I believe the fuel pump on my 1987 4.0L has kicked the bucket. I am getting voltage at the connector and a good ground.

I pulled the pump and dear God is the inside of the tank horrific. For $150 it is absolutely worth putting a new tank in.

Any reason to do anything besides stock fuel tank? It seems the options for sending units and pumps are limited, so it is worth it to put an XJ tank under my truck? Any other reason to go one way or the other?

Also worth noting I intend to replace the filler neck and fuel lines while I am doing this. Rust and dried out rubber are waiting to give out.
