CIA and other government agencies.   A former Nevada State
Senator candidate, he is the son of William P. Lear, designer of the Lear Jet
executive airplane, the 8-track stereo, and founder of Lear Siegler
Corporation. Lear became interested in the subject of UFOs 13 months ago after
talking with United States Air Force Personnel who had witnessed a UFO landing
at Bentwaters AFB, near London, England, and three small aliens walking up to
the Wing Commander.

Note to the Press:
The government of the United States continues to rely on your personal and
professional gullibility to suppress the information contained herein.  Your
cooperation over the past 40 years has exceeded our wildest expectations and we
salute you.

"The sun does not revolve around the Earth"
"The United States Government has been in business with little gray
 extraterrestrials for about 20 years"

The first truth stated here got Giordano Bruno burned at the stake in AD 1600
for daring to propose that it was real.  The second truth has gotten far more
people killed trying to state it publicly than will ever be known.

But the truth must be told.  The fact that the Earth revolves around the sun
was successfully suppressed by the church for over 200 years.  It eventually
cause a major upheaval in the church, government, and thought.  A realignment
of social and traditional values.  That was in the 1800's.

Now, about 400 years after the first truth was pronounced we must again face
the shocking facts.  The "horrible truth" the government has been hiding from
us over 40 years.  Unfortunately, the "horrible truth" is far more horrible
 than the government ever imagined.

In its effort to protect democracy, our government sold us to the aliens.  And
here is how it happened.  But before I begin, I'd like to offer a word in the
defense of those who bargained us away.  They had the best of intentions.

Germany may have recovered a flying saucer as early as 1939.  General James H.
Doolittle went to Sweden in 1946 to inspect a flying saucer that had crashed
there in Spitzbergen.

The "horrible truth" was known by only a very few persons: They were indeed
ugly little creatures, shaped like praying mantises and who were more advanced
than us by perhaps a billion years. Of the original group that were the first
to learn the "horrible truth", several committed suicide, the most prominent of
which was General James V. Forrestal who jumped to his death from a 16th story
hospital window. General Forrestal's medical records are sealed to this day.

President Truman quickly put a lid on the secret and turned the screws so tight
that the general public still thinks that flying saucers are a joke.  Have I
ever got a surprise for them.

In 1947, President Truman established a group of 12 of the top military
scientific personnel of their time.  They were known as MJ-12. Although the
group exists today, none of the original members are still alive. The last one
to die was Gordon Gray, former Secretary of the Army, in 1984.  As each member
passed away, the group itself appointed a new member to fill the position.
There is some speculation that the group known as MJ-12 expanded to at least
 several more members.

There were several more saucer crashes in the late 1940's, one in Roswell, New
Mexico, one in Aztec, New Mexico, and one near Laredo,Texas, about 30 miles
inside the Mexican border.

Consider, if you will, the position of the United States Government at that
time.  They proudly thought of themselves as the most powerful nation on Earth,
having recently produced the atomic bomb, and achievement so stupendous, it
would take Russia 4 years to catch up, and only with the help of traitors to
Democracy.  They had built a jet aircraft that had exceeded the speed of sound
in flight. They had built jet bombers with intercontinental range that could
carry weapons of enormous destruction.  The post war era, and the future seemed
bright.  Now imagine what it was like for those same leaders, all of whom had
witnessed the panic of Orson Wells' radio broadcast, "The War of the Worlds",
in 1938.  Thousands of Americans panicked at a realistically presented invasion
of Earth by beings from another planet. Imagine their horror as they actually
viewed the dead bodies of these frightening looking little creatures with
enormous eyes, reptilian skin and claw like fingers.  Imagine their shock as
they attempted to determine how these strange "saucers" were powered and could
discover no part even remotely similar to components they were familiar with:
no cylinders or pistons, no vacuum tubes or turbines or hydraulic actuators.
It is only when you fully understand the overwhelming helplessness the
government was faced with in the late 40's that you can comprehend their
perceived need for a total, thorough and sweeping cover up, to include
the use of "deadly force".

The cover-up was so successful that as late as 1985 a senior scientist with the
Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, Dr. Al Hibbs, would look at
a video tape of an enormous flying saucer and state the record, "I'm not going
to assign an ything to that (UFO) phenomena without a lot more data".  Dr.
Hibbs was looking at the naked emperor and saying, "He certainly looks naked,
but that doesn't prove he's naked."

In July of 1952, a panicked government watched helplessly as squadron of
"flying saucers" flew over Washington, D.C., and buzzed the White House, the
Capitol Building, and the Pentagon.  It took all the imagination and
intimidation the government could muster to force that incident out of the
memory of the public.

Thousands of sightings occurred during the Korean war and several more saucers
were retrieved by the Air Force.  Some were stored at Wright-Patterson Air
Force Base, some were stored at Air Force bases near the location of the crash
sight.

One saucer was so enormous and the logistic problems in transportation so
enormous that it was buried at the crash sight and remains there today.  The
stories are legendary on transporting crashed saucers over long distances,
moving only at night, purchasing complete farms, slashing through forests,
blocking major highways, sometimes driving 2 and 3 lo-boys in tandem with an
extraterrestrial load a hundred feet in diameter.

On April 30, 1964, the first communication between these aliens and the U.S.
Government took place at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.  Three saucers
landed at a prearranged area and a meeting was held between the aliens and
intelligence officers of the U.S. Government.

During the period of 1969-1971, MJ-12 representing the U.S. Government made a
deal with these creatures, called EBE's (Extraterrestrial Biological Entities,
named by Detley Bronk, original MJ-12 member and 6th President of Johns
 Hopkins University).
The "deal" was that in exchange for "technology" that they would provide to
us, we agreed to "ignore" the abductions that were going on and suppress
information on the cattle mutilations.  The EBE's assured MJ-12 that the
abductions (usually lasting about 2 hours) were merely the ongoing monitoring
 of developing civilizations.

In fact, the purposes for the abductions turned out to be:

(1) The insertion of a 3mm spherical device through the nasal cavity of the
abductee into the brain. the device is used for the biological
monitoring, tracking, and control of the abductee.

(2) Implementation of Posthypnotic Suggestion to carry out a specific activity
during a specific time period, the actuation of which will occur
within the next 2 to 5 years.

(3) Termination of some people so that they could function as living sources
for biological material and substances.

(4) Termination of individuals who represent a threat to the continuation of
their activity.

(5) Effect genetic engineering experiments.

(6) Impregnation of human females and early termination of pregnancies to
secure the crossbreed infant.

The U.S. Government was not initially aware of the far reaching consequences of
their "deal".  They were led to believe that the abductions were essentially
benign and since they figured the abductions would probably go on anyway
whether they agreed or not, they merely insisted that a current list of
abductees be submitted, on a periodic basis, to MJ-12 and the National Security
Council.  Does this sound incredible? An actual list of abductees sent to the
National Security Council?  Read on, because I have news for you.

The EBEs have a genetic disorder in that their digestive system is atrophied
and not functional.  Some speculate that they were involved in some type of
accident or nuclear war, or possibly on the back side of an evolutionary
genetic curve.  In order to sustain themselves they use an enzyme or hormonal
secretion obtained from the tissue that they extract from humans and animals.
(Note: Cows and Humans are genetically similar.  In the event of a national
disaster, cow's blood can be used by humans.)

The secretions obtained are then mixed with hydrogen peroxide and applied on
the skin by spreading or dipping parts of their bodies in the solution.  The
body absorbs the solution, then excretes the waste back through the skin.  The
cattle mutilations that were prevalent throughout the period from 1973 to 1983
and publicly noted through newspaper and magazine stories and included a
documentary produced by Linda Howe for the Denver CBS affiliate KMGH-TV, were
for the collection of these tissues by the aliens. The mutilations inc
luded genitals taken, rectums cored out to the colon, eyes, tongue, and throat
all surgically removed with extreme precision.  In some cases the incisions
were made by cutting between the cells, a process we are not yet capable of
performing in the field.  In many of the mutilations there was no blood found
at all in the carcass, yet there was no vascular collapse of the internal
organs.  This has been also noted in the human mutilations, one of the first of
which was Sgt. Jonathan P. Louette at the White Sands Missile Test Range in
1956, who was found three days after an Air Force Major had witnessed his
abduction by a "disk shaped" object at 0300 while on a search for missile
debris downrange.  His genitals had been removed, rectum cored out in a
surgically precise "plug" up to the colon, eyes removed and all blood removed
with, again, no vascular collapse.  From some of the evidence it is apparent
that this surgery is accomplished, in most cases, while the victim, animal or
human, is still alive.

The various parts of the body are taken to various underground laboratories,
one of which is known to be near the small New Mexico town of Dulce.  This
jointly occupied (CIA-Alien) facility has been described as enormous, with huge
tiled walls that "go on forever".  Witnesses have reported huge vats filled
with amber liquid with parts of human bodies being stirred inside.

After the initial agreement, Groom Lake, one of this nations most secret test
centers, was closed for a period of about a year, sometime between about 1972
and 1974, and a huge underground facility was constructed for and with the
help of the EBE's. The "bargained for" technology was set in place but could
only be operated by the EBE's themselves.  Needless to say, the advanced
technology could not be used against the EBE's themselves, even if needed.

During the period between 1979 and 1983 it became increasingly obvious to MJ-12
that things were not going as planned. It became known that many more people
(in the thousands) were being abducted than were listed  on the official
abduction lists.  In addition it became obvious that some, not all, but some,
of the nation's missing children had been used for secretions and other parts
 required by the aliens.

In 1979 there was an altercation of sorts at the Dulce laboratory.  A special
armed forces unit was called in to try and free a number of our people trapped
in the facility, who had become aware of what was really going on.  According
to one source, 66 of the soldiers were killed and our people were not freed.

By 1984, MJ-12 must have been in stark terror at the mistake they had made in
dealing with the EBE's.
In addition, a plan was formulated in 1968 to make the
public aware of the existence of aliens on earth over the next 20 years to be
culminated with several documentaries to be released during 1985-1987 period of
time.  These documentaries would explain the history and intentions of the
EBEs.The discovery of the "Grand Deception" put the entire plans, hopes and
dreams of MJ-12 into utter confusion and panic.

Meeting at the "Country Club", a remote lodge with private golf course,
comfortable sleeping and working quarters, and its own private airstrip built
by and exclusively for the member of MJ-12, it was a factional fight of what to
do now.  Part of MJ-12 wanted to confess the whole scheme and shambles it had
become to the public, beg their forgiveness and ask for their support.  The
other part (and majority) of MJ-12 argued that there was no way they could do
that, that the situation was untenable and there was no use in exciting the
public with the "horrible truth" and that the best plan was to continue the
development of a weapon that could be used against the EBE's under the guise of
"SDI",the Strategic Defense Initiative, which had nothing whatsoever to do with
a defense for inbound Russian nuclear missiles.  As these words are being
written, Dr. Edward Teller, "father" of the H-Bomb is personally in the test
tunnels of the Nevada Test Site, driving his workers and associates in the
words of one, "like a man possessed".  And well he should, for Dr. Teller is a
member of MJ-12 along with Dr. Kissenger, Admiral Bobby Inman, and possibly
Admiral Poindexter, to name a few of the current members of MJ-12.

Before the "Grand Deception" was discovered and according to a meticulous plan
of metered release of information to the public, several documentaries and
video tapes were made.  William Moore, a Burbank, California, based UFO
researcher who wrote "The Roswell Incident", a book published in 1980 that
detailed the crash, recovery and subsequent cover-up of a UFO with  four alien
bodies, has a video tape of two newsmen interviewing a military officer
associated with MJ-12.  This military officer answers questions relating to the
history of MJ-12 and the cover-up, the recovery of a number of flying saucers
and the existence of a live alien (one of three living aliens captured and
designated, or named, EBE-1, EBE-2, and EBE-3, being held in a facility
designated as YY-II at Los Alamos, New Mexico.  The only other facility of this
type, which is electromagnetically secure, is at Edwards Air Force Base in
Mojave, California).  The officer name s as previously mentioned plus a few
others: Harold Brown, Richard Helms, Gen. Vernon Walters, JPL's Dr. Lew Allen
and Dr. Theodore von Karman, to name a few of the current and past members of
MJ-12.

The officer also relates the fact that the EBE's claim to have created Christ.
The EBEs have a type of recording device that has recorded all of Earth's
history and can display it in the form of a hologram.  This hologram can be
filmed but because of the way holograms work does not come out very clear on
movie film or video tape.  The crucifixion of Christ on the Mount of Olives has
allegedly been put on film to show the public.  The EBEs claim to have created
Christ, which, in view of the "Grand Deception", could be an effort to disrupt
traditional values for undetermined reasons.

Another video tape allegedly in existence is an interview with an EBE . Since
EBE's communicate telepathically, an Air Force Colonel serves as an
interpreter.  Just before the recent stock market correction in October of
1987, several newsmen, including Bill Moore, had been invited to Washington,
D.C., to personally film the EBE in a similar type interview, and distribute
the film to the public. Apparently, because of the correction in the market, it
was felt the timing was not propitious.  In any case, it certainly seems like
an odd method to inform the public of extraterrestrials, but it would be in
keeping with the actions of a panicked organization who at this point in time
doesn't know which way to turn.

Moore is also in possession of more Aquarius documents, a few pages of which
leaked out several years ago and detailed the supersecret NSA project which had
been denied by them until just recently.

Moore, who claims he has a contact with MJ-12, feels that they have been
stringing him along, slipping him documents and providing him leads, promising
to go public with some of the information on extraterrestrials by the end of
1987.

Certain of Moore's statements lead one to believe that Moore himself is a
government agent working for MJ-12, not to be strung along, but string along
ever hopeful UFOlogists that the truth is just around the corner.
Consider:

  1. Moore states emphatically that he is not a government agent, although when
  2. Lee Graham (a Southern California based UFOlogist) was investigated by DIS
  3. (Defense Investigative Service) for possession of classified documents
  4. received from Moore, Moore himself was not.
  5. Moore states emphatically that the cattle mutilations of 1973-1983 were a
  6. hoax by Linda Howe (producer of "A Strange Harvest") to create publicity
  7. for herself. He cites the book "Mute Evidence" as the bottom line of the
  8. hoax.  "Mute Evidence" was a government sponsored book to explain the
  9. mutilations in conventional terms.
  10. Moore states that the U.S.A.F. Academy physics book, "Introductory Space
  11. Science", vol. II chapter 13, entitled  "Unidentified Flying Objects",
  12. which describes four of the most commonly seen aliens (one of which is the
  13. EBE) was written by Lt. Col. Edward R. Therkelson and Major Donald B.
  14. Carpenter, Air Force personnel who did not know what they were talking
  15. about and were merely citing  "crackpot" references.  He, Moore, states
  16. that the book was withdrawn to excise the chapter.

If the government felt they were being forced to acknowledge the existence of
aliens on Earth because of the overwhelming evidence such as the October and
November sightings in Wytheville, Va., and recently released books such as
"Night Siege" (Hynek , J. Allen; Imbrogno, Phillip J.; Pratt, Bob: Night Siege,
Ballantine Books, Random House, New York), and taking into consideration the
"grand deception" and obviously hostile intentions of the EBEs, it might be
expedient for MJ-12 to admit the EBEs but conceal the information on the
mutilations and abductions.  If MJ-12 and Moore were in some kind of agreement
then it would be beneficial to Moore to tow the party line.  For example, MJ-12
would say..."here are some more genuine documents...but remember...no talking
about the mutilations or abductions".  This would be beneficial to Moore as it
would supply the evidence to support his theory that E.T.'s exist but deny the
truth about the E.T.s.  However, if Moore was indeed working for MJ-12, he
would follow the party line anyway...admitting the E.T.s but pooh poohing the
mutilations and abductions.  If working alone, Moore might not even be aware of
the "grand deception".

Time will tell.  It is possible that Moore will go ahead and release the video
interview with the military officer around the first of the year, as he has
promised.  From MJ-12's point of view, the public would be exposed to the
information without really having to believe it because Moore is essentially
not as credible a source as, say, the President of the United States.  After a
few months of digestion and discussion, a more credible source could emerge
with a statement that yes in fact the interview was essentially factual.  This
scenario would cushion somewhat the blow to the public.  If, however, Moore
does not release the tape by, say, February 1 of 1988, but comes instead with a
story similar to: "MJ-12 has informed me that they are definitely planning a
release of all information by October of 88.  I have seen the plan and have
seen the guarantee that this will happen, so I have decided to withhold the
release of my video tape at this time as it may cause some problems with MJ
-12's plans."  This would in effect buy more time for MJ-12 and time is what
they desperately need.

Now you ask, "Why haven't I heard about any of this?"  Who do you think you
would hear it from?  Dan Rather?  Tom Brokaw?  Sam Donaldson? Wrong.  These
people just read the news, they don't find it.  They have ladies who call and
interview witnesses and verify statements on stories coming over the wire
(either AP or UPI).  It's not like Dan Rather would go down to Wytheville,
Virginia, and dig into why there were FOUR THOUSAND reported sightings in
October and November of 1987. Better that Tom Brokaw or someone else should
risk their credibility on this type of story. Tom Brokaw?  Tom wants Sam
Donaldson to risk his  credibility. No one, but no one, is going to risk their
neck on such outlandish ideas, regardless of how many people report sightings
of 900 foot objects running them off the road.  In the case of the Wytheville
sightings, dozens of vans with NASA lettered on the side failed to interest
newsmen.  And those that asked questions were informed that NASA was doing a
weather survey.

Well then, you ask, what about our scientists? What about Carl Sagan? Isaac
Asimov?  Arthur C. Clarke?  Wouldn't they have known?  If Carl Sagan knows then
he is committing a great fraud through the solicitation of memberships in the
Planetary Society, "to search for extraterrestrial intelligence".  Another
charade into which the U.S. Government dumps million of dollar every year is
the radiotelescope in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, operated by Cornell University with
- guess who? - Carl Sagan. Cornell is ostensibly searching for signals from
Outer Space, a sign maybe, that somebody is out there.  It is hard to believe
that relatively intelligent astronomers like Sagan could be so ignorant.

What about Isaac Asimov?  Surely the most prolific science fiction writer of
all time would have guessed by now that there must be an enormous cover-up?
Maybe, but if he knows he's not saying.  Perhaps he's afraid that Foundation
and Empire will turn out to be inaccurate.

What about Arthur C. Clarke?  Surely the most technically accurate of Science
Fiction writers with very close ties to NASA would have at least a hint of
what's really going on.  Again, if so he isn't talking.  In a recent Science
Fiction survey, Clarke estimates that contact with extraterrestrial intelligent
life would not occur before the 21st Century.

If the government won't tell us the truth and the major networks won't even
give it serious consideration, then what is the big picture, anyway?  Are the
EBEs, having done a hundred thousand or more abductions (possibly millions
worldwide), built an untold number of secret underground bases (Groom Lake,
Nevada; Sunspot, Datil, Roswell, and Pie Town, New Mexico, just to name a few)
getting ready to return to wherever they came from?  Or, form the obvious
preparations are we to assume that they are getting ready for a big move?  Or
is the more sinister and most probable situation that the invasion is
essentially complete and it is all over but the screaming?

A well planned invasion of Earth for it's resources and benefits would not
begin with mass landings of ray-gun equipped aliens.  A properly planned and
executed invasion by a civilization thousands and probably hundreds of
thousands of years in advance of us would most likely be complete before even a
handful of people, say 12?, realized what was happening.  No fuss, no muss.
The best advice I can give you is this: Next time you see a flying saucer and
are awed by its obvious display of technology and gorgeous lights of pure color
- RUN LIKE HELL!

A photograph showing a Tall Grey alien wearing a jumpsuit, with what appears to be a crescent-moon chest insignia, circulated online in the early 2000s.

Its photographer, date, and exact location remain unknown. By 2013, the image was being described online as having been taken in Argentina, although no source, witness, city, or original report was provided for that attribution.

Reports of extraterrestrial humanoids wearing tight-fitting jumpsuits or one-piece uniforms marked with insignias recur throughout UFO literature. Witnesses have described emblems placed on the chest, shoulder, or sleeve, including triangles, birds, crescents, geometric symbols, and other unidentified designs.

Jack T., a St. Catharines abductee who underwent regression in 1982, later drew the humanoids and craft he said he encountered, including one figure in a dark blue uniform; the sketches appeared in Flying Saucer Review.

William F. Hamilton, a UFO researcher who reported missing time near Tikaboo Valley in 1993, later drew a six-foot gray being he called Quaylar wearing a fitted two-tone suit with a triangular chest emblem; the sketch appeared in the MUFON UFO Journal.

Discussion Why have no alleged pieces of exotic crafts ever been subjected to rigorous, secure, transparent, instrument-based analysis?

People like Art Bell and Linda Howe and others claimed to have owned pieces of the Roswell craft, some of them larger than just microscopic flakes. They're far from the only people who claim to have had artifacts of NHI tech (e.g. alien implants).

It would be so simple to develop highly convincing evidence of NHI tech if you already had one of these fragments. Using a technique called atom prob e tomography (machines sold by a company called CAMECA), a technician can whittle a tiny piece of metal to an even tinier point (like 100 nm squared), then vaporize one atom at a time and identify that specific atom, for every atom in every layer of the sample. No matter how complex the chemical structure of the sample is, a volume equivalent to tens of millions of atoms can be exactly mapped in 3D space.

So all you would need to do to convince open-minded skeptics is:

- Obtain one of these fragments

- Put it on display under a microscope with a 24/7 live stream of it.

- Come up with a fair system for distribution of samples to materials science experts

- Break off/cut off pieces on the live stream and distribute, say, half of the mass of the fragment to independent scientists

- Have each tester transparently subject their sample to non-destructive destructive testing of various kinds and video tape the whole process.

It would be so easy! (Relatively speaking)

If I had one of those fragments, I would do exactly this.

I wouldn't keep this paradigm-shifting NHI piece of material "in safe keeping" out of sight until I saw fit to retrieve it. This is a piece of material that would change the whole world if some people who knew what they were doing could examine it, not your heirloom doll or piece of jewelry.

I wouldn't only give it to one or two "trusted" experts. Science can be done in public and with everyone's participation. What matters is their experience with materials analysis and willingness to publish everything. Even with a sample that weighs a gram, there is plenty of material to go around. Breaking up the fragment into micro-fragments is an acceptable price to pay.

I wouldn't condition it on ensuring that the fragment stays intact or that the sample is not destroyed in the process of collecting data. The craft itself has already been shattered, the implant you removed has stopped working, and Fate has supposedly put a tiny piece of this awesome technology in your possession. Releasing the petabytes of information in that little speck of metal is more important than preserving it for posterity.

Why haven't the custodians of these supposed samples (implants, UFO pieces) done anything like this? I'm trying to keep an open mind on this and not jump to any unjustified conclusions.

If anyone knows someone who has such materials, you should ask them why they're not willing to do this and let us know!

If you have anomalous materials that you are willing to scientifically test, please let me know. I am a scientist and can facilitate connections at some highly reputable U.S. institutions.

Discussion Ancient humans possibility

We have all heard of the concept of ancient aliens that built and shaped our human civilisations

I do not believe this to be true at all but what if we are those ancient aliens

People also ask where are all the aliens the universe is vast so where are they

And in almost any media involving aliens their is a precusor super smart alien civilisation

So what if humanity is that civilisation what if the reason we’ve not discovered any aliens is because we’re the first and other aliens will be shaped by exploring the ruins of our once great civilisation

In 1996, Michael Wolf published The Catchers of Heaven: A Trilogy, a book centered on his claims of working inside classified U.S. government programs involving extraterrestrials.

The front and back covers included two photographs that Wolf claimed showed genuine extraterrestrials.

The being on the front cover was identified as KLT, pronounced “Kolta,” a Zeta Grey whom Wolf described as a friend and the extraterrestrial he encountered most frequently.

The man pictured on the rear cover was identified by Wolf as Anon “Prince” Sa Ra, a human-looking Pleiadian extraterrestrial and friend of Wolf’s.

Years after Wolf’s death, a third alleged photograph surfaced through French engineer Philippe de la Messuzière, who described Wolf as a friend and claimed to have met Kolta at Wolf’s apartment.

Question What would you do if you encountered an alien? Well, it depends if it’s one of the good ones, I wouldn’t mind; in fact, I’d be happy. But if it were one of the bad ones the kind that wants to conquer Earththen I’d be scared.

Historical Roswell, Part One: The 1947 Record and the Material Witnesses

Part 14 of a series reassessing the documentary record behind the 1933 Magenta narrative.

TL;DR

  • The 1947 sources establish a debris recovery, a “flying disc” announcement and a same-day balloon explanation.
  • They describe balloon-and-reflector material, without reporting bodies or an intact spacecraft.
  • A 1974 suppression account predates Marcel’s public disclosures.
  • The later case rests on participants’ unusual-material, shipment and secrecy testimony.
  • Randle’s interviews preserve evidence worth testing alongside the official explanation, including written secrecy statements; several other witnesses failed documentary checks.

Earlier in the series:

Part 1 — Before the Saucers: How Captured Technology Was Exploited, 1943–1950

Part 12 — What Was in Wright Pat’s Hangar 18

Part 13 - The 1946 Swedish Ghost Rockets and the Peenemunde Hypothesis

Roswell anchors many later recovery claims in this series. This first of three posts establishes the 1947 record, the development of the retrieval narrative and the retained material-and-secrecy testimony. Part 15 examines the official investigations and later proof claims. Part 16 follows shipment, custody, program and sample evidence.

Book references use page positions counted from the opening page of the supplied editions, matching the case indexes. Government reports retain printed pagination unless a scan position is specified.

1. 8 July 1947: the announcement

Around noon on Tuesday 8 July 1947, the public information office of the 509th Bomb Group at Roswell Army Air Field issued a release. As carried by the Associated Press (Los Angeles Herald-Express, 8 July 1947):

“The many rumors regarding the flying disc became a reality yesterday when the intelligence office of the 509th (atomic) bomb group of the Eighth Air Force, Roswell Army Air Field, was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disc through the co-operation of one of the local ranchers and the sheriff’s office of Chaves County. The flying object landed on a ranch near Roswell some time last week. Not having phone facilities, the rancher stored the disc until such time as he was able to contact the sheriff’s office, who in turn notified Major Jesse A. Marcel of the 509th bomb group intelligence office. Action was immediately taken and the disc was picked up at the rancher’s home. It was inspected at the Roswell Army Air Field and subsequently flown by Major Marcel to higher headquarters.”

Other papers carried variants: the Sacramento Bee has “loaned” rather than “flown” (AP, 8 July), and the United Press version gets the sheriff’s name wrong. The Roswell Daily Record rewrote it for its front page, “RAAF CAPTURES FLYING SAUCER ON RANCH IN ROSWELL REGION,” noting that “no details of flying disk are revealed” (Roswell Daily Record, 8 July).

The release was written by Lieutenant Walter Haut. That Colonel William Blanchard, the base commander, ordered it comes from Haut’s later accounts. In 1947 Blanchard was reported as refusing to comment, and then as “on leave.”

2. The same evening: Fort Worth

By evening the material was at Eighth Air Force headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. An early ABC radio bulletin said Brigadier General Roger Ramey was having it shipped to Wright Field in Ohio (ABC, 8 July). Later that night the Eighth Air Force announced it was “a weather balloon and its kite,” and the Wright Field flight was canceled. AP quoted Ramey (Galveston Daily News, 9 July):

“I don’t say these devices are what people have called disks… There is no such gadget (as the disk) known to the army — at least this far down the line.”

Warrant Officer Irving Newton, a forecaster at the Fort Worth weather station, identified the debris; the Chicago Tribune quoted him: “That’s what’s left of a ray wind [Rawin] target.” Photographers from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram took pictures of Ramey, his chief of staff Colonel Thomas DuBose and Major Marcel with the material, now held by the University of Texas at Arlington (Ramey with debris; Marcel). One photograph shows a paper in Ramey’s hand; what it says is disputed, and the next post takes it up.

The Roswell Daily Record ran the reversal on 9 July under “Gen. Ramey Empties Roswell Saucer”: a “bundle of tinfoil, broken wood beams and rubber remnants of a balloon” (Roswell Daily Record, 9 July). The New York Times headline was “‘Disk’ Near Bomb Test Site Is Just a Weather Balloon” (New York Times, 9 July).

3. The rancher’s own account

On 9 July the Roswell Daily Record printed an interview with the rancher, W. W. “Mac” Brazel, under the headline “Harassed Rancher Who Located ‘Saucer’ Sorry He Told About It” (transcription and scan). It is the principal contemporary published account from the rancher who discovered the material. The newspaper scan matters: the transcription on the same page drops part of the bundle description.

  • When: “on June 14 he and 8-year old son Vernon were about 7 or 8 miles from the ranch house” when they came upon “a large area of bright wreckage.”
  • What: “rubber strips, tinfoil, a rather tough paper and sticks.” “Considerable scotch tape and some tape with flowers printed upon it had been used in the construction.”
  • How much: the rubber was “scattered over an area about 200 yards in diameter.” The tinfoil, paper, tape and sticks made “a bundle about three feet long and 7 or 8 inches thick”; the rubber made a separate bundle about 18–20 inches long and eight inches thick. “In all, he estimated, the entire lot would have weighed maybe five pounds.”
  • His judgment: he “had previously found two weather observation balloons on the ranch,” and said: “I am sure that what I found was not any weather observation balloon.”
  • Afterward: “if I find anything else besides a bomb they are going to have a hard time getting me to say anything about it.”

The article says Brazel was brought to the paper by W. E. Whitmore of radio station KGFL, and that after Sheriff George Wilcox called the base, “Maj. Jesse A. Marcel and a man in plain clothes accompanied him home.”

The dates do not fit neatly together. The interview places discovery on 14 June, a family collection on 4 July, and his visit to the sheriff on “Monday,” 7 July. The original announcement instead says the object landed “last week.” These are contemporary reported dates, not a chronology we can silently harmonize. Brazel also said he had not seen the object fall or seen it intact. His estimate of its original shape was a reconstruction.

His objection deserves to stay in the account. Brazel explicitly distinguished this material from two weather balloons he had previously found. That does not identify Mogul: familiarity with two balloons cannot establish which other apparatus he encountered. His inventory is compatible with balloon and radar-reflector components, while his own conclusion was that it differed from his previous finds. The article also reports eyelets, a paper fin, and no engine-like metal or propeller. Those observations are more useful for identification than converting his uncertainty into either an extraterrestrial verdict or a precise launch number.

4. The government’s own 1947 papers

The General Accounting Office’s 1995 search located two records originating in 1947 concerning the incident (GAO/NSIAD-95-187, pp. 1–5 and appendices I–II). That is a finding about a particular search, not proof that only two government records survive anywhere. The contemporary newspapers and photographs remain evidence as well.

The FBI teletype, 8 July 1947, 6:17 p.m. The Dallas field office reported a call from Eighth Air Force headquarters (FBI Vault; transcription):

“The disc is hexagonal in shape and was suspended from a ballon by cable, which ballon was approximately twenty feet in diameter. [Redacted] further advised that the object found resembles a high altitude weather balloon with a radar reflector, but that telephonic conversation between their office and Wright Field had not [crossed-out text] borne out this belief. Disc and balloon being transported to Wright Field by special plane for examination.”

The copy reproduced by GAO, printed p. 14, has crossed-out text between “not” and “borne out”; that mark should not be confused with the blacked-out identifying information elsewhere. The surviving sentence records an unresolved exchange, not a finding that Wright Field had identified an alien object.

The FBI was relaying an Eighth Air Force telephone report, rather than inspecting the material. Its message ends with no further FBI investigation being conducted. It preserves the state of the information reaching Dallas at 6:17 p.m., including a planned shipment; it is not a receipt proving delivery to Ohio.

The base history, July 1947. The combined history of the 509th Bomb Group and Roswell Army Air Field for July records (transcription):

“The Office of Public Information was kept quite busy during the month answering inquiries on the ‘flying disc’, which was reported to be in possession of the 509th Bomb Group. The object turned out to be a radar tracking balloon.”

This establishes the base’s recorded conclusion. It is an administrative history, not a laboratory report identifying a recovered sample. Nor are the FBI message and base history two independent physical examinations: both record information within the military’s account of the recovery.

The broader UFO correspondence. General Twining’s 23 September 1947 letter on “flying discs” does not mention Roswell and expressly notes the lack of crash-recovered exhibits available for the assessment. The Air Staff’s 28 October collection memo likewise supplies no Roswell recovery account. These documents matter because of their proximity to the event and their subject, but their silence cannot demonstrate what every compartment possessed. The Air Force’s 1994 report says Roswell was not referred to in Sign, Grudge or Blue Book (report). That wording is too absolute. Randle identifies a 10 July 1947 newspaper clipping in another case’s Blue Book file, reporting a “blistering rebuke” over the Roswell announcement (Project Blue Book—Exposed, 1997, p. 8; The Best of Project Blue Book, 2020, p. 7). The defensible distinction is between a reference to Roswell and an identified Roswell investigative case file. The clipping establishes the former; it does not supply the latter.

A difficult follow-up in 1948. In Roswell Revisited (2007), pp. 108–110, Randle reproduces Howard McCoy’s March 1948 Scientific Advisory Board remarks expressing a desire to recover a crashed object, and his November statement that physical evidence was lacking. McCoy headed Air Materiel Command’s intelligence division. Randle recognized the difficulty of reconciling these internal statements with a Roswell retrieval. A compartment excluding McCoy is a possible answer, but needs evidence of its own. These are affirmative statements about missing evidence, rather than mere failure to mention Roswell.

5. The seeds of the later story

A few 1947 items became important later.

  • Pressure on the base. A wire story on 9 July said Haut had reportedly been “shut up by two blistering phone calls from Washington,” that Blanchard was “on leave,” and that Marcel had reportedly told Brazel the object had “nothing to do with Army of Navy [sic] as far as I can tell” (Middletown Times Herald, 9 July).
  • Brazel’s reluctance. His “sorry he told about it” interview shows a man under attention and unhappy about it.
  • Wright Field. The FBI teletype and the ABC bulletin both have the material heading to Wright Field, even though the AP stories say the flight was canceled.

The public response extended beyond the base. A United Press dispatch of 9 July 1947 reported an Army and Navy campaign to stop flying-disc rumors, alongside the Roswell balloon explanation and a reported Washington rebuke (Honolulu Star-Bulletin, p. 1). Randle treats the timing as consequential (Understanding Roswell, pp. 315–316). The dispatch documents what was reported about the campaign; it does not establish that officials were suppressing knowledge of a recovered nonhuman craft.

These are contemporary reports worth preserving. The “blistering phone calls” are a wire story’s attributed report, rather than a surviving Washington directive. Brazel’s annoyance establishes his reaction to the publicity; by itself it does not document imprisonment or threats. The shipment references establish a reported plan. None supplies a contemporary account of bodies or an intact spacecraft.

Mogul in 1947. The Air Force’s 1994 explanation is that the debris came from Project Mogul, a classified New York University program launching trains of balloons with radar reflectors and acoustic sensors from Alamogordo to detect Soviet nuclear tests. The Air Force identified a 4 June launch, usually called “Flight 4,” as the likely source. Crary’s published journal records both a weather cancellation and a sonobuoy flown on a balloon cluster that day. The disputed step is identifying the cluster’s configuration and linking it to Brazel’s field. The next post examines the published journal and supporting interviews, rather than treating a retrospective flight identification as an observed fact from 1947.

6. Before the 1978 revival

Roswell did not vanish completely between 1947 and 1978. Ted Bloecher discussed it under “Hoaxes and Mistakes” in his 1967 *Report on the UFO Wave of 1947*, pp. I-13–I-14 (report; passage reproduced). He treated it as a publicity fiasco involving balloon equipment, while allowing the possibility of a secret balloon experiment. That is a pre-Mogul-disclosure suggestion, not evidence that he knew of a recovered spacecraft.

A recovery-and-suppression story was also in print by 1974. Randle reproduces an unnamed radio employee’s account from Saga’s UFO Report: a station manager allegedly saw metallic material being loaded for Wright-Patterson, and a message interrupted her attempted transmission with “Do not continue this transmission!” The account was later attributed to Lydia Sleppy. This publication predates Marcel’s public disclosures, giving the suppression allegation an earlier reporting history than the modern investigation (Understanding Roswell, 2022, pp. 316–319).

In Randle’s 5 February 1993 interview, Sleppy attributed the interruption to the FBI but could not identify an office. She described McBoyle as her source for the recovery and expressly denied that he mentioned bodies. The 1974 publication preserves an earlier allegation, not the original teletype or an authenticated FBI order. It should neither be erased by a claim that everything began in 1978 nor promoted into a contemporary record of the event.

The important change in 1978 was the renewed investigation of Marcel’s claim that the debris was extraordinary, followed by the attachment of body stories to the recovery. An earlier mention of Roswell is not necessarily an earlier version of that developed narrative.

The same distinction prevents a common documentary shortcut. The 22 March 1950 Guy Hottel memo reports a second- or third-hand story about three saucers and bodies in New Mexico; it does not name Roswell. The FBI’s own explanation says the Bureau never investigated that claim and has no reason to connect it to Roswell. The series’ Aztec post examines the separate history behind that material. Its existence does not fill the missing 1947 Roswell body record.

7. Early reporting and the retrieval narrative, 1974–1995

The table tracks milestones in the modern investigation and publication history. An interview date, first publication and later recollection of an earlier conversation are different things. These entries are not a claim to have established the first occasion on which anyone privately told a crash story.

Date Event What entered the record
1974 An unnamed radio employee’s recovery-and-suppression story appears in print Later attributed to Sleppy; predates Marcel’s public account without preserving the alleged stop message
Jan–Feb 1978 Stanton Friedman is told in Baton Rouge to contact retired officer Jesse Marcel (Stacy, 1981) A participant
7 Apr 1978 Leonard Stringfield interviews “Major J.M.” by telephone An early recorded investigative contact with Marcel; extraordinary debris, no bodies reported
July–Aug 1978 Stringfield’s MUFON symposium presentation and journal account (August article) Marcel’s debris story enters the modern published investigation; material that “could not be bent or broken”
Oct 1978 Vern and Jean Maltais tell Friedman their late friend Barney Barnett saw a crashed saucer with bodies (account history) A secondhand body story subsequently linked to Roswell; Barnett died in 1969; its date and location required reconstruction
Dec 1979–Feb 1980 Marcel interviewed by the National Enquirer (transcript) “It came to earth but not from earth”; “hieroglyphics”
Oct 1980 Berlitz and Moore, The Roswell Incident Barnett’s bodies placed on the Plains of San Agustin, 150 miles from the debris field
1984–87 The MJ-12 “Eisenhower Briefing Document” Four bodies “about two miles east of the wreckage site”
Feb 1989 Stringfield reports pilot “Pappy” Henderson, through his family (transcription) Bodies, secondhand; Henderson died in 1986
Aug 1989 Friedman interviews mortician Glenn Dennis Claimed calls about small caskets; an alleged nurse’s account of bodies, relayed by Dennis
Sept 1989 Unsolved Mysteries (NBC) National audience; witness hotline
Jan–Feb 1990 Gerald Anderson calls the hotline A craft and four occupants on the Plains, 5 July 1947
1989–90 Randle and Schmitt interview Lewis “Bill” Rickett; Randle interviews Edwin Easley Claimed unusual debris and security; Easley’s recorded refusal to discuss the incident, followed by an unrecorded exchange interpreted as supporting an extraterrestrial origin (Understanding Roswell, pp. 148–155, 199–205)
May–June 1990 Randle and Schmitt interview Arthur Exon A Wright Field officer’s later account of what colleagues said about debris and bodies; not his own laboratory examination
Jan 1991 Jaime Shandera publishes interviews with Thomas DuBose A cover-story claim, but an explicit denial that the photographed debris was substituted
July 1991 Randle and Schmitt, UFO Crash at Roswell One craft; bodies about two miles southeast of the debris field
16 Sept 1991 DuBose signs an affidavit A claimed sealed shipment through Washington toward Wright Field; the balloon explanation called a cover story
Aug 1992 Friedman and Berliner, Crash at Corona Two craft, eight aliens, two survivors
1993 Jim Ragsdale interviewed A craft and bodies seen while camping
1994 Randle and Schmitt, The Truth About the UFO Crash at Roswell “Steve MacKenzie” (Frank Kaufmann): radar track on 4 July, site about 35 miles north, five bodies
May 1995 Alien Autopsy film shown in London Film of an alien dissection, later admitted to be a staged “restoration”

8. What the construction shows

Some foundational body accounts came through intermediaries. Barnett’s story reached the modern Roswell investigation through friends after his death, and Henderson’s through his family after his. Those accounts cannot be treated as recorded interviews with the men themselves. Randle later cited the absence of an extraordinary event from Barnett’s wife’s 1947 diary as a reason to reject that dating (his assessment). That is relevant negative evidence, not a diary entry demonstrating that no event occurred.

Retellings are not necessarily independent witnesses. Stringfield, Friedman and Pratt interviewing Marcel produced several records of one participant’s testimony. They did not produce three independent recoveries. The Pratt transcript, headed 8 December 1979, also distinguishes what Marcel handled from what he later heard about another discovery to the west. Pratt’s bracketed annotation suggests earlier interviewers had told Marcel the Barnett story. The annotation is Pratt’s interpretation, but Marcel himself says he has no direct knowledge of the other find. His account cannot independently corroborate that second site.

The sites multiplied and moved. The bodies have been placed on the Plains of San Agustin, two miles east of the debris, two miles southeast, 35 miles north, and on Pine Lodge Road. The number of craft went from one to two. Brazel’s reported discovery date is 14 June; later reconstructions use dates including 2, 4 and 5 July. These are competing chronologies and locations. They should not be combined into a single accumulating body of confirmation.

Several witnesses who supplied detailed craft-and-body narratives failed important checks. That does not dispose of every late witness. It does require removing the failed accounts from reconstructions that once depended on them.

  • Gerald Anderson. The decisive problem is documentary rather than a disputed recollection of the desert. Friedman and Berliner publicly withdrew confidence in his testimony in the January 1993 MUFON UFO Journal, no. 297, citing his admission that he had falsified a document. Randle reproduces their statement and describes the investigators’ dispute (2019 account). That withdrawal does not prove that every separate body story was invented; it removes Anderson as reliable support for this one.
  • Frank Kaufmann. After his death, Rodeghier gained access to his office and papers with other investigators. Comparing his original military qualification record with the version he had supplied exposed substantial alterations. Randle and Rodeghier published the evidence, including reproduced documents, in “Frank Kaufmann Reconsidered,” International UFO Reporter, Fall 2002, pp. 8–9, 17–22 (article). Their conclusion was that his testimony could not be trusted. This is a documented collapse of supposed corroboration, not simply a disagreement over interpretation.
  • Jim Ragsdale. His versions changed substantially. Randle, who had helped bring the account into the literature, later rejected it as invented (Randle, 2015). His narrative should not remain in a witness count as if that reassessment never happened.
  • Glenn Dennis. Separate his claimed experiences—telephone inquiries and a hospital visit—from what a nurse allegedly told him about bodies. The latter is secondhand. The Air Force’s 1997 report reproduces a Dennis interview in appendix C, pp. 197–212, alongside its hospital-personnel research (Case Closed). Failure to identify the nurse is a serious obstacle to checking her account. It does not, by itself, establish that every interaction Dennis described was fabricated.

Marcel is the strongest documented recovery participant behind the extraordinary-debris claim. He was undeniably involved: the 1947 press names him and the Fort Worth photographs show him. In the Pratt interview he describes unusually resistant material and marked, wood-like members, and gives an extraterrestrial interpretation. He reports no personal observation of bodies.

His testimony deserves more than dismissal by association with Kaufmann or Anderson. It also needs to be read in full. His reported resistance to bending and burning is stronger evidence of perceived strangeness than the mere presence of foil and sticks. Yet these are remembered observations without an authenticated sample, laboratory result or contemporary test record. His confidence in the origin is an inference from those observations.

The biography still needs scrutiny. Robert Todd’s service-record critique became a major objection to Marcel’s credibility. Randle’s 5 April 2007 assessment also acknowledges serious discrepancies: he reports two Air Medals awarded for aerial service, rather than five for shooting down five enemy aircraft, and finds no support for the degree claim in Pratt’s notes. Randle distinguishes possible informal flying experience from qualification as a military pilot. He also notes that the original Pratt tape was reused and is unavailable for checking the transcript. These discrepancies require scrutiny without erasing Marcel’s documented role or identifying the recovered material.

There are differences between his early retellings. In Stringfield’s 1978 account, Marcel says he told the press it was a weather balloon to end the inquiries. In Pratt’s transcript, he emphasizes the public information officer’s initiative and Ramey’s instructions. That discrepancy concerns the handling of publicity; it does not erase his documented presence or establish the composition of the material.

The interview’s presentation can create an apparent change of testimony. Randle documents how The Roswell Incident paired a heavily cropped Marcel photograph with a fuller Ramey–DuBose picture, making the displayed debris look different. He also reports Moore circulating a revised transcript that changed one photograph to two after another image became known. That particular change belongs to the researcher’s transcript, rather than establishing that Marcel independently changed his account. Full-frame images show the same balloon-and-reflector material. The editing issue protects against an unfair credibility charge; it does not establish that a substitution occurred (Roswell in the 21st Century, 2016, pp. 193–198).

Material and secrecy testimony

Randle’s original interviews add evidence that the failed witnesses cannot dispose of. Kevin Randle helped conduct the investigation, rather than merely summarizing it afterward. Understanding Roswell (2022) prints interview transcripts and notes that let us examine both the favorable testimony and the qualifications. Three examples bear directly on the material and the government response:

  • Lewis “Bill” Rickett, counterintelligence. In Schmitt’s 13 February 1990 interview, Rickett described handling stiff, lightweight material he could not bend, and recalled military police at the site. That is a claimed material observation by another serviceman, beyond Marcel’s interpretation. But Rickett remembered less debris than Marcel, described a much smaller area, and corrected the suggestion of an explosion. His account of specialists being unable to identify the material was information received later. Randle also notes that Rickett had seen Unsolved Mysteries. The full transcript supports an unusual-material and security claim more directly than a settled reconstruction of either site (Understanding Roswell, pp. 199–205).
  • Edwin Easley, provost marshal. Randle’s recorded 11 January 1990 interview preserves Easley saying, “I’ve been sworn to secrecy.” Randle also reports a copy of an envelope on which Easley wrote that secrecy prevented him from giving Friedman information about the 1947 incident north of Roswell. That written statement is useful support for the secrecy claim. The stronger exchange—Easley reportedly saying an extraterrestrial interpretation was “not the wrong path”—comes from Randle’s unrecorded follow-up notes, dated 2 February 1990 in the 2022 book. Easley’s recorded interview also rejects another witness’s claim that he was at the site. We have a substantive secrecy question, with the crucial extraterrestrial inference less securely preserved (Understanding Roswell, pp. 148–155).
  • Patrick Saunders, base adjutant. Randle reproduces an inscription beside a printed “Damage Control” account of altered files and personnel records: “Here’s the truth and I still haven’t told anybody anything! Pat”. This is an attributable written endorsement associated with an officer responsible for administration. It is stronger than an anonymous story that an officer privately agreed. It remains a later annotation to a published narrative, rather than a 1947 order specifying which files were altered. Randle’s report of his initial interview with Saunders was much less affirmative (Understanding Roswell, pp. 135–138, especially the reproduction on p. 136).

Bill Brazel supplies both a material claim and an alleged recovery of the remaining fragments. In the taped 19 February 1989 interview, he described pieces collected after the cleanup: woodlike material he could not cut and foil that unfolded after creasing. His father reportedly identified them with his earlier find. Bill then described uniformed men, led by an officer he tentatively remembered as Armstrong, taking his cigar box of fragments and asking him not to discuss them. His wording matters: he denied outright confiscation but described pressure to surrender the pieces. He also rejected the claim that his father was detained for eight days, recalling a shorter, agreed stay. Both qualifications belong beside the secrecy allegation (Understanding Roswell, pp. 86–93; Crash, pp. 71–72). This gives Tadolini’s account a specific source and an alleged explanation for the missing material.

Another material handler strengthens the question about the report’s selection of testimony. Sally Strickland Tadolini’s 27 September 1993 affidavit says Bill Brazel passed around material she handled as a child. Randle reproduces her description of crumpling it repeatedly and watching it flatten without wrinkles. He contrasts that paragraph with the Air Force summary’s quotation of its foil-, satin- and leather-like appearance (Crash, 2010, pp. 71–73; affidavit transcription). Her claimed direct observation concerns its behavior; its identification as material from the original recovery comes through Bill. This is a specific challenge to a selective summary, with no surviving sample to test. It should not be reduced to a generic recollection of foil.

Frankie Rowe adds a different claimed handling episode and a direct intimidation allegation. Her 22 November 1993 affidavit says a state trooper displayed material at the fire station that unfolded after crumpling; she said she touched it. Her report of bodies comes through her father, firefighter Dan Dwyer. Randle’s follow-up with J. L. Smith distinguishes Dwyer’s alleged trip in his own car from a fire-department dispatch (Understanding Roswell, pp. 64–66, 330). In her separate account of the military visit to her home, Rowe described questioning about the metal and threats against her and her parents (Roswell in the 21st Century, pp. 145–146). These are named claims about physical material and suppression, with the body observation explicitly secondhand. The affidavit preserves the allegations; it does not independently verify the trooper’s attribution or identify the men who threatened her.

There is also a body witness who should not disappear into the failures. In Crash (2010), pp. 92–93, Randle describes his own interview with Sergeant Thomas Gonzales, after accounts reached him through John Price and Don Ecker. Gonzales reportedly described a craft more like an airfoil than a saucer and small bodies distinct from the later “gray” image. Randle says his yearbook photograph confirms service at the base and that Gonzales’s son dated hearing the story to the 1960s. That places a named claimed eyewitness behind this strand; it does not produce a recording from the 1960s or a contemporary body record. Randle also acknowledges that Gonzales was elderly and that his own questioning was more forceful than necessary. This testimony deserves examination on its own terms, rather than rejection through Kaufmann or Anderson.

The shipment and onward-custody accounts require their own comparison; Part 16 brings DuBose, Porter and Exon together.

Finally, the Alien Autopsy film belongs in the history of Roswell’s promotion, not its 1947 documentation. In 2006 Santilli described the released film as a reconstruction of allegedly deteriorated footage; special-effects artist John Humphreys acknowledged making its alien body (contemporary account of their admissions). Calling it a “restoration” does not authenticate the claimed original. The film shown in 1995 cannot serve as a surviving 1947 autopsy record.

9. What the record carries

The contemporary sources establish the recovery, announcement, reversal, balloon-and-reflector descriptions, an unresolved Wright Field exchange and efforts to end publicity. They do not document bodies, an intact extraterrestrial craft or a second recovery site.

The later testimony raises additional material, shipment and secrecy questions. Each needs its own source history. That applies equally to Majestic documents: repeating details already in Roswell books supplies no independent confirmation without earlier provenance or verifiable new information.

10. Scorecard

Claim Assessment Tier
The base announced recovery of a “flying disc” on 8 July 1947 Documented: AP and local press A
Fort Worth identified it the same day as a weather balloon and radar target Documented A
Brazel reported a 14 June discovery and described foil, rubber, paper, sticks and flowered tape Contemporary published statement; the precise discovery date is reported, not independently fixed A for the record
The FBI recorded a hexagonal object suspended from a balloon Documented teletype A
The base history recorded a radar tracking balloon Documented A
No Roswell investigative case file has been identified in Sign, Grudge or Blue Book Distinguish a case file from a reference: a Roswell newspaper clipping appears in another Blue Book case B
Marcel handled debris he later called strange Present in 1947; his description dates from 1978–80 D
Alien bodies were recovered near Roswell No support in the contemporary sources reviewed; Gonzales supplies a separate late claimed eyewitness account E
Bodies on the Plains of San Agustin Barnett through intermediaries; dating disputed; Anderson’s supporting testimony discredited F for Anderson; E for the secondhand account
Kaufmann’s radar track and crash site Discredited: altered records and forged documents F
Ragsdale’s crash site Contradictory accounts; rejected by Randle E
Dennis’s nurse saw bodies Secondhand claim; the alleged nurse has not been reliably identified E
Bill Brazel and Frankie Rowe described handling material and subsequent military pressure Late claimed firsthand experiences; the material’s recovery provenance needs separate support D
Rickett handled unusual material and saw a guarded site Late claimed firsthand observations; the printed interview also complicates the field size and sequence D
Easley treated the incident as secret Recorded statement and reported written annotation; the stronger extraterrestrial exchange was unrecorded D
Saunders confirmed alteration of the records Later handwritten endorsement of a published account; no identified 1947 alteration order D for the endorsement
The 1995 Alien Autopsy film records a 1947 dissection Manufactured reconstruction, not authenticated original footage F

11. Records that could settle more of it

The priorities are receiving-end copies of Roswell’s destroyed messages; original DuBose, Easley and Exon interview records; the original annotated Saunders pages; and a sample or examination record with a verifiable route from the ranch. Part 15 tests Mogul and the official witness inquiry; Part 16 examines custody, programs and later material claims.

The 1947 record is a debris recovery, a public announcement and a reversal. The later literature adds bodies, intact craft, different sites and competing dates. Some accounts come from genuine participants; others have failed documentary checks. The strongest unresolved case rests on identifiable participants’ material and secrecy claims. Part 15 tests the official explanations and later proof claims; Part 16 follows custody, programs and physical-material evidence.

Corrections will be logged publicly. Surviving message copies, contemporary examination records and original interview materials could narrow the remaining questions.

Experience My experience with aliens/transdimensional beings

Allow me to share with you an experience I had some time ago with aliens/transdimensional beings.

I was sitting at night in front of my house watching the stars. All of a sudden my forehead started vibrating. After 2 seconds vibrating an hologram image started appearing in front of me. A white emeraldish light appeared 3 meters in front of me with 3 or 4 human like figures but dressed in high noble code (as weird as it may look they were dressing something like Whis from Dragon Ball). I couldn't recognize them.

What I felt at that moment was overwhelming to an extent I ended with a panic attack (which made them leave). First I felt the sense of nobility and divinity they transmitted was overwhelming. It was pure and pristine. I felt like a total pig. The energy they projected completely crashed my ego. In a brief moment, that's how long it lasted unfortunately, a huge chunk of my ego got dissolved. Those beings projected a field that made all the skeletons I hide in my closet come out to an extent I stopped working. The feeling was visceral in my body. Some kind of traditional hologram humans may have created cannot project that kind of presence only image. You actually feel their presence in your body. It's intense. I would say in spiritual terms, it's a vibration much much much higher than humans are. It was overwhelming high to an extent I was not able to handle. I started having a panic attack. They recognized it and telepathically said to me, something along the lines, I cannot remember the precise exact words, "We are leaving because we are causing you distress and you are not yet capable of interacting with us". And the hologram vanished. I received their message. I have that capacity.

Let me try to explain the telepathic experience.

Can you all hear your voice in your head when you think right? The voice that speaks to you in your head "the oven?? Did I turn it off??" when you get in the bus. In that same space their voice materializes automatically and you can hear it as you can hear yours. How to send messages to them? I don't know, i didn't got there. Maybe they could hear my thinking too? Maybe I needed to mentally project my mental speech to them? I don't know. Next time if I have the chance to do it I'll try it and figure out if I can do the same.

I was left like a vegetable for a few seconds after they left until I got back to myself and started trying to figure out what happened. Was it some form of project blue beam?? Can't be, this experience was beyond intense and overwhelmingly distinct in quality to whatever I've ever experienced in my life. A simple man-made hologram or projection cannot cast such overwhelming presence of divinity. Or can it?? If humans mastered this level ever.... Seems totally impossible. It's visceral in your body. It completely crashes your ego. You feel completely exposed, and you are. In front of such intelligence and power you cannot hide anything. I'm ashamed of things I did, specially sexual stuff I paid for. This all came to the surface. I felt a pig. I was exposed. Without a word being said and it was terrifying. Can they read your mind the same way they can project their voice into it? I don't know but I felt totally seen. I thought I was at peace with myself and my past but I wasn't. That moment those shadows came all back. I felt the feeling in my body viscerally that something really divine was there not just a simple representation.

I'm from Portugal and there is a well know story here of something similar happening. It was the apparition of the virgin mary to the young shepherds (children at the time) multiple times in the same place, Cova da Iria near Fátima. It gave birth to the largest sanctuary in Portugal. What she told them was confirmed after. The last one that died a couple years ago was sister Lúcia. Not all of them were able to communicate with the virgin. I don't know precisely but some where only able to see her. Go check the story of the three shepherds of Fatima and see for yourselves their testimonials.

In my case I can assure you it was not her. It was 3 or 4 completely unknown individuals. Were these the good aliens? Are there opposite aliens that look and feel exactly differently? Completely terrifying by such evil? I don't know but I wonder. My experience isn't enough to confirm that. I assure you, many adults cannot handle such experience without having a panic attack only someone who have completely dissolved their ego or are completely innocent like children. And here goes my theory.

What if the virgin appeared to the three shepherds because they were children and innocent so their ego didn't interfere in the appearance and communication. That's why she chose them and that's why a human can endure such experiences if there is no ego. In my case there was and still have that's why I don't think any regular adult can endure such experience gracefully. It's terrifying. Your ego feels completely seen and exposed.

But this I figured out is also medicine. This kind of presence I assure you dissolves the human ego by just being. This could be a mechanism of ego dissolution. If more people became able to stand their presence their egos would completely dissolve very easily. But I found very difficult to sustain such presence. Their presence can completely transform a person or group of people in very little time. It's like approaching cold iron to a torch. The iron will warm up. I wish I could have a similar experience some day and I become capable of enduring it and be able to communicate both ways.

In July of 2019 the U.S Navy Caught this Object.
Off the Coast of San Diego California.
This Footage was not shown to the public for almost 2 years.
But on May 14 2021 an investigative film maker named Jeremy Corbell leaked it online.
And to this day in my opinion this is one of the most compelling ufo videos.
And one of my favorite ufo videos.

for those who don’t know , Remote viewing is the ability to mentally perceive distant places, objects, or events without using your physical senses. During the Cold War, the military and CIA explored it for intelligence purposes, developing a structured tested technique called **Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV)**that uses relaxation, mental impressions, and sketching to describe hidden targets.

I’ll keep a short but this was a fascinating remote viewing project that I didn’t know about until I stumbled upon daz smith team channel examining it. It was an interesting project that added more light and validity about the subject that I think more people should know about. I find it great when remote viewers don’t shy away from woo woo topics such as this that help reveal the greater reality.

if you want to check out the remote viewing project here it is:

Hope someone finds this interesting!
